From the moment we sat down, she treated us with a level of kindness and genuine empathy that you rarely come across. It never felt like she was simply doing her job. You could tell she truly cared about making sure we had a great experience. She noticed the little things before we even had to ask, checked in at just the right times, and somehow made us feel like we were her only table even though the restaurant was busy.
Great service is about much more than getting orders right. It is about making people feel welcomed, valued, and cared for. Catherine did exactly that. Her warmth and sincerity turned an ordinary dinner into something we will genuinely remember. People like her are the reason customers return.
The meal was enjoyable, but it is Catherine’s exceptional hospitality that we will be talking about long after we have forgotten what we ordered. She represents everything you hope for when you go out to eat. Olive Garden is incredibly fortunate to have someone with her level of professionalism, compassion, and dedication. It is hard to imagine anyone leaving her table without a smile.

Since it was our first time dining here, we asked for his suggestions, and his recommendations for our appetizers, entrees, drinks, and desserts was absolutely amazing. We were so impressed by his professionalism and attentive service; we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

“This was our first visit to the Cerritos location. I often choose restaurants based on reviews and enjoy trying new places, so I was curious to see how this one would compare. At first, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the overall experience was better than I anticipated.
The seasoning was a little strong, and some dishes had a fairly familiar, standardized taste. Nothing was bad, and everything was prepared well, but I do feel a little disappointed when the authentic flavors of traditional Chinese food become less noticeable.
There were four of us, and we ordered about eight or nine of their most popular dishes. My parents really enjoyed the food. I have worked in China before, so I may be a little more sensitive and particular when it comes to Chinese food.
Overall, the restaurant has good reviews, the prices are reasonable, and it was a pretty good dining experience.”

“Tried out your Cerritos location, I lived in LA almost 3years and food especially the kebab wrap was the best by far and I have tried different kebab place’s before in LA. One of the best Kebab place in America, the lamb was moist and very tasty with great flavors, the combination of the hummus, salad, fries combined with the lamb was delicious, the fresh flat bread was soft and crispy on the outside. Add the garlic yogurt sauce wow your tastebuds explodes in your mouth, the food was very lite and not heavy like most kebab place so they got the right balance by using the flat bread and not pita bread that most place use on the wrap Well done this place remind me of a place back home in New Zealand. I give The Kebab shop in Cerritos 10/10 Highly Recommend this place to my friends and family and different locations in America. Will go again and try something different on the menu.”

First visit was General Tso’s (my favorite), 2nd visit was Chicken Chow mein, today is Spicy Orange Chicken (move over General Tso’s, you’ve been replaced!). The staff is always friendly and helpful, the food is really good. When their menu says “spicy”, they mean a nice little kick and not a flamethrower!! I always order to go, 10 minutes and I am out the door. Portions are big (mine always makes 2 meals). I found my new favorite place 😁”

Haha, The two people that were helping me were Jo and Steve or Steven, I didn't quite hear the other employee name but it's somewhere along those lines. They were super nice! Right when I walked in, I was greeted with "Welcome to Tapioca Express!" It made me feel very welcomed, which is a feeling everybody should feel when they walk into a store. Since I always order Thai Tea, I just wanted to take a look at the menu and see what other options they had. They offered me other drinks but I had to stay with my usual. I liked how they were so patient with me. The Thai Tea tasted amazing! The sugar was just perfect! I will be coming back! Thank you for being patient and having a great customer service!”

“We usually ordered wings: Gangnam Style and Honey Garlic, but this time we decided to try Half & Half: Golden Original and Hot Spicy. We wish they provide slaw to complement the chicken, but only pickled radish is available. We did order a side of slaw, it's heavily dressed so it's not the best. There's no sauce to dip the golden original, so we use our own chili oil. The hot spicy is good, it's on the sweet side though. I would go with the wings next time.
The staff is definitely friendlier under the new management. We waited 20 minutes for our pick up order which is a bit longer than usual. I also like the new ambiance making it better for dining in, so we might do that next time.”

