Max City BBQ Reviews
One of the BEST BBQ'S in Los Angeles!
My family loves it. Their links are amazing. So is their tri tip sandwich, brunch, and sides
A tasty BBq joint recommended by a friend. I stopped by for a late lunch on the weekend. The menu had plenty of options for BBq lovers. I got the brisket platter with two sides. There were two BBQ options on the table, mild and spicy. My order was brought out quickly and devoured almost as fast.

Max City BBQ, located in Eagle Rock on Eagle Rock Boulevard, is a small hole-in-the-wall restaurant known for its excellent food and good service. Specializing in chicken, beef, and pork dishes, they offer delicious brisket and pulled pork with homemade BBQ sauce. The food is highly praised, with many customers finding it fresh, tender, and juicy, often not needing any sauce. The atmosphere is cozy, featuring seating at the bar and inside, along with a beautiful back patio adorned with string lights, perfect for a laidback date. Customers enjoy the friendly and attentive service, which adds to the welcoming experience. The restaurant offers a variety of meals, including specials like the DineLA sampler that includes ribs, chicken, port brisket, and sausage, which many find excellent. The portions are generous, and the pricing is fair for the quality of the BBQ. While parking may be limited and the sign not very visible, the flavorful macaroni and cheese, homemade potato salad, and tasty coleslaw complement the main dishes well. The Thanksgiving dinner options, such as the smoked 14-pound turkey and superb cornbread muffins, make it a worthwhile visit. Overall, Max City BBQ remains a homey place highly recommended for both takeout and in-house dining.
