“Ono opened relatively recently in South Pasadena, conveniently off the 110 fwy. It is a chain that specializes in fast casual Hawaiian food like chicken katsu and spam musubi. It is nice having a Hawaiian restaurant near the Pasadena area, though I wish they had my favorite Hawaiian food loco moco. I'm still trying to figure out what the island white fish is (tilapia, rockfish, etc), so if anyone knows feel free to lmk!“

“Wife and I were ecstatic upon hearing that Ululani opened shop close to home. We experienced it first in Maui. Other shaved ice shops in Maui and Waikiki couldn't hold a candle to Ululani. Fluffy ice and their syrups taste organic and not too sweet. Our four year-old approved on his first trip to the Hollywood location. This is the best Hawaiian shaved ice by a Maui mile. Hope they stick around long term.“
“Interior is small but parking is decent, and I think the food is hit or miss depending on what you order. But for the most part the fried chicken katsu is a good option; the bone in fried chicken that others seem to like was a little dry for me. There is a catering menu and seemingly they are a good option for gatherings. The owners work here and are very sweet Asian couple. They will always smile and engage in conversation with you. Top Restaurant has been in business for a long time so they are doing lots of things right!“
“I usually go for the short ribs (which are phenomenal), but I thought I’d try the grilled garlic shrimp for a slightly healthier option. Unfortunately, like the other review said, it’s pretty nasty. They should call it “slightly battered jarred garlic shrimp” instead. The mac salad is delicious though.“

This is unlike any other poke place I've had since you order via the robot and they make your food in the back. Other spots is like Chipotle style. That being said, the 'small' portion was pretty hefty but also a bit on the pricey side. Good quality fish though.“

“I came through because I have walked through this little alley with friends and always see this tiny little cat-logo sushi shop. I came by on a whim expecting some fast foody simple rolls which would have been fine. But I was surprised when the salmon roll came out, and it was immediately obvious the fish was really nice quality and the roll looked as good as some of my favorite sushi restaurants. Parking here isn't too much of a headache, there's plenty of spots right in front. And you know it, I came here for one thing and one thing only. POKE! I must say if you like spicy you have to try their ALWAYS SPICY. That is definitely my go to order. It comes with delicious chewy rice along with some edamame and if I'm feeling a little extra I will order their masubi which are both bomb af!!! Service is great as well! “A spot right on the corner in uptown Whittier. My husband and I were walking down the street and didn't know what to eat. Whittier is home away from home. We used to live nearby and take in all our favourite foods. We happen to be in the area and see all the updated shops and restaurants. We decided to try something new and We were so glad we did. Teriyaki Bistro was so welcoming when we walked in. We chose our option of plate/bowl and our toppings. I thought the toppings were a fun little treat. We waited less than 10 min for our food and ate downstairs. The restaurant was clean and had everything you needed. The restroom is located inside that needs a key. Don't worry you can't lose the key... It's attached to a metal serving spoon ?Save some room for dessert. They have ice cream sandwiches.“

“My go to poki spot in DTLA. Fairly priced and not skimpy with the protein the workers know what they're doing! I switch between the poki bowls and the wrap - both are great honestly. There are so many options and compared to spots like sweet fin this is just so much fresher and better in my opinion. It's located inside the grocery store which is nice because sometimes I grab a wrap and do my grocery shopping. You can also take it to go and sit at the tables outside. Super good, a must go.“

“This is a hidden gem! The food is fresh to order. I've only tried the pupusas revueltas and tacos de carne asada. It's a small location but definitely worth a try. It's an interesting combination of different foods. The cooks are really sweet and the gentleman at the register is friendly. There are only about 6 tables with 4 chairs each, but if it's only you and your date it's perfect. The decor is a lot of Salvadoran art and some plates with Salvadoran currency. It's cute for a date to chat and have some good food.“

“Hands down, the best Poke place I have eaten at. I travel for work and I love Poke and I try to visit local Poke restaurants where I'm visiting. The large selection of seafood and toppings makes for a great meal. I love the spicy tuna, the shrimp and scallops. I usually get two scoops of crab meat and add avocado, edamame, cilantro and spicy Poke sauce. I never get tired of eating it. Co-workers say it is the best Poke restaurant they have ever eaten at. They have pretty loyal clientele. You can order online, although I have never done that, and pick up your order. There isn't a lot of seating and it's a large long table in the center and a section against the wall where you can sit and eat. Seating is usually available and most people I noticed take out their order. The parking lot is small and you can usually find parking on the street if necessary. I totally recommend this place. The owner is nice, the management is nice, the step is incredibly friendly and it's just a pleasure eating really good healthy food at this location.“