“Yesterday, Jan. 17, 2022, at around 2:39 P.M., my wife and I had lunch. I highly commend the staff for following the health protocol of checking the proof of vaccination of their customers. We were approached by a young lady waitress who took our orders and after a while, we were served our lunch order. Then came the time we had to pay our lunch bill. We called her attention and she handed us the bill book but she left right away after pouring the leftover broth in the styrofoam containers but we still have some food to go but she left without finishing her job with us and leaving the book with our payment. We saw her by the door greeting new customers coming in and totally ignoring our presence and stood there nonchalantly as if we were invisible. She should have finished with us before attending to new customers. This is a “no-no” for a business place like this! Not all customers are honest and could have slipped out without paying their bill on a case like this. All I did was to stand up and hand our payment to another waiter who was around. This lady waitress did not totally come back to us. I would like to call the attention of Yuzu Shabu Management to address the and take action to this matter and to monitor this behavior of its staff. In any business, Customer satisfaction is of utmost importance. Thank you for your kind attention!”

The tteokbokki was probably our favorite, the sauce had the perfect sweet and spicy flavor. The BBQ Korean beef was super tender and paired really well with the Cajun shrimp garlic noodles. We also got the chicken katsu curry, which was crispy, flavorful, and super comforting.
Definitely a great spot to come with friends and share a few dishes. We’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu!”

“Tried out your Cerritos location, I lived in LA almost 3years and food especially the kebab wrap was the best by far and I have tried different kebab place’s before in LA. One of the best Kebab place in America, the lamb was moist and very tasty with great flavors, the combination of the hummus, salad, fries combined with the lamb was delicious, the fresh flat bread was soft and crispy on the outside. Add the garlic yogurt sauce wow your tastebuds explodes in your mouth, the food was very lite and not heavy like most kebab place so they got the right balance by using the flat bread and not pita bread that most place use on the wrap Well done this place remind me of a place back home in New Zealand. I give The Kebab shop in Cerritos 10/10 Highly Recommend this place to my friends and family and different locations in America. Will go again and try something different on the menu.”

This is a nice family run restaurant in strip mall in Cerritos with the typical “hole in the wall”. the prices are good and everything is made from scratch- which makes the food more delicious. excellent bullet garlic naan bread. Really good. Palak paneer also top notch. However the samosa chaat is outstanding as is the Masala chai( sweet and spicy even with no sugar as we requested)- yum. Top notch food and great service - we really felt welcomed and loved!”

“It was our first time to check out this Thai restaurant, and we're glad we decided to give it a shot today. We usually go to Monora or Sweetee for our Thai food cravings. BTW, the lunch special is only available M-Th.
This place replaced Sup Noodles, the layout looks similar. We ordered Prik King chicken, Choo Chee Salmon and Mango Sticky Rice. Prik King has green bean, bell pepper and chicken (or choice of tofu, crispy pork, beef, shrimp), stir fried with red chili paste. It's pretty good (3/5) although the green bean is rather soft (I prefer flash fried then a quick stir fry) and crispy pork might have been a better choice than chicken. The Choo Chee Salmon is average (3/5), my preference is to reduce the coconut milk and more red curry, it's a bit too creamy for my taste. The mango sticky rice dessert is out-of-this-world good (5/5). The mango is perfect and sweet, the purple rice is warm and topped with fragrant coconut milk sauce. We will return to check out the Khao Soi, Crab fried rice or Kapow... and more mango sticky rice.”

“This afternoon, I stopped in at 8th Symphony Coffee in Cerritos and was greeted by a very lovely young woman. I asked how recently the coffee had been made, and she answered me honestly. I then asked for an Americano and was fortunate enough to have had Aisjah prepare my drink. He handled my questions with ease and was professional and courteous. I could not have been happier. I look forward with pleasure to my next cup of coffee at 8th Symphony Coffee.

“Ice cream is usually a safe choice—until you order a banana split and it looks nothing like the picture.
This is my second time visiting since they moved across the street. The store is very clean and feels brand new. The staff were young, friendly, and pleasant, which made the visit enjoyable.
Unfortunately, both visits had the same issue: missing toppings. They didn’t have hot chocolate syrup, which is essential for a banana split. The whipped cream was flat and seemed watered down, likely from being left out too long. Making a banana split isn’t hard, but without the right ingredients, the experience falls short. The alternative topping combinations didn’t really work either.
If the manager sees this, I hope you make sure all toppings are consistently available and fresh.
