Ningjie Jinzhou BBQ is a favorite Chinese BBQ spot in the entire LA area. The food is very authentic, with fresh meat every time and the best tasting skewers. The menu has a wide variety of options, including the best cucumber salad and great lamp skewers that taste amazing with a charcoal taste. The dishes are very flavorful, though the seasoning can be a bit salty and the spice is not strong. Some meat skewers taste the same; lamb skewers are just so so, and beef skewers are too hard to chew. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, with a nice lady and solid servers. The ambiance is nice, and the late night vibe is great. It is a one woman show with the owner working the front. This is the best skewer restaurant in LA for flavor and quality of meat, with multiple options for those not into beef and lamb skewers.
