The food here was OKAY at best. I’m from the Midwest where bbq is a religion and I eat it all the time back home. Folks from where I’m from will be disappointed in the quality of meat, the watery bbq sauce and dry cornbread. Where’s the butter?! They put a few drops of honey on the cornbread, no butter and also served it to me COLD, what a shame.I also had the pastrami Ruben sandwich and a bbq brisket sandwich and they were good. Food was ridiculously good. The special for the night was brisket grilled cheese on rye….so big I ended up taking half home. Our server Mason was a delight as well…we willDefinitely be back!

The food wasn’t great. Brisket was extremely dry, like shockingly dry. It was also kind of tough and I couldn’t just pull it apart. The food is also just outrageously expensive here. $8 for a bowl of beans (probably from a can) is absurd. $4+ per biscuit, $8 for pickles, etc. I think I went during happy hour and a beer also ended up being cheaper than a soda by about .25c, which is extremely odd.
