“Visited on April 21, had a delicious thaali, very good service and owners interacted so nicely and looking forward to come back to try more dishes . Recommend 100% and should not be missed if you want authentic indian foods and nice flavors .“
“This 100% vegan place is delicious, has friendly service and a nice casual atmosphere, and-bonus-easy parking. The menu is great but I also love its accessibility. We had the Backyard BBQ Tofu bowl and the Fiesta Carnitas bowl. Can't wait to go back and try more.“
“Great vegan restaurant in Melrose. The food has plenty of flavor and tastes fresh. Prices during happy hour are very affordable, and it’s a great for big groups to share bites and drinks. Atmosphere is nice, especially outdoors on the patio. The highlight of the evening for me was the olive oil brownie — a must try!“
“We came here for Easter Sunday brunch yesterday. It’s a cute restaurant with friendly staff. However, I expected the food to taste better…I ordered their classic breakfast pizza suggested by the server. First of all, it looked great. I’m not a fan of the fake bacon because it tastes like paper. After the first couple of bites, I realized the pizza was barely edible because of the amount of big rosemary leaves added in the pizza dough. I had to hand picked them out of the pizza to avoid tasting the ‘soapy’ rosemary flavor… and I love rosemary in general. Just not THIS MUCH. I asked my friends to also taste my pizza and they all told me I should send it back.Luckily, our server took it back right away and gave me the option to change to a different pizza. The second pizza I ordered was margarita pizza. It was pretty blend. But at least edible.I do need to say their menu is probably a hit or miss. My friends ordered the breakfast burritos that they enjoyed a lot. Which is why I’m leaving it 4 stars.Note: very limited street parking and $20 valet parking.Parking: Very limited street parking and $20 valet parking.“
“Not only do I go there on a regular basis, but I just rented the private room and back patio to celebrate my 60th Birthday Party! Special thank you to Emma! She managed my party perfectly. Emma was on top of everything every step of the way! She is smart and friendly and efficient! I could not have pulled this off without her! Thank you to Ceaser and Orlando as well for their help.I look forward to future events at this store and Laguna location!Dietary restrictions: Pizzas and sliders and Hummus are amazing!“
“Call ahead! The wait at the sandwich section can - at times - be a bit slow & tedious and can cost you half your lunch hour. Plus I don't love the fact that their default channel is "Fix News". Still, the salad bar is fabulous. Also, Maggie and Ruby absolutely rock! :-)“
“Great food and beautiful interior! The best plant based place I have ever tried. The flavors are amazing and they have something for everyone. Def a must try. Service was good and attentive. The food is very creative and plated beautifully. And again the interior design is worth a visit all on its own.“
“Socalo is consistently great. Everyone I introduce it to ends up returning on their own. Everything is great here, the food especially of course (the menu is innovative with kind of a classic base and the ingredients are very high end). Somehow though, they manage to keep the prices reasonable. The staff is really nice, the design and atmosphere are beautiful both during the day and the evening. I love that it's an all day restaurant so you can even grab a meal or a snack during in-between hours. This place is kind of a sleeper favorite and because it seems to be under the radar a bit, getting a reservation is always easy. I truly love this place.“
“Had the fundido and it was amazing. Loved the broccoli on top and the blue corn chips were perfectly salted. Taquitos were delicious. The chickpeas were so creamy and the flavor was spectacular Banana cream pie was so good. Crunchy and smooth at the same time.“
“Totally amazed by the great selection and quality of the food at lunch buffet. It was really good. They had chicken biryani, goat curry, chicken tikka massala, tandoori, chicken and so many other dishes. They also Chai tea and a good selection of sweet desserts. A gem of a spot and I'm glad I chanced upon it. This will be my go to for Indian buffet, authentic. Service was top notch too!!“
“what a great find!! maxine's is an adorable cafe with a cozy interior and great food. this place has probably the best biscuits and gravy i've had in all of LA - the gravy has a lot of sausage and is actually seasoned well. the biscuit is light and fluffy and buttery. its also only $12!! i also got am omelet which was a little underdone for my tastes, but the chili bean sauce it came with was fantastic. their fresh oj is great and service was awesome too. everyone was very down to earth and kind. there isn't too much seating because it's quite small but there are 2 tables for larger parties, the seating is all handmade wooden benches and tables. im so happy to have found this place so close to home :)“
