“Great white is an amazing place. I’ve been there for dinner and lunch. The breakfast burrito is my favorite in all of LA but the dinner experience, the atmosphere is very fun it’s the perfect spot for casual family friendly dinner where the food is amazing The burger was delicious and so are the fish tacos. finally, the banana bread for dessert was so tasty.“

“I’ve been to Felix multiple times over the years, and in general, I think it’s a fantastic restaurant with consistently high-quality food. That’s why this review is disappointing to write.

The last two pasta dishes I’ve ordered have been underwhelming. My previous visit, the carbonara fell short, and this time the cacio e pepe was even more disappointing.

The cacio e pepe was overwhelmingly peppery, lacked the rich, creamy Pecorino Romano flavor that defines the dish, and tasted like it had little to no cheese. It was nothing like a proper cacio e pepe should be. I had just returned from Italy a few weeks ago, where I ate authentic cacio e pepe at small local trattorias, so I know exactly how beautifully simple and balanced this dish can be. Unfortunately, Felix’s version completely missed the mark. Considering the restaurant’s reputation and premium prices, I expected much more.

To make matters worse, the service at the bar was disappointing. Not once during the meal did anyone ask how the food was or whether everything was okay. A simple check-in could have given us the opportunity to share our concerns while we were there.

I genuinely hope the team takes this feedback constructively because Felix is still a great restaurant overall, and I’ve had many excellent meals here. That’s exactly why these last two visits have been so surprising. I hope they address these issues and bring the pasta back to the standard that made Felix such a standout in the first place.“

“I took my husband for Father’s Day brunch/lunch at our favorite Italian restaurant here in the Palisades and as always it did not disappoint. It never does. He loved his steak and eggs, steak was Devine and I loved my chick pea soup. Always have the panne cotta and the cherry gelato and an espresso in their delightful patio and you’ve been to Italy!“

We had the Caprese and the Veggie and clearly we could have shared one sandwich as we ended up having half and then having the other half for dinner at home.

For five dollars extra you can upgrade and include a drink and a bag of potato chips. Very good food, the bread was fresh out of the oven and the ingredients were amazing.

Outside seating in a nice shaded patio. I definitely recommend.“

“Great food and super chill vibe. We were a party of 6 at 4 pm on a Sunday, it was nearly empty at that time and they accommodated us right away. One of us had the steak fajitas and said they were amazing! The chicken and shrimp tacos are great, vegetable taco and chicken burrito were okay. The guac was super good too but the salsa was super spicy. Large portions and fast and friendly service! We sat inside but the outside area looked cute too.

“We are from NYS and stopped in Malibu and absolutely loved the food! I had the falafel bowl and my husband had the lamb shoulder pita. We have a large Mediterranean population where we are from. The tzitzki sauce was honestly the best I've ever had. The falafel was fresh and flavorful.“

“I recently ordered catering from Lokal Venice and it was such a great experience. The place itself is super cute, the interior is really well put together and just beautiful to look at.

This was my first time ordering catering from them, and it was a total success. Everything was delivered right on time, and the presentation was amazing. I ordered burritos and asked them to cut them in half, which made everything look extra neat and organized, perfect for a group setting.

I had quite a few dietary restrictions to accommodate since this was for a Teacher Appreciation Day at a school (vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, egg allergies, dairy-free) and they handled everything so well. The communication was easy, they responded quickly to emails, and made the whole process stress-free.

On top of all that, they even let me take their insulated bags to make it easier to transport everything, they just asked me to return them later. I thought that was such a thoughtful and helpful touch.

I 1000% recommend them, and I’ll definitely be ordering from them again for my next catering!“

“We stopped here after an afternoon at the beach: 4 adults, 2 seniors, and 3 children ages 2 to 4. Service was excellent, very accommodating and patient with our large group including little ones. The food was great, lots of choices, something for everyone. And it was happy hour, so we got discounts on pizzas and drinks! Reasonable prices, large delicious pizzas, friendly attentive service. “10/10 every visit. I’m addicted to the gringo tacos with the habanero sauce. It’s a spiritual experience to see how much I can handle. The people are great. It’s a low key and clean environment. And you may expect some more riff raff coming directly off Lincoln, but you wouldn’t know just hanging out in the back. Plus they have a great little parking lot.“

“These are hands down the best tacos I’ve had in LA. And I’ve had a lot of tacos in the country. Plus for the price (2 bucks a taco), you can’t beat eating this stuff. Highly recommend for any locals of the areas. We got the chicken, pastor, and asada. All a recommend, and you can load up on your own toppings, def get the onions and jalapeño if you love spice.“

“The staff was very kind and accommodating here. I ordered a gluten-free vegan cheese veggie pizza. (I'm not vegan, just wasn't feeling like meat) and the gluten-free crust was delicious. The vegan cheese was much too heavy for me, so I recommend asking for light cheese unless you're into that.

The missing star is only for atmosphere and the crowd it draws. A lot of people were high on various kinds of substances, and I was harassed repeatedly by another customer while waiting for my food. I understand it's a cheap food place that is open fairly late into the evening, but so are lots of places, so it's odd.

Not a place to dine-in unless you need to in a pinch. There are all but two tables. Overall very happy with the staff and food!
