Everything was still good but miss the extended baked goods. And parking is still bad... The nitro has deep chocolatey tones, texture is more watery than Starbucks or devotion our favorite place in nyc that needs to come to La. The Americano with a fruity bean was good. Also tried the drip which was too dark for me but I let someone who loves dark coffee try it and it was “excellent”. Looks like a cool place to stop in and do some work peaceful vibes.“

“the coffee at this place is AMAZING you can tell they really care to make your drink well and aren’t using the basic syrups you can buy at the grocery store that every cafe seems to use these days. Although this place is TINY so not really a spot to expect to find a lot of seating if at all, the coffee is to die for. the organic milks and ingredients are delicious. i came here before a hot yoga class and was NOT disappointed. i’ll be coming back more often.“

I was there for about 10 minutes talking with the barista and she was so nice and knowledgeable about their business. Let me try some of the cream soda which is A+ made in house child nostalgia. Need to bring my mom back there with me.“

“I came here right before closing (annoying, I know) looking for a chocolate bar I saw online called The Conscious Bar. Came for the chocolate, stayed for the story. I asked the owner too many questions about the shop and she patiently answered all of them explaining her vision is more than just to run a successful cafe but also to be a light in this community. I'll be coming back to try all the patries. It was very clean and comfortable inside too. Like an Oasis in the wilderness that is Valley View and Rosecrans.

UPDATE: I got the bottled honey oat latte and that was really good. Being lactose intolerant, it was nice to have something dairy free ready to grab and go instead of having to special-order it.

Also tried the blueberry cream cheese Cruffin. This is refrigerated because of the cream cheese I think. Cold croissants aren't usually that good, but this was light enough to enjoy cold and it has already been devoured, would get it again, but probably better with a hot drink. I bought a few more of the Conscious Bar chocolate bars.“