“We were looking for a place with gluten-free options and this turned out to be a very good choice. The cauliflower and roast beef sandwich were delicious. I especially liked the waitress, who was always attentive without overwhelming the staff.Dietary restrictions: Varias opciones GF (Gluten Free)“
“This is one of my favorite vegan restaurants. It's actually a Thai restaurant and it's so amazing. Start with the soup. It's so delicious and authentically thai. I've never had a bad meal here and it's definitely one of my staples for Los Angeles. Yes, it is completely vegan!Vegetarian options: Menu is all vegan“
“My favorite go to vegan Thai dinner. Gourmet food served in a casual restaurant. A gem in Los Angeles, free parking. Excellent food, highly recommended. Every dish was made with care and the ingredients are of high quality. Highly recommended. Chef is trained in the best culinary school in New York. Her constant passion to make better food is clearly reflected in her cooking. Each time I’ve been here, I can see how her food has stepped up to the next level.Vegetarian options: Chef is trained in the best culinary school in New York.“
“Customer service alone brings this place to 5 stars. The owner is a sweetheart and checked in on us throughout dinner and gave us the best recommendations. The food was incredibly tasty, I had the vegetable biryani and vegetable samosa and both were so good. The food came out quickly and tasted fresh. The place is clean and the decor is so cute. Excited to come back and try more food!“
“I've been coming here for years, I can't believe I haven't written a review! I love their food. My favorite item to order is their mung bean pad thai, although I wish there was an option to get it with soy chicken or beef and not just tofu skewers. The tofu cubes are huge so the flavor doesn't really penetrate them. I like this dish because the noodles and veggies are flavorful. My family also enjoys cashew nut lover dish and the buddha rolls. Those are so filling, I can just get those and be happy. If you like thai tea, you must try it here. So good. One star off because parking is difficult, especially on weekends, and it's a little pricy for me. The good thing is that inflation has led to all restaurants raising their prices in the last couple of years, so I am more used to it and not as bothered as I used to be . Note: the seats are incredibly uncomfortable so if you dine in and have back issues like me, bring a cushion.“
“So, my friend chose this restaurant because she's vegan. I am not. It was an hour from my home and I arrived starving. I was greeted nicely by the host and he was very patient with me while I flip flopped about whether to sit inside or out. Decided to eat in. Waited ten minutes, still no friend. I look at her message again. The lunch was the following week! Arghh! My lovely server, Graciela, walked me through the foreign menu and we landed on nachos. They were delicious. It's street parking, which I hate, but overall it's a nice place. But I wouldn't drive an hour for it.“
“Very much enjoyed the food and experience here. Small quaint place with charm and authenticity. I had the vegan pad Thai which was well prepared, and the tofu and vegan chicken were tasty and nicely incorporated. Would love to try the curries next time.“
“La La Lasagna is to die for and if I was dying, I would want this as my last meal. I'm not being hyperbolic when I say this is my favorite food to eat *ever* and I have a child-like giddiness when I have the chance to stop by this truck.Chef Michelangelo is the nicest man on the planet and I'm happy to give him all my money. Do yourself a big favor and RUN to get some.“
“Instagram brought me here for the breakfast burrito and it did not disappoint. I ordered the sausage breakfast burrito on a GF tortilla because I have to be GF. I am very grateful for that option or else I would not be able to try this burrito. The burrito is LOADED with tater tots, just egg, sausage and a chiptole creama. Although the area you pick up seems sketchy its not. I appreciate what they are doing here and the concept is great. Will def come back but I would suggest a bit more egg in the burrito because the burrito is 80% tots.“
“Thanks to our fabulous server, Joshua- everything was perfect! Two members of our party had finished the LA Marathon and Josh went out of his way to make sure they got everything exactly as they wished. He treated them like Kings - which they deserved. The food, as usual, was fresh and delicious and fantastic. Major props to the whole kitchen crew for doing such a great job on such a busy day. Also- the grass fed beef in the true blue burger is amazingly tender and fresh. Only to be topped by the grass fed ice cream on top of freshly baked chocolate chunk cookies.“
