“Celebrated a birthday. 1st time here. 1st peeps there at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Sabrina was amazing. overall, the team was fun and in good spirits. Brisket the best, although not on brunch menu-have to try mac & cheese. Brunch provides lots of tasty options. Eggs and potatoes best when fresh. The pasole and chiliquilies bar tasty. Ribs, brisket, tri tip...homemade sausage breakfast tacos...25 bottomless mimosas w various flavors. Got packed after awhile. Has tvs for sports enjoyment and patio. Must go!Parking: Parking lot across street, meter parking on street“
“We tried the diamond set. The meat quality of the 1st round was really good. But the quality of a5 wagyu was not as good after the 1st round. Sweet shrimp was not that fresh, and the steam egg portion was too big. The wagyu sandwich was not good at all and way too dried. Overall, it was a great experience.“
“Such a lovely place! My friend just moved to the neighborhood and we tried El Morfi out on his first night. So wonderful! The empanadas and sangria were particularly delicious. Though you really can't go wrong with anything you order. Definitely recommend!“
“Be prepared to spend some extra cash for a lunch outing. The line is long so if you don’t like to wait come on one of the weekdays that they are open. The food is good extra rich so beware if you’re the sensitive stomach or heartburn type. So try the key lime pie or the banana pudding because they will run out and it’s delicious!Overall, definitely save this place in your “want to goes”“
“Food was absolutely delicious !! Loved the Blondie wings and the Alabama white sauce (tastes like the mayo that you put on esquites and elotes). The fries were delicious too, not too salty and a little sweet. Also had some mac and cheese (it was bomb), and the brisket sandwich was really good too :-)!!“
“Server (I forgot to ask her name) made sure we get the best experience and food to eat. Thank you!Timuay Tri-beef and Adobo is a must try! Bibingka cornbread and ube flan.Parking would be a challenge (street parking). If you're looking for good Filipino food, this place is worth the visit! We will definitely be back for their microbrews (and food)Added to favorites :)“
“I usually go for the short ribs (which are phenomenal), but I thought I’d try the grilled garlic shrimp for a slightly healthier option. Unfortunately, like the other review said, it’s pretty nasty. They should call it “slightly battered jarred garlic shrimp” instead. The mac salad is delicious though.“
“Interior is small but parking is decent, and I think the food is hit or miss depending on what you order. But for the most part the fried chicken katsu is a good option; the bone in fried chicken that others seem to like was a little dry for me. There is a catering menu and seemingly they are a good option for gatherings. The owners work here and are very sweet Asian couple. They will always smile and engage in conversation with you. Top Restaurant has been in business for a long time so they are doing lots of things right!“
“The pulled park sandwich was immaculate. Served lightly sauced with a sweet and a spicy bbq on the side. The Cole slaw was so good - creamy, tangy and fresh. The service was swift and polite. I liked this place way better than Craft by fire and smoke, where I gave a bad review for the service. Cant wait to come back to Big Ant’s!“
“My boyfriend and I love this place. Staff: took good care of us and very helpful and were so polite and helped us out. Irene and jay? (Sorry I forgot his name) we're awesome! I hope I get one of them again. Place: it was very welcoming and the artwork is beautiful. Place and the restroom was top notch clean. Food: absolutely amazing! I don't know which one is my fav. Meat selection was superb "a kiss to the chef" Overall: I love it and look forward to going back“
“To start, everything was so delicious and fresh. The food was so delicious that we had about 7 different items off the menu because we had to try as much as possible. We had called ahead and told the owner group of 5 of us would be dining. Once we arrived we were immediately taken to our table. The owner had already set the table with a couple of starters. We had sliced goat cheese, Mediterranean salad, and yogurt with fresh bread. We were given some time to enjoy our starters before the main dishes started coming out. We had the perfect amount of time between each course to truly enjoy our time. One dish was more delicious than the next with the complex seasoning and spices. The owner of the restaurant checked on us once in a while, which I thought was really nice as well. The restaurant has its own parking in front of the. It also offers indoor and outdoor seating. I would highly recommend you give this restaurant a try. In my opinion, the best Mediterranean food I have had.“
“We came here on a weekday evening at around 6pm and had no wait. They have only one option for dining at this Chubby Cattle location, which is an AYCE menu including Wagyu, pork, seafood, appetizers like Wagyu tartare and salmon carpaccio, rice, sushi and soup. For $65.99 (non-member price) per person, you definitely get what you pay for here!“
“Always a quick stop for high quality food for a cheap price. Very friendly service and delicious and affordable options. A great choice for lunch or dinner on any night. My go-to is chicken teriyaki but Korean BBQ beef short ribs and Thai BBQ chicken are great options too.“
