“Honestly, the best L&L i've ever been to (between the Bay and LA). Came here around 2pm on a Sunday and it was empty but super clean and spacious. Our food came out in a reasonable time, but my portion for the chicken cutlet was HUGE. i definitely had some left over for lunch tomorrow. Not only was my portion huge, the chicken was cooked PERFECTLY. It was juicy and tender and there was just enough gravy on it for me. The bbq beef wasn't as tender as hoped, but it was still flavorful and very filling. They also give a side of teriyaki sauce and extra gravy for the chicken cutlet. L&L is definitely on the pricier side, but if you don't eat a lot, it's definitely enough for two meals!“

“My wife is Korean, and we have dined in all the top Korean places in Los Angeles and Seoul for over 20 years. AB Steak delivers high end versions of traditional Korean classics. The quality of the meat is superior to that of most Korean restaurants, from the melt in your mouth A5 like kkotsal to the marinated short ribs. The egg “soufflé” gyeranjjim has a light cheese sauce and more flavor than typical. Moving perfectly cooked medium rare meat from the grill to a cast iron warmer keeps the meat warm while preventing over cooking is a great idea. Service is capable and friendly.“

“Wow! The best marinated pork ribs! Come on down to Jin Ju. It isn't an all you can eat spot, but you can't beat the quality. My friend and I decided to try the prime beef and the marinated pork ribs (which is their speciality). Both meats were very delicious. They pretty much cook your food for you. The beef was cut into nice cubes. They were cooked at a perfect medium rare. The prok ribs were also cut into pieces, as well. There was a good selection of 10 types of banchan: fishcake (eomuk bokkeum), sesame broccoli, kimchi, potato salad, cucumber kimchi (sigeumchi-namul), stir-fried glass noodles (japchae), korean spinach, pickled onions, bean sprouts (kongnamul), pancake (yachaejeon), and radish kimchi (kkakdugi) . And honestly, this spot has one of the better quality banchan sides. The japchae had so much flavor, and the potato salad was also good. I appreciated that they offered the pickled onions, which goes really well with the marinated pork. My friend was also excited that they had korean spinach, which most places don't have at all. We also ordered the red pepper paste soup. It was so good! Rick and full of flavor. There's enough seating for 2-6 people to each table. It's not too big of a spot, so if you're trying to get away from the long lined spots - this is the spot to be. Service is quick and friendly. There is free parking in the lot if you're lucky. If not, you can find free street parking.“

It’s walking distance from Gold Diggers and Hollywood Forever (both great concert venues), and honestly some of the best eggplant I’ve ever had.The menu is simple and straightforward, with one vegan/vegetarian option. The tofu and eggplant bowl was insanely delicious. Huge portions, very reasonable price, and piping hot and fresh.I walked there and ordered from the cashier, and it was a ten minute wait for food. You can order online in advance for pick up from their website, and it seems like they do a ton of delivery.They gave me napkins, a fork, and soy sauce and sriracha packets, but I didn’t need them because it was seasoned and flavored perfectly. The tofu was melt in your mouth soft, not chewy at all, my favorite way of eating it. The in house pickled veggies were so good, and balanced the flavors in the dish. There were cashews for a crunch, and some onions and bok choy, all on a bed of fluffy white rice.I know LA has a ton of places to eat but I would definitely come back just for this bowl.After the rest of my group saw and smelled what I was eating, they all went to go order from there themselves and agreed it was delicious.Vegetarian options: The menu is super simple and there’s one vegan bowl but it’s incredible and totally worth it.“

“We've been coming here for years and I think I've been to this spot more times than any other place in ktown! They basically have 3 items on the menu: Duck, Duck, or Duck. Pro tip: If it's your first time here, just get the basic duck slices and your banchan and here's why. Although the duck here is delicious, the highlight of the meal really comes at the end. Koreans make a big deal about duck fat and it's health benefits over other types of unhealthy fat. So as you're grilling your duck in the center of the table, they plug up the grill with a small piece of kimchi and let that golden clear duck fat pool up at the end of the grill. When you're done, she'll come out with a big bowl of korean red rice, dump it into that crystal clear duck fat along with all of your remaining banchan (make sure to leave enough or order more!) and make the best fried rice from your leftover duck fat, that you've ever eaten anywhere.... This is the way. So the 3 duck dishes are basically duck slices, duck strips, or spicy marinated duck. If you order the spicy duck, it messes up the grill and fat a little and the rice is not quite as good. Definitely try it on your second visit (and you will be back after your first) but keep it simple for your first time!“