“I really Love the lamb chops, dolmas and rice meatball soup. I didn’t take pictures, I was so busy eating my food. My kids loved the chicken kebab. Service is great. As a Latina I feel a little shy when I’m trying different food but they are very nice people and food is delicious.“
“Put simply, my favorite restaurant of all time is Leonore's. I love it, and I can't say enough good things about this place. My favorite meal there is their soy chicken enchilada dinner, and I add a beet salad and a flaxseed tea. And their waitress Amy is terrific.“
“Had a solid experience here. I ordered the filet mignon plate with spinach dip and wings for appetizers for my wife and myself. The service was top-notch. Our waiter was on top of everything and really cool. The atmosphere while busy was not that loud, which surprised me.Highly recommended“
“I am so happy I found this place!! This was one of my first times in Sherman Oaks, and I just wanted to find something to eat that would make me feel good and not run down when I’m on the go, so I’m stoked I found Harvest Bar. I’m not vegan but I love places that can make even a meat eater like myself love eating things like jackfruit nachos. The smoothie was delicious too and my friend got an acai bowl that was super fresh. Definitely gonna make this a go to spot when I’m over that way“
“I enjoyed the G3 and the C2 from Rejuice, the other day with my wife, and we were both very impressed by the freshness and delicious flavors of our pressed juices. We will most definitely be returning here and trying the rest of these amazing “
“Another long-overdue review. Indian Summer is consistently good over the past 2 decades I've been visiting. I really miss their sit-down location. Even though it's just takeout now, the food quality is just the same. Excellent Korma, Masala, & Rice! We love getting the large size and having leftovers throughout the week. Last time I ordered online, I remember it being a bit clunky, so I recommend ordering over the phone.“
“We loved the food a lot. Jain food was very good. Staff was not that polite, however food made us very happy. If you stay in LA and visit Santa Monica beach and looking for India vegetarian restaurant around, this restaurant will come to rescue. Just mind the timing as its open till 9:30 pm.Dietary restrictions: They have separate Jain menu. We tried Jain Paneer makhani, Paneer paratha, Dal tadka and Jeera rice. Every dish was amazing. Must a visit.“
“Excellent delicious, fresh, healthy vegetarian food served in a highly uplifting atmosphere. Nice people, and fantastic location next to the Krishna temple. We also went to the Bhagavad Gita museum next door and thought that was fabulous. Will definitely return the next time we are in LA!“
“Nice restaurant for vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and just overall healthier options for food! I came here with my mother in law who is gluten free and between that and the vegetarians dishes I can still confirm my tastebuds didn't miss a beat. I ordered the Pad Thai and my husband had the Gnocchi. Both were really good, but I think I liked the Pad Thai just a little bit more. I don't try the pizza my mother in law ordered but it looked good too. I was also pleasantly surprised by the mushroom calamari - the texture was just like regular calamari and the taste was very flavorful and yummy. I would order it again. For dessert was got the Matcha Chocolate Cake which was like chocolate oreo with match icing on top :) Inside the place is also very cute and trendy. Perfect date spot since most of the tables are in the smaller party side. They also have a small patio out front for the nice weather days. Parking can be tricky with street meters and it can be busy on Abbot Kinney at times.“
“I always enjoy True Food Kitchen for it's diverse and unique offerings. The food is always fresh and the wait staff and very friendly and professional. This is healthy, clean food. I especially appreciate the array of vegan options, not just a mock meat burger and a side salad, but legit tasty vegan options throughout the menu, including dessert! It's one of the few places I can confidently go with none vegans and know we'll both enjoy something on the menu.“
“Bollywood Indian Restaurant is home to my favorite Indian food in all of LA! My partner and I go here once a week and every time it is as delicious as ever. Not only is the food amazing, but the service is absolutely incredible!Nazirul, one of the employees, is the sweetest person! He knows our order by heart and always makes sure everything is to our liking! He really makes the experience a 10/10.The Chana Masala is the best dish there, paired with garlic & cheese naan - it's the best meal to exist! I urge everyone to try this restaurant as it will become your go to!Dietary restrictions: I'm vegetarian and find it easy to order here.Parking: Parking is great - either on ventura blvd. or in the back of the restaurant.“