“First time back in a decade and well worth it. The service was fantastic: attentive. We ordered the blueberry cobbler and after informing us it was sold out they offered an option on the house. Cuts were good, the sauces were good, just wish they were spicier. A tad loud.“
“Food here was excellent! This was my first time trying Armenian food and gosh it was super good ! Service was good and the time to wait for food was pretty quick as well! The food itself is absolutely delicious. The place itself is a little small but regardless very clean and subtle. Highly recommend this place !“
“Dined here for lunch on Sunday, and I was so happy that my friends picked this restaurant! We started off with yukhoe (raw beef), a variety of pork dishes and seafood pancake. Everything tasted great, and staff members stopped by frequently to help us cook and enjoy the BBQ. It was crowded but we had no wait as we were there earlier for lunch.“
“This place is classic. Been coming here for over 10-15 years. Incredible pricing and very delicious.Vegetarian options: They have the ability to make you a veggie dish utilizing the same materials.Dietary restrictions: Build your own bowlKid-friendliness: Good spot for picky eatersWheelchair accessibility: Low riser. Building can be accessed by the parking lot“
“Food seems tasty. Had 1/4 pound brisket. It's juicy and flavorful. The fat cap well seasoned and flavored. The elote is pretty good; creamy and a slight hint of heat. Complimented with garlic toast. This is a taste test; we're looking into possible catering with them for thanksgiving lunch.“
“The foods were awesome, and my favorite was actually the chicken skin and pork intestine. The pork intestine wasn’t smelly like you get from other restaurants. The flavor of the chicken skin was sweet and crunchy. The food got here very fast and we finished all the food within an hour. It is a great place to gather up with friends!“
“Sakura Grill is a fantastic spot that deserves a solid 4 stars! What really stood out to me was the generous portions they offer. I mean, we're talking large portions here - especially their mouthwatering fried rice and perfectly grilled proteins paired with a variety of veggies. The unassuming location with street parking might throw you off, but don't let that deter you. This place is a hidden gem in El Monte. Plus, they're in the process of revamping their menu, so there are even more exciting things to look forward to. If you're craving a delicious meal that won't leave you hungry, Sakura Grill is the place to be.“
“I loved this place! The ambiance was really cool, they had a really good playlist to match the vibe. I liked how the lightening was fairly dim too. I had the brisket sandwich and fries, which was pretty good. I will say, the brisket was a bit salty but overall the meal was pretty good & well portioned. The fries and onion rings were bomb! Especially with the side of bbq sauce. The staff was really friendly offering great service as well. I look forward to going back and trying the banana pudding next time.“
“Small parking available, street parking too. Small indoor seating with bar and out door seating. Few beers on tap. Service was quick and friendly. Food was hot and delicious. The pulled pork sandwich was great. The ribs and chicken melted off the bone. All in all good experience.“
“This place was amazing for an inexperienced KBBQ'er. It was me and my partner (Chinese and White). The staff were so friendly and helped explain what dishes were and how to eat them. They also cooked the meat and sides for us so we didnt have to stress over that part for our first time. The owner ended up serving us due to the flow of people and Chris/Kris was amazing. She let us try the house made Lemon Soju and really solidified that we would be coming back. Our other server was amazing and she took care of us majority of the night, I didnt catch her name but I also forgot my card there and she caught up to me like half a block to give it back. So sweet and above and beyond. We got a plate of Brisket and Bulgogi with two Soju bottles peach and strawberry. The house lemon one was my favorite though and we will be getting it next time we go.We street parked and payed $1.25 until 8pm hit and didnt have to pay anymore.“

“Had reservations for Friday at 6:30 PM for 8 people. It was our first visit to Hawg Heaven BBQ. We were seated promptly. The service was efficient. Everyone commented on how tasty the dish they ordered: Pulled pork tacos, beef brisket sandwich, beef brisket plate, the combination plate (ribs, brisket). The evening was fun listening to crooner Douglas R. and eating BBQ.“
“Obsessed with this place for breakfast, I tried a little bit of everything (thanks to the people I went with). The pepper bacon, potatoes, waffles, raspberry lemon pancakes, sourdough toast. Everything was delicious! The service was great too.“
“First time at Rodney's. Tried the Brisket Sandwich. The brisket was perfectly cooked, nicely smokey and tender.I didn't like his style of BBQ sauce. It was too sweet for me. I may buy some brisket by the pound to make my own sandwich. Rodney is super friendly and really seems to care about getting it right. Professional.“
