“After some time visiting our go to Filipino restaurant in Lomita and after they changed location, raising prices, and deciding to go full blown commercial, decided to take a drive to Cerritos and pay 'Pinoy Pinay' a visit and give them a try.Me and my family came with a healthy appetite for Filipino home cooking.Being our first time not really knowing the outcome observed the many people visiting this spot. The smells and displays of their food was quite tantalizing. They have a large variety of dishes to choose from and our favorite is curry chicken, chicken/pork Adobo, pork menudo, pancit, lumpia, and I love binagoongan (which to my disappointment they didn't have today). My wife and daughter got their special combo with Curry chicken, grilled pork skewers which came with 3 scoops of rice. One bag of Lumpia and sweet dipping sauce.I got their special combo with Filipino menudo, pork Adobo, and the 3 scoops of rice. One of the servers behind the hot cases asked if I wanted their free bowls of homemade soup (being that I love soup) "Yes please" she also asked if my wife wanted one as well for she was ready to pay without getting any. She turned it down knowing she wouldn't finish it.After getting our food we selected a booth and started to enjoy our meals. To all of our surprise, everything was delicious. I was disappointed in the soup for it was just a tad bit on the vinegary side. I have had the chicken soup at our old Filipino go to restaurant and enjoyed it there, however here, was not for the taste palette. With the soup being too vinegary and their fish sauce/vinegar bottles on the dining tables needing a little tending to (could use to change to a more convenient dispenser), being my only gripe, I give this restaurant a 4 star.Restaurant was clean, organized, and had great service. We will be coming back to check out more items on the menu.Great Filipino food Pinoy Pinay!“
“These chili BBQ fries are out of this world! You are transported to fry heaven in each delectable, finger-licking, euphoric bite. Perfect snack portion in the middle of your mall excursion. Be prepared to get your fingers covered in seasoning. It's a messy affair, but one that leaves you content and wondering how you got to the bottom of the cup so quickly. Once you realize the last delicious spud has been unconsciously consumed, a feeling of deep despondency settles into your core and you can't help but dream about the next serendipitous encounter. Potato Corner is undoubtedly a fantastic corner, serving up your fry fantasies one fry bucket at a time.“
“Very amazing customer service, employees were very nice and polite. And I only had to wait about 5 ish minutes for my food. Overall a great experience and great food. Especially the funnel cake fries:)Kid-friendliness: Starts conversation with kids, usually silly and funny“
“I miss when this place had big bao. I noticed they only offer "2-piece" options now and it's small bao. What they had before was just HUGE bao in a single piece and it was great. Flavors are still good but now everything is smaller... except for the golden yolk bao, somehow they got bigger and they no longer sell three in a pack. But it's harder to eat that way because of how liquid the center is“
“The restaurant was clean and organized. Food was fresh. I was just looking for a gravy for my chicken because I was used to have gravy with my chicken lauriat when I was in the Philippines. I also ordered pork siopao whick I really love. Siomai was also good.“
“I'm not a Californian, and I don't see anything special about the "experience." My evaluation is all about the food and the service. The service was quick. We spent very little time standing still. They kept the line moving. The food was hot, and the order was accurate. The drinks were already in a carrier, the drinks were a large root beer and two stakes. Good customer service and consideration of convenience for the customer. Well done!l ✔️“
