Every time we visit, we are greeted by an exceptionally attentive and warm host whose passion for hospitality really sets the tone. The food is delicious—I highly recommend the lobster salad, though the Wagyu burger is my personal favorite. While the atmosphere feels a bit dated, it is very relaxing and provides a great backdrop for excellent food and service.

“Came in for an early dinner on Friday night. Easy to get a table. Really friendly service. They have a gluten free menu which is so helpful and the staff was well informed as well as the chefs. The salmon sushi I had tasted like butter. Crispy rice with spicy salmon also made gluten free. Almost all of their rolls could be made gluten free. Really delicious and there is nothing like dining out with peace of mind.“

The hotel itself is beautiful, the atmosphere was perfect, the food was immaculate, and every single person we encountered was incredibly polite and welcoming.

But I especially have to recognize Sammi. She was absolutely wonderful and truly made my visit feel special from the moment I arrived. She was warm, professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. Her service was easily a 10/10 and one of the biggest reasons I enjoyed my experience so much.

“The staff is so working, friendly, and can be silly! It's a cozy spot. Every piece of nigiri made me overjoyed! Typically, I don't like wagyu nigiri when I'm at a sushi spot because I'm there for fish...... BUT..... This one....ohhhh this one made me almost shed a tear. It made me speechless. I'm in love with the flavor profiles and the the sushi rice was also DELICIOUS. I can be pretty picky about that too.“

The waiter was excellent—very friendly and accommodating. Even though it wasn't on the menu, they were able to make me a decaf latte, which I really appreciated.

The cookie skillet was good, but it wasn't quite memorable enough for me to feel it justified the price. That said, part of what you're paying for is the experience of dining in such a historic hotel, so perhaps that's to be expected.
