“First time here I found a bunch of feathers still attached to my wings they ended up giving me a discount on the meal oh well, but second time here was way better. I love their beans with pieces of chopped pork, it’s so sweet and juicy. I love pairing it with their corn bread muffin. Overall the food is very good (I wouldn’t recommend the brisket personally) service is mediocre. I like coming here every so often. ??“
“I think out of the Ono's this is the best one by far. They always pack the plates. I cant finish the Hawaiian BBQ trip plate at this location. I tried other spots but they tend to skimp the protein portions for some reason. The people ringing up the order are always so nice and understanding. The place if not packed as it tends to be, is always clean. I like it, which is why I tend to go every weekend. The prices are fair for what they serve as well. 16 dollar plates for a ton of food.“
“If you're looking for a good steak, ribs, and soups, this is the place. Everything we've had has been so yummy. Pull pork sandwich is also really good. They've got the best onion rings I've ever tasted, for sure. If you're into onion rings, make sure you have them here. All 3 sounds I highly recommend. Beef Barley is my favorite, and chili bean soup is my kids. Their cheeseburgers are also great. The service is always goodParking: There's not a whole lot of parking given this place is very popular but you'll find someKid-friendliness: Atmosphere is kid friendly“
“If you want good Filipino food from a family owned cozy staple in Filipino town then this is the place to go! Came by here during a visit to LA and it was recommended by some friends who live in the neighborhood and I was not disappointed at all. Here are some takeaways:EnvironmentThis is a small cozy restaurant that has a family style vibe to it. A great welcoming energy, we felt right at home. We stopped around midday during the week so it wasn't a lot of people there. Overall it was relaxing and warm - great for lunch with friends or if you're alone and want to grab a bite to eat.ServiceOur server happened to also be the daughter of the owners. She was great and was happy to share some of the history of the restaurant with me. She was very helpful with telling us about the food and giving us recommendations. Great service!Food and drinksWe had a little bit of everything - and all of it was great! Here's a run down of everything we had:MAMA LEAH'S COCONUT BEEF ADOBOANN'S CORNBREAD BIBINGKASTEAMED WHITE RICENOEL'S SMOKED GOUDA MACSAN PABLO PULLED PORKEverything was delicious. The coconut beef (amazing!) was great with the steamed white rice, the mac and cheese was tasty, the pulled pork had a lot of flavor and the cornbread was warm and sweet, but not too sweet. Again - all the food was great.OverallLovely family owned restaurant. So glad that we stopped by here. If i'm ever in LA again this will definitely be a place I'll visit again. Great food with a great story.“
“First time coming here, we ordered the kimchi fried rice, beef galbi plate, and grilled shrimp plate - it was all soo delicious! Probably the best kimchi fried rice I've ever had, and it had an overeasy egg! I got it to go but it was quick and made fresh. Will definitely be back!“
“Be prepared to spend some extra cash for a lunch outing. The line is long so if you don’t like to wait come on one of the weekdays that they are open. The food is good extra rich so beware if you’re the sensitive stomach or heartburn type. So try the key lime pie or the banana pudding because they will run out and it’s delicious!Overall, definitely save this place in your “want to goes”“
“We tried the diamond set. The meat quality of the 1st round was really good. But the quality of a5 wagyu was not as good after the 1st round. Sweet shrimp was not that fresh, and the steam egg portion was too big. The wagyu sandwich was not good at all and way too dried. Overall, it was a great experience.“
“We came across this place on Yelp and let me just say we really enjoyed this kbbq! We've been to quite a few, but this has made it to the top of our list! The variety, and the semi buffet is greattttt! We usually don't like bulgogi from past experiences but they have a Hawaiian marinated bulgogi and it is amazing !!! We will forsure be returning, they also have a ramen option for a soup ... we'll definitely be back for that one! The service was great, they constantly came for a grill change and definitely helps out so we weren't constantly asking for one! 1000/10 recommend !“
“This was my first time eating here, and I wasn't sure what to order. They let me sample the chicken and the beef birria. It was very good. The meat is tender and they have great prices. When your in town, stop here, you will be happy that you did.Vegetarian options: Beans, rice and they serve ramen. You can customize and leave the meat out if you want. Taco, burrito, and quesadilla You can put avocado beans and rice and cheese.“
“I’m a Marine Corps veteran. Hadn’t been is this place for about 6 years. From what I understand it’s under new management. Went with a fellow Marine veteran. Food wasn’t at good as before, neither was the menu. But our waitress Marisol was awesome. She made our night.“
