“Omakase by Osen , a traditional Japanese dining experience where the chef selects the dishes for you, offers a truly unique and personalized approach to sushi and Japanese cuisine. This restaurant brings the authentic art of omakase to life, and it's clear that the chefs take immense pride in their craft.
From the moment you step inside, Omakase by Osen exudes a warm, minimalist ambiance with a modern twist. Soft lighting, wood accents, and clean lines create an inviting, intimate atmosphere that feels both high-end and welcoming. The staff are professional, attentive, and knowledgeable, with a deep understanding of the ingredients used. They are eager to explain each dish and offer pairing suggestions, which enhances the experience for diners unfamiliar with Japanese culinary traditions.
The food is, without a doubt, the star of the show. The menu reflect the freshest, in-season ingredients, and the chefs craft each dish with precision and care. The sushi is exceptional, each piece is an artful masterpiece. The fish is impeccably fresh, often sourced directly from top-tier fish markets, and the rice is perfectly seasoned. Highlights include buttery, melt-in-your-mouth toro, delicate sea bream, and rich uni. The accompanying garnishes and sauces are thoughtfully balanced, never overpowering the natural flavors of the seafood.
Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Japanese cuisine.“

“Came w three and ordered one serving of bulgogi beef and shared 2 orders of the cold noodle dongcheeme . Bulgogi was flavorful and juicy on the kbbq grill , side dishes were really good , the green onion salad was fresh, and the cold noodles broth was so refreshing on a hot la day. Service was decent . I will come back here just for the bulgogi (very generous portion) and the noodle soup“

“Great qualities of meat selection and a bunch of other types of excellent qualities of food. Definitely a place to go to celebrate and for special occasions. The beef, especially the galbi, the shrimp, takoyaki, and everything is fantastic. We can grab most of the food and the premium food came out very fast. Will definitely come back.“

“If you’re looking for a unique and delicious take on KBBQ, look no further! The duck here is so good, and the service is incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful for first timers. Make sure you save room for the duck fat fried rice at the end; you’ll want to eat every last bite (although I hear it’s delicious as leftovers too :))
Parking: Free street parking and limited parking lot spots“

“Love this place! The food is very authentic and high quality meat. The servers are also very tentative. We ordered the small beef combo. The soup at the end is very tasty but we are way too full. It can serve at least 3-4 ppl. Def recommended!“

“We ate inside at the counter and tried a little bit of a few things off the menu. The sweet & spicy fried chicken and fried chicken dumplings were delicious. 😋🍴 We also tried the bulgogi and spicy chicken bowl and both were so delicious. As a side note, the man that waited on us (not sure if it was the owner or not) was very nice and hospitable. ☺️“

“Have eaten a ton of Korean BBQ over time and was still blown away with most every item I tried here. It took little changes to traditional dishes to truly blow me away; who knew that subtle seafood additions could so boldly change the flavors of a sundubu jiggae, or the marinade off a perfectly cooked gopchang with a subtle sweetness and roasted garlic cooked be so perfectly cooked. The banchan was all geared toward pairing with our combo meal and these various options to try all excited my taste buds greatly. Not only was the food great but the service was top notch. We came and dined on a quiet afternoon so had very timely service and really appreciated our experience here.“

“This place has received a lot of media hype and I recently checked it out. Totally awesome. I’ve had Tlayudas, a Oaxacan specialty, but none of them
compare to Ponchos. The blue corn tortilla was perfect,
as was the filling. I had the blood sausage, which was excellent.
The place is chill and the crowd was cool. A real winner!
Vegetarian options: They have a veggie tlayuda.“

“Big Ants BBQ is hands down my top pick for getting BBQ in the Los Angeles area!
I'm always surprised by how few people I hear talking about Big Ants, compared to some of the more hyped spots!
Every time I come to Big Ants, the service is super fast and efficient, the food is generously sized and delicious, and the prices are really good (especially for LA)!!
A few of my favorite items on the menu here include the Pull Pork Sandwich - it's big, thick, and yummy to chow down on. The Mac-N-Cheese here is also SO creamy, cheesy, and rich!
Other sides I often get include the Cole Slaw and/or Macaroni Salad, both of which are lighter, fresh additions to the meats and always tasty as well.
I highly recommend trying out Big Ants BBQ if you haven't yet. It's also a great take-out option, we pop into it from time to time when craving some good ol' BBQ, place an order to go, and it's always ready almost right away!
Don't miss out on this underrated Barbecue spot in LA!“

“Hanu BBQ is fantastic. I've been here three times and each time the food is great. They take reservations for large groups and there's a karaoke place right next door, for an easy night out. There are cute little robots that bring you your food too.
Nina and Mark were both amazing- very attentive and even taught us how to make somaek. Would definitely recommend this place as a great option for a group outing.“

“I used to eat here for lunch at least once a week with my several co-workers and we loved it. Then due to our office relocation and other events, I have stopped coming until several days ago after more than 8 years, and the foods here are still outstanding as well as the services. Definitely will come back more often going forward with my family.“

“The best AYCE Korean bbq restaurant. Meat quality is top-notch. They grill the meat for you but still allow you to enjoy the food at your own speed. I tried almost every meat and my favorite is the marinated beef rib with bone. It melted in my mouth. I love it and will come back.👍🏻“

“I've been to Pigya twice now, and it was delicious both times! Make a reservation so you know you have a spot but on our last visit there was enough room so you would have been fine without one. Meat is delicious and perfectly cooked by our server...sides are also good and plentiful if you need more! Cannot recommend it enough!
Parking is K-Town is awful so valet if you can or Uber/Lyft.
Vegetarian options: Don't come to a Korean bbq place if you don't eat meat.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp for chairs and walkers if needed.“

“Came on a Thursday around 8pm. Not crowded at all. Took a pre-visit gander at the online menu and decided I was definitely trying the brisket deviled eggs, if nothing else! Wow, they were thee most creative deviled eggs I've ever had. I would have never thought to pair feta cheese with it. Delicious. They need to just go ahead and give you the other half of the 3rd egg so you won't have to fight your dining partner for the odd 5th half on the plate. We cut ours in half haha. Also tried the BBQ flavor wings, turkey California Cobb salad and a brisket salad. The wings are huge, delicious and you get 12 in an order. Brisket salad was flavorful. Thinly chopped napa cabbage as the main green was a bit unusual but still tasty and crunchy. Turkey Cobb salad had moist and delicious smoked turkey and generous sprinkles of blue cheese. Service was friendly and attentive. Definitely returning to explore other menu items and sides!
Parking: Unless you don't mind circling the block a few times looking for metered/free curb parking, there are plenty of paid lots to choose from.“

“Good, solid spot for Chinese bbq skewers. You cook/serve yourself, except for certain dishes like the cumin lamb.
Pretty solid spot if you’re in the mood for this kinda food. Nothing I’d highly recommend to people but good for what it is.
You don’t get a lot of Chinese bbq skewers spots, so it’s a unique experience“

“I had the spicy chicken bowl twice this week. It tastes excellent. There's onions, bell pepper, and sesame seeds to go along with the rice and chicken. My only feedback is that there must be a lot of oil in the recipe because my tummy was rumbling less 8hrs later. I'd have it again but definitely ask for light oil.“
“Parks2Go has been our go-to spot whenever we have a large gathering at home. Not only is the meat quality as phenomenal as eating at the restaurant, but they ensure everything is packed up well with ice for travel. Sauce, kimchi and banchans are fantastic.
They even saved our Thanksgiving dinner this year with delivering the missing LA Galbi from our order. ❤️Parks and their amazing staff!!“
