Wood Ranch Cerritos Reviews
We’ve been loyal customers of Wood Ranch BBQ and always enjoyed the open seating in the bar area—until today. After we were seated, an employee named Natalie Hermosillo Castillo approached us and abruptly told us we had to move. Her tone was rude and unnecessarily aggressive, which made us feel completely unwelcome.
There was no courtesy, no explanation—just hostility. It was shocking and disappointing, especially since we’ve never had issues with seating in that...read full review
I just put a order for pick up. Order did not go through but I was already charged. Even with proof I ordered they said they would put my order through and charge me twice. Happy Mother’s Day to me with no food and a horrible experience. Thank you manager Tim who wouldn’t give his last name (woodranch Thousand Oaks)
Ribs and chocolate cake, and sweet smashed potatoes and mac n cheese were superb. As was the tri tip salad. Service was the best. I wish I could teach ALL restaurants how to make regular mashed potatoes, especially if they aren't serving gravy. Never the less, 5 stars.

Based on recent reviews, Wood Ranch Cerritos offers a dining experience where the meat selections are the true stars of the show. First timers are often impressed, finding the ribs soooo good and tender with a sauce that tastes home made. The tri tip is flavorful, and the beef ribs and half chicken are on point. The Rib Eye, though on the higher end price wise, is absolute delicious, tender, and full of flavor. The potato skins are some of the best, and the beef brisket sandwich with sweet potato fries tastes delicious. While the Mac N cheese could have used better texture and the ceaser salad lettuce wasn't as fresh as it could be, the food and service are very good. The service is friendly and quick, with many guests noting excellent service from the host stand and servers who are attentive, welcoming, and knowledgeable. One manager went above and beyond to make a first dining experience very special. The place can be busy, especially on Fridays with graduations, but the flow of business is managed well. Guests recommend going before 4pm to beat the crowds and note the quality of food and service has not changed.
