“I've been craving skewers and this place hit the spot!! We got their early around 6pm and there was no wait. Got seated right away.

We ordered the beef, lamb, and chicken skewers along w some buns, golden soup and topped it off with dessert durian pizza.
I couldnt give it a 5 stars for the food because I felt like the lamb skewers could have been better. There was a lot of fat and being that the skewers are very small, each bite should be meat of lamb not fat. But overall the food was good and it tempt my craving.

The price overall was high. I managed to rack the bill over $150 n that's just with 3 of us. So be prepared. 😄“

“I dropped by to try the skewers. I ordered a pitcher of beer to go with them. I got the beef vessel, tendon and intestine as well as the lamb, pork belly and chicken gizzard. It was fun watching them rotate on the grill automatically. They have some games you can play to win prizes.

The service was good. I think there was mainly one person handling the tables and he was very efficient.

There's no parking lot. I had no issues finding free parking in the neighborhood.“

“Had this place bookmarked for a while and finally went to try it out. Skewers were quite yummy and they had a wide selection. They cook it and bring it to you. Flavors were good and meat not overcooked. The cucumbers were good and hubs really liked the shredded potatoes, but we really enjoyed the lamb dough drop soup! It was a good grease cutter lol and delicious too! Very different! Was extra good when I squeezed some lime into it. I loved the ambiance, the constant changing scenes kept me entertained! “Went here yesterday and had a pretty good experience.The BBQ tasted really good and the meat was flavorful.Service was nice and the food came out fresh.The atmosphere was okay, could be a little better,but overall I enjoyed it and would come back again.You guys must try their signature big grilled oysters with garlic,super flavorful and definitely one of the best things on the menu.“

“They were not joking when they called this comfort food. I was sick, and it was raining, so I wanted something warm and hearty. This place seemed like the obvious choice, and far exceeded my expectations. Food came out fast and blistering hot, but still perfect temperature to eat right away. It was somehow nostalgic, even though it was my first time trying this dish. The tofu was extremely soft, but held its shape well, and very flavorful from absorbing the liquid. It really felt like it cured by illness.

Portion size was also very generous, which is always important. The menu was also pretty varied, I could imagine coming back multiple times and trying something new each time.“

“Shrinkflation is real, haven't been here since 2019, but they're still quite tasty. Cash only, prices aren't as high as expected. You don't really need to talk to them if you prefer that, just fill in what you want on their menu and pay. Familiar HK fare but quite delicious“

“This was the first restaurant I. Isn't when I came to USA, almost 40 years ago, the I come back pregnant, my daughter later came pregnant as well, and now my granddaughter is 11 years old and we still coming, my hole family loves this place!!!!!“

“My go to spot for skewers. Fresh meat every time and the best tasting skewers in the area. I notice people complain about service but I personally love the laid back scene of skewer restaurants where you scan to order. Lady is very nice & servers are solid. Their dishes are very flavorful.

** update ** Almost a year later and this is still the best skewer restaurant in LA in terms of flavor of meat and quality of meat. I see a lot of negative reviews but I just don’t know how they’re saying the food isn’t palatable etc.“

“This restaurant was a go to place for my mom in the early morning cuz it opened at 8 am. The dim sums was decent but it lacked varieties so choices were limited. Almost all dim sums costed $5.28 per dish except few bbq n special items.

Parking: During weekend around lunch time, it was difficult to find parking nearby the restaurant.“