“Delicious food, lovely service and the perfect place for a ladies lunch meeting. Chef had healthy vegan and veggie choices for those of us who wanted them as well as freshly prepared northern italian favorites. Ask for the Bread Pudding, it will change your life.“
“I love Greenleaf! I'm so happy the Century City location is open again <3. The food is consistent, clean, fresh and super tasty across all locations. I love the upgrades they've made to the CC location to give it a more, "stay and hang out" vibe. I LOVE that they have paleo options, and they are all GOOD! When I'm not on paleo, my go-to's are the "Cheap N' Easy" breakfast sandwich (lots of protein!) and the Hollywood Bowl. I've done dine-in, pick-out and delivery. Enjoy!Dietary restrictions: Paleo“
“Very close and very delicious. They are RELIABLE which is so hard to find these days. They are hard working and they listen and read the orders well. I like to call after placing online and they never seem like they are in a bad mood. All of this is important to me lol. Thank you for being near UCLA!“
“Is this good Falafel or what? I've been here twice but it only keeps getting better and better. We got a Falafel baguette, with french fries and a side of chicken schnitzel. I asked for a jalapeño to add a little heat to my food and boy did he delivered . The owner is very friendly and tends to his costumers with a smile. Very kind soul. Cannot recommend this place enough. Also, I didn't take a pic, but he's got a table with a Washing Cup setting for Al Netilas Yadayim. So props for that!“
“seaweed salad and gyoza were great to start! the ambiance feels moderately dedicated towards japanese culture which is always a plus. they may have been understaffed when I came, but service was a bit weak. The ramen entree left a bit more to be desired flavor-wise, but I do really appreciate the vibe in the establishment. I would come again!“
“I always had a good experience at veggie grill.Ordering online or dining in. Service is always great and food is always delicious. As an avid vegan who tries different foods constantly, I’d define veggie grill as a sort of “healthy fast food” among the many options available in LA. Prices are decent and I love how all details about meal are included on the menu, including the amount of calorie for each dish.A must try for vegans and non vegans :)My favorites: lentil soup, Far East Thai bowl - replaced with tempeh, nachos, quesadilla.Thank you veggie grill!“
“I love MIXT! It's a little overwhelming when you're not sure what to get when you're trying new place but Basil & Vanessa helped me and I enjoyed every part of my meal! Both my mom & I got the Bachan's Bowl and we loved it! Definitely recommend! Good food + great customer service“
“Super delicious!! Friendly service!! Reasonable prices and cozy, trendy atmosphere. Definitely a new favorite comfort food spot ?Great spot for a get together with friends, family, or even a date!We had the Roti & Curry starter and Pineapple Fried Rice. The curry dip was hearty and creamy and paired perfectly with the crunchy roti. The fried rice was the perfect balance of fresh produce and indulgent fried goodness. It's the kind of amazing dish that leaves you feeling satiated but not bloated! All of my compliments to the chef.Vegetarian options: Everything was VeganDietary restrictions: Gluten free options, dishes containing nuts clearly labeled“
“Loved the food here! I normally don't like Indian food (mainly curry) but these dishes made me change my mind. The rice and chicken combo were delicious especially when mixing them together. The garlic naan bread was also made fresh and came with 4 large pieces. These dishes are definitely shareable. The service was great. The server was not that talkative but came to check on us a few times. It's also decorated nicely and gave me an Indian vibe. Will be back!“
“Heathy food that taste good. Most people are unaware but the utensils are located on the side of the machine. And it is touch less if you use the app. The app also provides you with everything on stock and saves your order incase stock runs low.“
“It's plated very beautifully and the food is all amazing, especially for being vegan. It's a tiny little restaurant, only three little tables, but it's all very good and very very well priced, especially for CaliforniaVegetarian options: It's a vegan place. They have a number of dishes labeled 'chicken' and whatnot but when my sister opened it up it was clearly not on the inside, but still goodWheelchair accessibility: There's ~3 accessible parking spots and a small ramp“
