Been coming to Mr Lees for 15 years. Over on Artesia and now at the new location. Anything I disliked at the old location was corrected at the new location. Serve yourself sides is a hallelujah for me. This place is Fire ?
I like the old Mr Lee on South and Norwalk better. Other than because it was cheaper, there are some things in the new location that needs a bit of improvement.It could have been just during the time when we visited, but the meat was chewy. I think it was the brisket.I like that they have more side dishes. However, I think the buffet area is too far especially for those seated close to the entrance. They know how to do business. I mean we cook our own meats and get up to pick our own side dishes. Paying them to cook and prepare our own food.I'm just saying, a good concept to open this kind of buisness.Found out that Mr Lee moves here from Cerritos location, I'm not sure if this is true but upon tasting the mash potato, it tasted like one.Still affordable from the rest of kbbq.Side dishes include miso soup, salad, fried chicken, beef dumpling, and more.