“Lovely atmosphere on the corner in downtown Glendale. I went straight for the dishes that I didn't recognize and was not disappointed. AMAZING pastry-wrapped savory dishes, Armenian wine, appetizers, and other drinks. Never had service this good in Glendale, Baglan was our server, SO gracious and helpful, answered all our questions and made perfect wine suggestions. You NEED to check this place out if you're tired of the same old Mediterranean dishes. Will return soon with friends and family!Kid-friendliness: I see kids and families here all the time.“
“What a delightful dining experience! The service here is friendly and efficient, making you feel like you've been welcomed into a Hawaiian home. The food is nothing short of amazing - the grilled pineapple with coconut shrimp was a revelation, and the macadamia nut pie was the perfect ending to our meal. The ambiance was a tropical dream, complete with tiki torches and the scent of plumeria in the air. This restaurant is a true oasis, and I can't wait to bring my friends and family back to share in the joy!“
“The staff was very sweet and patient, the food was incredible and the strawberry lemonade was great. The assistant manager Elijah was the best, he constantly checked in on us and made sure we were doing well. Would definitely recommend going here!“
“The people that my husband and have encountered at Sisig are truly some of the nicest people we have encountered. It’s always a delight to go in. We are in the area in business and I have to go and get a food and/or drinks for my husband and I. It’s enjoyable to go into the restaurant because of the people that work there .“
“I’m a fan. Lots of history here. This was also a filming location for the movie Bad Santa. The hotel IS haunted. But I don’t believe it is yet operational again. The Mayan is and it’s a really cool place. The staff is super friendly and engaging as well. Be sure to walk around and check out the pictures on the wall. Yes! They are from the 30s and 40s. Welcome to Old Route 66.“
“Best barbeque I've ever eaten. As a Texan, it's a shame I have to admit it's from California. The place is take-out only, but it's a great neighborhood so eating inside or on the hood of your car is no issue. Will definitely eat again the next time I'm in the area.“
“12.02.23 We were in the area and I googled Filipino food and this one was top three on options to consider. Service was the best - kind, caring, and really nice front counter reps. Plenty of combo options to choose from and pics on the side walls are pretty good help. Not exactly sure how to rate Atmosphere because the restaurant is inside 99 Ranch market. It's pretty clean eating area which is across the order area and past the spacious entrance.“
“Very tasty and flavorful. Pretty heavy though. Fries are good for the first few bites. Afterwards, need some sort of sauce. All burgers and sandwiches are generally good. The smash burger is affordable, and the patty is decent quality, but mine was a little bland and started breaking apart. Their briskets are decent -- tender and flavorful. Will definitely return.“
“I highly recommend this restaurant! The Grilled Pork Ribs were outstanding! The quality of the vegetable dishes exceeded my expectations-fresh, crisp and tasty. When looking for a simple but delicious meal Fork Over Pork is the place to be!!! Customer service-stellar.“
“Enjoyed the food here! The restaurant is really small and a hole in the wall spot. I also don't think it's the same as the other Little Skewer location but regardless, I liked the food. One downside is that they didn't serve alcohol when I went. Not a huge deal to me but their plates you eat on are disposable plates. They also don't give you the spices to dip your food in but the food was already well seasoned so it wasn't really necessary. Overall, the prices are really good and the flavor of each dish has lots of flavor so everything was delicious. The lamb, beef, squid, and chicken wings were good and all came out fresh. The oyster was also sizzling when it came out and it was huge. It comes in one piece and order but the oyster is literally the size of your hand. The mala tang had really good flavor but kinda wished there were more noodles inside.“
“First time here and the dishes we ordered were delicious! Mool naengmyun and bibim naengmyun with bul-gogi. (Cold noodles with broth, cold, spicy noodles and marinated beef). Korean restaurant choices in the La Crescenta, La Cañada, Tujunga and Montrose are just got a killer spot to check out. Looking forward to exploring more of their menu items in the future. Check the business hours. They close after lunch service and reopen for dinner. Parking is very tight.“
“I ordered Mission Barbeque for an extended family dinner after my grandson's birthday party on Saturday. The food was delivered and brought directly into the kitchen for me. Everything was delicious!! We loved the brisket and bbq chicken. The mac and cheese and coleslaw were really good too. Everyone commented on how good the food was. I highly recommend The Mission Barbeque!!“
