“Highly commendable service and absolutely stunning set menu! we went here for dinner last night for our Halloween date night! Their wagyu cuts are 100% top-grade and not just random "wagyu" that are below the marks. We tried their A5 and M9 meats, not to mention their salmon carpaccio that is to die for. Their sides are absolutely delicious and smart, one great example is their fried pork buns that is like a spin on soup dumplings. To top it off, you get premium ice cream in the end. Their salad is so good with yuzu and smokey salt, plus you get a chili mix too. They serve the meats fast plus your tablet menu is in front of you so you don't have to keep calling the staff to refill. I give them 9 stars! 🌟 🐄 🥩“

“Came here for dinner on Sunday night and there was no wait. The Chinese BBQ here is legit. I love the roast duck and the roast pork best. Very good flavor, crispy skin. We got the dumpling noodle soup, which was pretty decent. The garlic stir-fry ong choy needed a bit more garlic and the Mongolian beef was okay. The meat quality was good but the flavor was average and felt like it needed a bit more heat. Portion size is decent and prices were fair. Great fast casual restaurant.“

“I give 4 stars for overall, but it is only 2.5 stars for their chicken katsu. They used to make a very good chicken katsu because honestly that is the only menu that I order before for so many years. But lately it has become the worst item, in my opinion. Why? I suspect in order to maximize profit, they use thinner slice of meat, so it is easily over-fried and becomes hard to chew, like eating a piece of wood. Cut the time of frying a little bit so it comes out perfect, please. Other menu has been consistent though.“

“Been meaning to hit this place, but always pass them up. Glad I stopped by, they got some good eats here. Tried the Vamipro with bistec and potato. Nice and crispy hand made tortilla. Potatos were healthy cut pieces and soft. Also had the Guisado sampler and man they are not shy with the servings. I definitely recommend the sampler plate if you are wanting to try the different options of guisados. For this location early is better as they do sell out of items on the early side. They also have restaurant where you can get there goods as well.“

“Joshua was our server tonight and he was AMAZING! My friend and I came in for dinner pretty late, around 9–10 PM, and he still made the whole experience feel so welcoming and special. He was super polite, friendly, attentive, and he cooked everything perfectly for us. The food was delicious and the service honestly made the night even better.

Also, I have to mention this because it made me smile the entire time 😂 Josh totally reminded me of Chrollo from Hunter x Hunter, which was such a fun bonus.

“This place is perfect if you want to get some great food and go. Not set up for sit and eat, but they had I’m eating area outside with some tables and chairs. The hot barbecue sauce, I would call Pasadena hot, but amazing flavor. Glad I did not have to drive all the way to LA to get this food. The lady at the counter, I wish I got her name, but she was amazingly sweet, and rolled with my silly jokes.“

“Absolutely amazing BBQ!!! Nothing was regular or ordinary. The brisket was so tender and tasty and the Blue Masa Cornbread was to die for! Melts in your mouth! And don’t forget the Cole Slaw which deserves capital letters!! The Mac and Cheese (not like any you’ve ever had!) was comped by our new friend who was our ordering coach and it stole the show!! “Hungry Bird is new in town, and I’m lucky enough to live just a few blocks away. This was my first visit, and I loved it! Everything looked and tasted delicious. They have chicken, beef, seafood, and pork skewers, plus noodles and sushi rolls. I came for the skewers, and I’d definitely come back to try more.

“This is a delicious Chinese restaurant! Staff were really friendly and helpful. Parking is very limited because it is on a tiny lot but I came early so parking wasn't an issue. It appears there is free street parking. The food was amazing and reasonably priced. I had the Cheung fun with peanuts, Cheung fun with egg, shrimp fried rice, this green dessert, and tofu wrapped around rice roll. Everything was delicious. Cheung fun and tofu wrapped around rice roll were my favorite. The Cheung fun was thin and the sauce was so delicious! The tofu was crispy and it had some garlic inside and it was so delicious. The waitress brought out an extra sauce for my Cheung fun without me asking. They were very attentive. Restaurant was also really clean. I live in Thousand Oaks but needed to come into this area for business and decided to give this place a try. Well worth it and I will be back again next time I am in town. I also purchased another Cheung fun with peanuts to go and my daughters loved it and they are picky eaters.“

“Just came by for a leisurely Labor Day early lunch and Manny did not disappoint. We ordered two #3 combos, so 6 meats and 8 sides for 4 people. We had the brisket, tri-tip, beef ribs, baby back ribs, pulled pork, and the chicken. For the sides, we had 3 smoked beans, potato salad, 2 cole slaw, and 2 mac salads. It was nothing short of a feast! The meats were well-smoked, flavorful, juicy, and Manny was as kind as he was generous and attentive. He threw in 4 free sodas, free bread, a free side (we went with an extra cole slaw), and threw on a free kielbasa as well! We couldn't finish everything and the food we took home would easily make for an extra meal for all of us. We drove all most an hour, in the rain, from Torrance; this was not our first dining experience here, and it was just this kind of generosity and service that we experienced the first time that brought us back and will continue bringing us back as long as he stays in business.

“Inside the Whittier Brewing Company, it's a small food hall with individual vendors. You order at a counter. Hours vary by day until they sell out. Go early as brisket & sausages sell out quickly, especially with World Cup watch parties held in hall.

“I've always seen this restaurant on the corner passing by and always wanted to try it out. I came into order for takeout and got my food in less than 2 minutes. “Updated: I've been to this spot for years and it's still excellent. The base price is $32.99 but if you go at non-peak times you can save money. I still think you can get a great deal at that price point. Efficient service and great food as always.

WONDERFUL! This was my first all you can eat Korean BBQ experience. We came at 7pm and was ahead of the Saturday rush crowd, so we were seated right away. They have two price points with $22pp for the regular menu, which we opted for, because it had over 20 options on it! They bring you 3 selections at a time, and after you order more, the selection portions are halved so you don't waste food. Every single piece of meat was delicious, but the Beef Bulgogi and the Brisket were my favorites. The shrimp were a little hard to eat because they were on the small side and hard to pull the shell off. They also have 2 stations with hot items (appetizers, glass noodles/vegetables, mushroom/broccoli, wings, soup) and cold items (salad, onion/mushrooms for cooking, lettuce wraps, fruit).

The service was good, but they were incredibly busy in taking care of everyone. They were a good team and looked out if we needed a new grill plate, or if were ready to put in more orders.

But for me, the real standouts were the grilled fish, the charcoal BBQ, and the sweet and sour pork (Guo Bao Rou). Those dishes had the authentic flavors I grew up with.
