“Hanu K-BBQ was a highly rated place in LA's Koreatown, so we decided to try it. Clearly review inflation. 4.7 on Yelp and Google. Big focus on getting 5 star yelp reviews. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating and its own parking lot.
3.5% credit card fee. Their menu has the typical expensive a la carte meats, but lacks tofu stew.
Lunch Specials 11am-3pm/7days are a great bet.

Meal was fine but not super. Service was drop and go. Probably should have went back to Soowon Galbi or Parks BBQ.

Marinated Beef Short Ribs + Buckwheat cold noodle soup ($34.99) lunch special was cooked at our table and consisted of 3 pieces. No BBQ smell at least. Decent quality and reasonable quantity. Huge bowl of cold noodles. Only 4 types of banchan. 8.5/10

Beef brisket soybean paste stew with tofu ($14.99) lunch special is not a big dish and was the closest thing to tofu spicy stew. Very spicy. 8/10

As far as the food I would drive from Beverly Hills just to get their bowls. It deserves a five-star. Everything went incredibly smooth and the staff were incredibly professional. I could go on and on about the quality of the food but I haven't had every dish. The one dish I had the bulgogi with rice was done to perfection. The rice was correctly made as can be. They said no dogs at 1st,then I stated she is service animal.

Then he grilled me on type of service she provides, we answered his demands,but still didn't want us to have the service animal.
We finally got to eat. But after about 30 minutes of waiting, then they stuck us in the back corner, but he clearly did not want the dog in the building.

There was so many more banchan that you’d normally see, with a few items I’ve never even had before, like their seaweed noddle salad, which was REALLY good and had a texture similar to jellyfish.

The japjae was kind of underwealming tho. Would rather have it just be replacable with fried rice or something.

The meats were all exceptional, the seafood was cooked in the kitchen and brought out and was also delicious, and the steamed egg is really good too.

“The vibe is amazing. High energy for sure. Great place to come and have a conversation or be loud with your friends. The meat quality is amazing. Everything is fresh never Frozen. The kimchi the sauce, the soup, the salad, the meat, literally everything is just top tier. The amount was perfect as well: the thing was heavy for just one order. The Spicy BBQ also came with a dipping sauce that was very unique; it was citrous-y and fishy and it wasn't like anything I've tasted before which was amazing!
