Appu's Turmeric Cafe is a hidden gem serving vegan/vegetarian Indian Mexican fusion. The food is delicious, fresh, and healthy, with no-oil, no-sugar options that are good for you. The staff is warm and hospitable, and the owner is thoughtful and a sweet heart. The restaurant is clean and well decorated, with an open kitchen. There are a few tables and cozy booth style seating, and lots of free self parking. The mix and match tacos are yummy; the turmeric potato taco stood out most, and the paneer tikka tacos are delicious. The vegan mushroom masala comes with a side of yellow rice and is yummy with a bit of spiciness. The vegan yellow lentil soup is very flavorful, and the mango Lassi is insanely good. Highly recommend the gulab Janum, the quesorito, any of the burritos, and samosas with chutney. The Thali was so good. Everything is made fresh to order, and prices are reasonable. A great spot for a unique, healthy meal.
