Their wagyu cuts are 100% top-grade and not just random "wagyu" that are below the marks. We tried their A5 and M9 meats, not to mention their salmon carpaccio that is to die for. Their sides are absolutely delicious and smart, one great example is their fried pork buns that is like a spin on soup dumplings. To top it off, you get premium ice cream in the end. Their salad is so good with yuzu and smokey salt, plus you get a chili mix too. “This is the best BBQ I’ve had in LA. Tried for the first time yesterday - had the brisket and ribs and both were fantastic. Brisket was incredibly tender and the ribs were as well. Mac and Cheese was rich and delicious, greens had a little bite which is a perfect contrast to the richness of everything else we had. Delicious BBQ sauce, enjoyed the sweet slightly more than the spicy but both were great. I can’t wait to come back and try more sides.

“I went here for the first time on a Monday evening. The service was really good and on point on this day. Staff was always checking on us, always making sure our stove was clean or removing finished dishes. I got us the Deluxe meal. The spicy baby octopus was good. The gyōza dumplings and egg rolls were really good. They have sushi as well. Their menu can be accessed by QR code or you can ask for a physical menu.“

When they ask if you want spicy, they're asking if you want jalapeno slices. Do it. It's a mild kick at best.

“Great kbbq place with fresh ingredients and a wide variety of side dishes. They don’t have AYCE here, only combinations — I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of food for the one we got. The kimchi fried rice was good, and the meats were all very fresh and tasted delicious with the accompanying sauces. The servers were also more involved in the meat grilling, even for those of us who had experience kbbq before. They also had fun robots around to bring out and take away dishes. “Absolutely delicious! I decided to try this place today and I'm immediately reviewing to get people to support this local gem. I had the tofu vegetable combo plate and it was tasty as hell. The tofu was soft, the veggies had the perfect bite, and the brown sauce was well seasoned. The entire dish was warm and light enough that I almost cleaned my plate despite it being so satisfying. This place says they’re the masters of barbecue. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. They grill and make everything to order and I got their lamb chops plate, pastrami sando, and wagyu beef shawarma to try. They even gave me and my grandma these Armenian drinks we’ve never tried. I tried their cherry one which tasted like real and not artificial cherry juice. My grandma tried this like mango lemon soda and said it was refreshing. But anyways, The lamb chops were drizzled with a sweet lightly acidic balsamic glaze, weren’t gamey, and had good grill flaves. It also came with a bright, cilantroy tabouleh salad, a bit hard rice, fresh tomatoes and some pickles. The pastrami sando came with savory umami grilled pastrami, nuttty lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and creamy white sauce all on a crispity crunchity panini pressed bread. The wagyu shawarma was my fave and had a crispity crunchity lavash, plenty of tender meaty meat, juicy tomato, nutty lettuce, crunchy pickles, and had some more of that creamy sauce. They also came with some crunchy tangy pickled cabbage and side sauces that paired really well with everything. The green one was bright and cilantory while the white one was creamy and garlicy. Everything tasted pretty quality and fresh. Overall this place is lowkey pretty good.

The prices have gone up, but if you're craving dongchimi noodles and meat,
this is the place to go. The meat is all delicious, but the prices have gone up significantly compared to before, so you'll have to settle for beef tongue or Gilmok Gui. It's a place you'll return to for the taste.“

“Stopped by T-Kebob for a late dinner after work and it hit the spot perfectly. The food was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying — exactly what you want at the end of a long day. The kebabs were well-seasoned and cooked just right, and the portions were generous.

“There was such a long wait here on a Sunday night, but it was totally worth it. Little Skewer is my favorite place to get skewers. Once you step inside, you’ll understand why it takes forever to get a table - you won’t want to leave! The atmosphere of the restaurant seems specifically curated to create the perfect environment for eating and drinking. Beers were BOGO. Chinese wines were served in tea pots and dainty little saucers. Beneath the tavern lights, a lounge singer sweetly serenades the diners through the huge karaoke machine at the front of the store.

