“I've been to the Katsu Bar in Irvine, and I enjoyed the food so much that I had to come back.

Parking: Free parking lot. They're located in a high foot traffic plaza, so finding a spot can be a hit or miss.

Ambiance/Environment: They have a small indoor space with a decent amount of indoor seating. Very casual and chill. I visited on a weekday, so it wasn't too busy.

Service: I was greeted right when I entered. She asked if I had any questions and offered help. There's two self ordering kiosks. You can also order takeout. Throughput took a little over 10 minutes.

Food: I ordered the Rosemary Chicken Katsu Sando with baja chipotle sauce and waffle fries. Their sandos are my favorite menu items. Perfect for lunch. The chicken katsu was fried and seasoned deliciously. The bread was milky and light. The waffle fries tasted as expected. My only tip is try to eat the sandos asap. Otherwise the bread might get too soft. I really wanted the strawberry sandos for dessert, but they were out of stock that day. Highly recommend trying the sandos!

Pricing: They have daily deals at an extremely affordable price. Honestly everything on their menu is worth its price. Will definitely be visiting this small chain again!“

“Alright, so let me set the scene. We hit the Cerritos food court on a Tuesday night—wasn’t exactly buzzing, but it wasn’t a ghost town either. It had this mellow, low-key vibe going, but man, I couldn’t help but wish it was packed out. You know that energy you get when a place is hopping? That’s what it’s missing.

Don’t get me wrong, the food options are solid, and the people are friendly. We grabbed our favorites—Lillian was in her element, Oceano was all about the chicken, and I was just soaking it all in. But here’s the thing: food prices have gotten stupid expensive lately. It’s hard to drop a chunk of cash at a food court and not feel a little salty. You want a vibe that matches the price, you feel me?

The food court could totally use something to bring the people in—like a special event or some kind of food fest. Imagine a night where they get all the vendors to throw down their best dishes, maybe with some music or a themed night. Give people a reason to come out in droves, especially during the week when it’s quieter.

It’s just that the food’s good, but when you’re paying more, you want an experience. You want that buzz in the air, that feeling like you’re in the right place. And yeah, even though it wasn’t packed, we still had a great time as a family, but Cerritos could really be that spot if they upped the energy.

If they want to keep people coming back, they need to find a way to make the food court more of a thing again. And with the prices these days, people need that extra push to justify it.“

“Absolutely amazing, I wish I could remember the name of the girl up front she was so welcoming and let me know I was the first person ordering their new short rib, which by the way was amazing and so soft, and the kimchi cucumber was perfectly sweet with a hint of spice. I very much enjoyed this bright meal, and the brightness of the conversation from the girl up front. She was by far the friendliest server I’ve encountered and I love coming to this location for the quality! I came around 11:40 am in 7/14. So good!!!“

Clean establishment. Workers are generous with the meat and vegetable amount. They are not stingy like some other locations.“

“I eat at this restaurant regularly, but today the food was terrible. The chicken was dry, and the bread was also dry and hard, not as good as usual. I hope the restaurant keeps things the same as they were originally; please don't change anything.“

“This place is pure nostalgia. It's been a long minute since I had a corndog here. I was at the mall recently and decided to get lunch at the food court. Hot Dog on a Stick instantly caught my eye after all these years. The classic made-to-order corndogs and the hand-stomped lemonade are hard to resist.

I ordered the 2-for-$7.99 deal and a cherry lemonade. I picked one beef and one original turkey corndog. The first bite brought back memories. The cornmeal coating was fried perfectly with a slight crisp. My favorite was the beef corndog, but the turkey is enjoyable as well.

The lemonade now has a variety to choose from. The cherry lemonade was refreshing and sweet. I noticed there was a limited-time Dragonfruit version, which I hope to try soon.

The staff was kind and provided quick service. It wasn't too busy during lunch, so my order was ready within five minutes. The food court dining area is clean and spacious, with plenty of tables and seating.

“Jersey Mike's is a chain that prides itself on consistency. Well corporate needs to look into getting the quality of customer service at this location consistent everywhere. The Sunday morning crew here are the most polite and caring of any location I've ever been.

Spicy & Sweet Chicken and Veggies bowl-
A little spicy, a little sweet, this bowl was satiating and tasted good, too. Charbroiled, with fresh ingredients, a quality meal to be had.

Service was good. Ordering at the counter was prompt, and I had my bowl in no time. Ample seating inside, WaBa Grill is located within a dead plaza. I believe Somunnan Korean Restaurant is the busiest tenant. Ample parking.

Another year, another WaBa Grill bowl. The Spicy & Sweet Chicken and Veggies bowl was a welcome meal, and I appreciate the friendly service & clean dining room. Highly recommend!“