“Apologies for not taking any photos but trust me when I say that the owner really cares about the dishes he puts out. As a sushi chef, he is a kind man who cares about the opinions of his customers. My sister and I decided to try the place out and we're pleasantly surprised by the kindness and the taste of the food.As for food, we ordered some sushi rolls, sashimi, and sashimi salad. The salad was my sister's favorite dish since the veggies paired well with the fatty taste of the fish. So fresh and lovely. A good balance of fish to salad. The dressing is what made it amazing for me. Gently drizzled with a sweet yet salty flavor made the dish really come together. As sushi goers we typically aren't fond of sashimi, usually when we go to sushi places, it has an odd aftertaste. But not this time. The sweet sauce made the tender fish melt into my mouth! I couldn't get enough of it. (I just kept eating and forgot to take pictures!) The sushi rolls were also delicious! Just enough to make you full and want to come back for more. What was best about this place really was the owner speaking with us. Initially when we walked in, there was no one to greet us and hardly anyone inside. So we thought the restaurant was closed. Although we saw an employee there so luckily we were able to be seated. After eating, the chef/owner came up to us to ask us a couple questions about the food and our experiences with Japanese dishes. We had a long discussion and ended up with more than just a happy meal, but with a good experience. The reason for this being 4 stars is because we did have to search for a host to seat us. And the selection menu didn't differentiate than many other sushi places. We did talk with the owner and gave him some ideas of how this could change so more clientele would stop by.(Also the name of this restaurant has changed. They only serve sushi and sashimi now, there's no BBQ anymore)“
“Great food in a fun and new atmosphere. They have the standard- yummy Thai dishes. We tried their Pad Thai and it was delicious. What makes this place stand out is the colorful atmosphere. From bright green and orange chairs to the "street fair" decor- it's a fun place to visit.“
“This place is absolutely the best. We now have two Hawaiian bbq restaurants in the same small area. This one has the hometown feel. It's the one that is family owned and worked! They don't have fancy leis but they have a huge menu, and really good food! If you want the hometown feel.. and yummy delicious food.. come try the best Hawaiian bbq in South Pasadena!“
“My recent visit to Oleego by Parks BBQ was nothing short of spectacular! The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff ensuring our dining experience was top-notch. The food was a carnivore's dream, with melt-in-your-mouth brisket and finger-licking ribs. The rustic yet cozy ambiance added to the overall charm of the place. A must-visit for all barbecue enthusiasts!“
“Great spot to buy skewers with fair prices and delicious flavors. The quality of the beef skewers, along with the tasty seasonings and spices will leave you satisfied! I prefer to order for pickup over dine-in due to the service and wait times, but this BBQ spot is an excellent late night choice for bigger groups.“
“Review for drinks only! It's been years since I have had monja taiker. I was nearby getting banh mi and decided to pop in to get a drink. I've only dined in once. But I have had their drinks many times. I got the black milk tea with boba. The drink was as creamy and delicious as I remember. There aren't many boba locations on this side of Garvey.“
“I've had tons and tons of bbq, including kbbq in Korea, multiple shabu shabus, etc., ever since I was a kid. There's something about this place, however, that is nothing short of magical and genuinely sets it apart for me. I don't know how to describe it - the marinated beef is like bulgogi but 3x better. And the soup is so so good!! Soup, rice, sweet potato porridge, green onions, and butter are all free. Tea is also provided free of charge. Prices are extremely reasonable, especially with a 15% discount for lunch. Do yourself a favor and don't sleep on this living legacy!“
“Even if the interior needs a lot of work, the food doesn't. The roast pork is divine! So crispy on the outside and juicy and tasty on the inside. Dip it into the hoisen sauce, and it's perfect. I couldn't try the char sui because they ran out the day I went (late). I will try it next time with the roast duck. It's $21.99/lb for the roast pig. It's well worth it. I also got the eggplant shezwan style, dry string beans, salt & pepper rock cod fish fleet, and clams with black bean sauce. All of it was superb, not too salty, as a lot of Chinese food can be. This is my new go-to Chinese BBQ place from now on!“
“First time coming in here to try their halo-halo but wasn't available. However we stayed to try out their food (kare kare, vegetable lumpia, and lechon kawali). We were very surprised at how good they tasted because we were the only ones in there. It tastes like home-made filipino food and if you want an affordable meal that will get you full, please try this place out! My family and I will definitely be coming back to try the halo halo another time!“
“This is one of my bf and my's favorite little cafe's, serving up delicious and authentic Greek specialties. Today we had my favorite - the Beef Moussaka (eggplant layered with beef in sauce, topped with bechamel) served with roasted potatoes and vegetables, and an excellent Greek Salad. We often get their flatbread stuffed sandwiches. Prices are reasonable at $25 for the moussaka dinner (I took home half) and $8. for the salad. Easy parking in their lot. The gentleman who often serves us is very friendly. As everything is made to order, this is not a place to come if you want "fast casual" because it takes awhile to receive your food, but it will be served hot and perfectly made. Great for take out and family meals.“
