“I came after my nieces softball game at Norwalk high School. I have been looking for a good local Chinese fast food location. The quality of the food is tasty. They cut your teriyaki chicken when you order it, but I did happen to come when they were near the end of their coconut shrimp (still tasty). I am a fried rice only so I can't say how delicious the chow mien is. I would gladly recommend and if they were closer, this would be my go to spot for Chinese fast food.“

“I stopped by this Chinese fast food spot recently, and it honestly exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the service was incredibly welcoming with friendly staff.
The food was so freaking good. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. But the best part is the portions, they PACK your container like crazy. Mine was so full it wouldn’t even close all the way 😂 definitely not complaining.
I left stuffed and still had food left over. Great service, and bomb food. Easy 5 stars, I’m definitely coming back.“

Glad I asked for extra sauce or else I would have been mad at myself with all the food they gave me. 5 stars. For fast service call them and pick up within 15 minutes. Honestly amazed how fresh and fast they are. Keep up the good work.“

“We’ve been here four times now, which is probably the best compliment I can give. When Mo Ran Gak is at its best, it’s one of my favorite Korean restaurants in Southern California. When it’s off, the inconsistency keeps it from being a five star experience.

The first visit was outstanding. The galbi was perfectly seasoned, not overly sweet, not overly salty, with great caramelization and tenderness. The naengmyeon was exactly what you hope for. Icy cold with crunchy ice still floating in the broth, crisp vegetables and incredibly refreshing.

The second visit was a completely different experience. The galbi was noticeably drier and under seasoned and the naengmyeon arrived only slightly cold. The ice had already melted, which takes away one of the best parts of great naengmyeon. The slices of beef that come with the noodles have also been consistently dry. That may be traditional, but it’s never been the highlight of the dish.

The service is probably the weakest part of the restaurant. Nobody has ever been outright rude, but it’s difficult to get someone’s attention and the staff generally feels indifferent. You can tell they’re busy, but hospitality often feels like an afterthought. I’d probably rate the service around a 3 out of 5.

The restaurant itself is older but clean, with a comfortable atmosphere and moderate noise. Parking can be frustrating and there’s usually a wait, but that’s expected for a popular spot.

One thing I really enjoy is the complimentary crispy pancake they bring out. Honestly, I’d happily eat an entire plate of it. The banchan are solid overall, though fairly average.

Despite the inconsistency, I still think this is some of the best naengmyeon and especially bibim naengmyeon you’ll find in the Los Angeles area. That’s why we keep coming back. I just hope they can deliver the same level of quality every visit because when they do, it’s genuinely excellent.“

I got the bulgogi and it was perfect. Juicy, just the perfect amount of sweetness. A generous proportion and well balanced with the egg, veggies etc.. a perfect medley and entirely satisfying.“

“This Korean bbq is pretty good. It's cheaper than the others n there isn't a salad bar but if the meats are good that's what's important to me. Bulgogi was good as was brisket. Attentive waiters to make sure you've got meat to grill without waiting“

“I got the Smoking Song Sandwich with Mac & Cheese & it was delicious! I waited 30 more minutes to then order a $5 beer for the FIFA special. $5 fries & $5 beers during World Cup matches!
I had my Pomeranian with me so we enjoyed the nice spacious patio and still got a view of the TVs inside :) Employees are great! I’m looking forward to coming back to try more of their menu & trying their FIFA fries special 😋“

“The brisket was amazing! When I get brisket at other places it's dry and not flavorful. Here, it was perfection. The Mac n cheese, beans, and potato salad were all delicious. You can really tell that they put a lot of thought into their recipes, and you can taste the quality. My only ask is that they add baby back ribs to their menu!“

“Been meaning to hit this place, but always pass them up. Glad I stopped by, they got some good eats here. Tried the Vamipro with bistec and potato. Nice and crispy hand made tortilla. Potatos were healthy cut pieces and soft. Also had the Guisado sampler and man they are not shy with the servings. I definitely recommend the sampler plate if you are wanting to try the different options of guisados. For this location early is better as they do sell out of items on the early side. They also have restaurant where you can get there goods as well.“

“Today I went to rodeo 39 in Garden Grove with some friends and I stumbled across Kra Z Kai's. It was my second time trying Laos barbecue. This place is a hidden gem for sure. Everything was the delicious. The ribs were marinated for 24 hours. The barbecue pork and the chicken were all marinated in the same sauce. The owner told me the service was fast and this whole ambience was nice some of the best food I've had in a long time next time I'm going to Garden Grove. I will come here again.“

“I've tried just about everything on the menu at Shady Grove Foods and nothing disappoints. I can close my eyes and put my finger on the menu and I would be happy wherever it landed. I had Sticky Bones again tonight and I'm as thrilled as the first time I tried them and all the other times I've had them and in fact I feel like tonight's were the best ever. I seriously enjoy their food and hospitality. The hardest part is driving back to Cal Heights without opening the box and start eating. The KBBQ was super yummy and I especially loved the steamed egg, I ordered two total. The house salad was so so good- I wish someone would tell me the recipe (pls) because I ate the whole bowl. We also have the tom kha seafood soup, very comforting and full of ingredients and spices. the crying tiger is so juicy. And the crab fried rice can really taste the wok. We also tried the new fried pork with Chinese broccoli. For dessert we have the mango sticky rice, I like how it comes with a heart shape!
