“Highly commendable service and absolutely stunning set menu! we went here for dinner last night for our Halloween date night! Their wagyu cuts are 100% top-grade and not just random "wagyu" that are below the marks. We tried their A5 and M9 meats, not to mention their salmon carpaccio that is to die for. Their sides are absolutely delicious and smart, one great example is their fried pork buns that is like a spin on soup dumplings. To top it off, you get premium ice cream in the end. Their salad is so good with yuzu and smokey salt, plus you get a chili mix too. They serve the meats fast plus your tablet menu is in front of you so you don't have to keep calling the staff to refill. I give them 9 stars! 🌟 🐄 🥩“

“Absolutely amazing BBQ!!! Nothing was regular or ordinary. The brisket was so tender and tasty and the Blue Masa Cornbread was to die for! Melts in your mouth! And don’t forget the Cole Slaw which deserves capital letters!! The Mac and Cheese (not like any you’ve ever had!) was comped by our new friend who was our ordering coach and it stole the show!! “This is a delicious Chinese restaurant! Staff were really friendly and helpful. Parking is very limited because it is on a tiny lot but I came early so parking wasn't an issue. It appears there is free street parking. The food was amazing and reasonably priced. I had the Cheung fun with peanuts, Cheung fun with egg, shrimp fried rice, this green dessert, and tofu wrapped around rice roll. Everything was delicious. Cheung fun and tofu wrapped around rice roll were my favorite. The Cheung fun was thin and the sauce was so delicious! The tofu was crispy and it had some garlic inside and it was so delicious. The waitress brought out an extra sauce for my Cheung fun without me asking. They were very attentive. Restaurant was also really clean. I live in Thousand Oaks but needed to come into this area for business and decided to give this place a try. Well worth it and I will be back again next time I am in town. Service is ok. You order on the QR code anyway. Skewers are 4 for $7.99, which is on the pricier side imo. I loved the lamb soup. It was a big bowl for $14.99. I also got the spicy vermicelli $14.99, which had a lot of fatty meat. It was good but could have been spicier.

I didn’t like that I had to ask for the bbq seasoning. I think they should just keep it at every table.

I think I might have missed the white buns on the menu? I would have liked to order that. I also want to try the shredded potato dish next time!

“This was one of the best all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ spots I've been to. The meat was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly every time we ordered. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we always had everything we needed. The restaurant was clean and had a great atmosphere for dining with friends and family. “Rodney's ribs are the Truth. I moved to Pasadena recently. I've had Q at Dreamland in Alabama, 12 Bones in North Carolina, Franklin's in Austin, Corky's in Memphis and Hecky's in Chicago, and this is some of the most righteously smoked meat I've ever had. Thank you, Rodney.“

Went for the hot pot & BBQ buffet combo. You can pick one broth or go with a double/triple split. Lots of options on the buffet line.

A few standouts:
- Argentine red shrimp – plump, firm, with a nice snap
- Frog legs – surprisingly huge
- Oysters – fat and briny
- Grilled eggplant – soft and fully soaked in garlic sauce; every bite was pure flavor
- Grilled shrimp and grilled chicken skin– also really good

The sauce station was clean, and sodas are self-serve. They're open until 1 or 2 AM – perfect for late-night cravings.“

“This Chinese skewers place is a great place to eat at. Their variety of skewers both in meat and veggie are diverse. They also have a mild and spicy version (mala) and a none spicy for all levels of enjoyment. The spicy sliced potato, corn cheese and enoki mushrooms were great. Their Sapporo pitcher special for $10 was also a great deal.

Overall the meat and marinade was great and the special items such as chicken heart and pork skin was crispy and good. The service was decent if you waived the staff down. We got all our orders in a timely manner. The vibe is kind of loud but enjoyable time with friends and family. Bring a shirt you don't care to smell as the cooking will stick onto your clothes.“

We were given a free sample of the ribs while we were waiting and they were delicious too! “We’ve lived in Glendale for many years where kabobs are a dime a dozen, however Hamlet’s kitchen has some of the best Lula around. The plates come with rice, lavash, a pepper, onions and sometimes tomato and the portions are enough to share between two people. They only accept cash and the prices are a little steep, but the food is always excellent. Some note the staff to be rude, but I’m guessing that’s the language barrier vs them purposely being rude, our experiences and interactions have been pleasant.“

“We are BBQ folks. We smoke our own and have traveled the country trying different spots. There is so much that goes into BBQ. For those of us who truly love it; it's an art form and science of cuts, color, bark, brine -- the whole deal. We've experienced much of the local (Southern California) flavor and have found a few spots that excel. We moved up to Pasadena recently and were Yelping to see if there was a BBQ spot up here that we could try. When we came upon Mission I was skeptical. It didn't make sense that a BBQ spot would do catering and weekend farmer's market stuff. The only way to see if the reviews were legit was to give it a shot. We found the location at the farmer's market tucked away and because we were late in the day, had to pick from the meats that were left. Ribs, brisket, mac & cheese -- and the two sauces they stocked (mild & spicy). Our order was bundled and we brought it home and launched into the meal. Brisket -- soft, moist, flavorful. Brisket is not easy to cook. It can get dry and -- sometimes greasy from the fat. This was none of that. It was excellent -- some of the best ever. 5/5!!! Ribs -- very good. Solid. My personal perfect-preference is ribs that are just a touch less moist -- but we are talking the difference between 98/100 or 94/100. They were solid. Great flavor. Mac & Cheese. Excellent. Texture, color, flavor, taste -- all outstanding. 5/5!!! Sauce. We had a cup of each of their offerings: spicy and mild. Each had a lovely smokey flavor. The spicy had a nice kick without blowing the back out of your throat. Again -- this is a little nitpicky, but we find the perfect sauce to be a touch less sticky. We've had great first meals and horrible second meals at certain spots and horrible first meals and great second meals. We like to try the food several times before writing reviews so we ordered again for another experience. This time we added baked beans, burnt ends, and smoked chicken to the meal. Second time was exactly as great as the first time. Everything was solid, solid, solid. Now -- the thing that gives Mission six-stars is the folks behind the food. These people are dedicated to making a contribution to the world through food as few are. They are kind, generous, dedicated -- truly amazing!!!! Judith and her family are the kind of folks I want to invite over to have the food we just bought from them!!! Wonderful, wonderful people!! Thank you so much Mission!!!!
