“Mhat Korean Restaurant may be a small spot, but it delivers authentic Korean flavors and a really satisfying meal.

We ordered the Dak Galbi (Stir-fried Spicy Chicken) with a side of mozzarella cheese, along with an order of fried dumplings. The dak galbi was packed with flavor, and we appreciated being able to adjust the spice level to something a little milder. Adding the mozzarella was definitely the right call, it melted into the spicy chicken, making the dish even richer and creamier while balancing the heat beautifully. The fried dumplings were crispy, flavorful, and made a great side.

The best part of the meal was saving room for the fried rice at the end. They cooked it right in the leftover dak galbi sauce, soaking up all of the rich, spicy flavors. It’s definitely the way to finish the meal and something I highly recommend ordering.

The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, but the food is authentic, the portions are satisfying, and everything came together for a great dining experience. If you’re craving dak galbi, this place is well worth checking out.”

“Love the food here in Soy Tofu. I ordered Kimchi bibimbap with bulgogi at it was just right for my taste. Also ordered seafood pancakes and the side dishes were a hit for me. Will definitely comeback to try out other dishes.”

“Many classic korean food is sold, we had pollack soup and woogujisoondae soup, both were really good. What we particularly liked was side dishes. All portions were plentiful and tasted how it should. We'll definitely comeback.”

“Great food and great service. This my go to spot for catering sushi. The owner usually just needs an hour notice to get your order going. I’ve gotten this catered on thanksgiving and today for Christmas. The food is fresh and presented with care.

“The inside of the cafe is large and decorated very well and nicely. There is a lot of seating in the area for studying or just catching up. It is also located in an area with lots of parking.
Ordered the following:

- Pistachio Matcha Latte Cold foam
- Strawberry Latte

The staff was super nice and was able to adjust my drink for the pistachio matcha latte cold foam. It was very light and not super sweet and you can taste both the matcha and the pistachio in the drink. The strawberry latte didn't feel like puree was used but more infused into the coffee itself.

Overall, I liked the drinks and would like to come back to try other things on their menu!”

“Lovely small restaurant and very affable chef. We have deep appreciation for all things hainan chicken given our family roots in singapore. The chicken had the right balance to the tongue, moist, steamed well and served at room temperature. The three sauces were also well done and balanced. The chicken rice was not overly oily, fragrant, right balance of garlic/pandan leaf. We also got the chashui bento as well and very nice cuts of the pork, well seasoned, not overly sweet with 3 beautiful sides. Would definitely come again. This can compete with the other Hainan chicken establishments in LA/OC (Savoy, Ipoh Kopitiam, Cluck2go), come and give it a try.”

“My favorite is the spicy veggie noodle salad. It's perfectly delicious. Everyone is so nice and accommodating at this restaurant.

“I love this place! One of the servers is great, she always fills my plate. However, today at about 12:30pm I went to pick up lunch and the server, short lady, not the one who is normally there. Was literally talking on the phone the whole time I’m ordering my food. What bothered me is that I asked for sauce on the side but being she’s on the phone she apparently didn’t hear me and poured the sauce on the food. I lacked to check and once I get back to my destination my sweet and sour chicken is all soggy. Get off your phone be professional so you can pay attention to what is being asked from the customer.”

“This was such a great experience at Boba Time La Palma! I ordered the X-Large Brown Sugar Milk with Boba and egg pudding—absolutely delicious. Perfectly sweet, creamy, with soft chewy boba and smooth egg pudding that made it even better. Definitely a 5-star drink, I’ll be coming back for more!”