Service is mostly done yourself through an iPad. You place your own order through the system and workers bring the food out to you.

Meats such as beef and lamb skewers are ordered in batches of 10 and will most likely make up the bulk of your skewers, but there are many other types of additional skewers to choose from. An unexpected favorite for me was the king oyster mushroom skewers. I don’t even like mushrooms, but these king oyster mushrooms were irresistible. Biting into the springy flesh was so satisfying. The spicy, vibrant flavors and juiciness made my mouth water and crave more. The scallops, served in their shells with glass noodles, garlic, scallions, and chili paste, were addictive enough to pound back like shots. I also really liked the chicken skin skewers because the crispiness provided a nice contrast to the other dishes. And I liked the pineapple sausage so much that I ordered two.

“Tasty food, generous servings, below average prices. My wife and I had the roast duck noodle soup. Tasty duck, lots of nice noodles, I think it was Chinese broccoli cooked tender. Broth was okay. Lots of takeout traffic. Not where I would take a first date, run down. Service was okay. Decent parking in the lot. I'd go again for the food. Takeout is ideal. Lots of other menu choices to try. We stopped by for lunch on December 9th and ordered numerous dishes. We ordered shrimp fried rice $18, sweet and sour chicken $19, chicken chow mein Hong Kong style (crispy noodles) $18, and the seafood tofu hot pot $21 , plus the must have hot tea.

“We are BBQ folks. We smoke our own and have traveled the country trying different spots. There is so much that goes into BBQ. For those of us who truly love it; it's an art form and science of cuts, color, bark, brine -- the whole deal. We've experienced much of the local (Southern California) flavor and have found a few spots that excel. We moved up to Pasadena recently and were Yelping to see if there was a BBQ spot up here that we could try. When we came upon Mission I was skeptical. It didn't make sense that a BBQ spot would do catering and weekend farmer's market stuff. The only way to see if the reviews were legit was to give it a shot. We found the location at the farmer's market tucked away and because we were late in the day, had to pick from the meats that were left. Ribs, brisket, mac & cheese -- and the two sauces they stocked (mild & spicy). Our order was bundled and we brought it home and launched into the meal. Brisket -- soft, moist, flavorful. Brisket is not easy to cook. It can get dry and -- sometimes greasy from the fat. This was none of that. It was excellent -- some of the best ever. 5/5!!! Ribs -- very good. Solid. My personal perfect-preference is ribs that are just a touch less moist -- but we are talking the difference between 98/100 or 94/100. They were solid. Great flavor. Mac & Cheese. Excellent. Texture, color, flavor, taste -- all outstanding. 5/5!!! Sauce. We had a cup of each of their offerings: spicy and mild. Each had a lovely smokey flavor. The spicy had a nice kick without blowing the back out of your throat. Again -- this is a little nitpicky, but we find the perfect sauce to be a touch less sticky. We've had great first meals and horrible second meals at certain spots and horrible first meals and great second meals. We like to try the food several times before writing reviews so we ordered again for another experience. This time we added baked beans, burnt ends, and smoked chicken to the meal. Second time was exactly as great as the first time. Everything was solid, solid, solid. Now -- the thing that gives Mission six-stars is the folks behind the food. These people are dedicated to making a contribution to the world through food as few are. They are kind, generous, dedicated -- truly amazing!!!! “I was driving down Whittier Boulevard. On the corner of Whittier Blvd and Rancho drive. I smelled some barbecue it caught my attention quick like. Luckily I hadn't had dinner yet so I stopped and got a $20 plate. It was stacked with meat. It had tri-tip, chicken, and ribs. Smoked to perfection. The plate included a side of Mac and Beans. I also had two tacos. All the meats are full of flavor, tender and juicy. If you're in the area and you enjoy barbecue I highly recommend this spot.“
