“I waited in a long line, but the food was well worth the wait. I watched as the cooks made the plates, and I couldn’t wait to get my own plate. The brisket fries were on point, and the sweet potato cornbread needs to be bagged and sold in stores, yummy. Very friendly atmosphere and gteat service. “I'll get into the food review later, but first I have to say that the customer service here was top-notch. In all my wisdom, I picked like the busiest weekend to finally decide to try eating here for the first time. So understandably, the owner was absolutely swamped and there was a little wait. I didn't mind, I ordered something simple for my first time anyways, and he was up front with the fact that there would be a wait. We got to talking when I did get my food, and they genuinely care about providing good service and getting orders right here. I love that, it's something I really miss seeing in businesses. It was a good little chat. Based on that alone, I am happy to come again.

But the food! Ahhh it was delicious. The rib I had was so good that I had to text my sister after the first bite to tell her she missed out when she came to visit me. I tried both sauces and I really liked the spicy one more than I thought I would, just because these days I'm getting more sensitive to spice. But it was a very reasonable level, super flavorful for me. My brisket was excellent too. I think the pricing was also pretty good, but I'm not an expert there. Next time I'm gonna try some sides :D

“It just has that KBBQ vibe. The servers are so friendly and super accommodating. They suggest, recommend, and chat you up. Super cozy.

As for the food, get the signature dish: gobchang (intestines). For a medium, you get to choose three of the four choices: abomasum (stomach), tripe, large intestines, and small intestines. Additionally, you get side dishes, a choice of a stew (kimchi or fermented soybean), corn cheese, steamed egg, and salad. They cook the intestines for you before bringing it out to your table, so that it says warm as you eat. They stir fry the intestines with potato slices, onions, garlic and mushrooms. They really do 곱창 right. We also ordered the beef tartare, since they had posters of it around the restaurant. The beef tartare is definitely in the top 3 of the ones I've tried around OC, NY, and SD. The cuts are thicker than normal and the seasoning is perfect. They don't include a lot of ingredients like other places do, but it just hits better.

It's within a plaza, so there is plenty of parking around the restaurant. This place has become one of my go-tos for gopchang. A++!“
