50 Best Vegetarian Restaurants in Venice

“I met my friend for breakfast yesterday morning at 8:30 am. Since it was so early, we were able to grab a four-top table on their patio, just outside of the open-air, stylishly beachy restaurant.

We both ordered coffees, a latte and an Americano. She had the overnight oats bowl, which looked delicious and filing, and I had the avocado toast on sourdough. So fresh and good!

The staff were very nice and friendly, and this is a great, laidback place to have breakfast.

There is a large parking lot in front of the restaurant; paid parking only.

I will come back and bring my boyfriend! Great location across the street from Venice Beach, too.“

I am sometimes very picky about my pasta but they did a great job making it. I also thought the fish was very well made and the salad that comes with it was so fresh and good. “I took my husband for Father’s Day brunch/lunch at our favorite Italian restaurant here in the Palisades and as always it did not disappoint. It never does. He loved his steak and eggs, steak was Devine and I loved my chick pea soup. Always have the panne cotta and the cherry gelato and an espresso in their delightful patio and you’ve been to Italy!“

“The location is great being right on the beach and has a great atmosphere. As a heads up it can be a little loud inside. The rockfish crudo was very good and light, the snap peas were great, and so were the prawns. We also got the mussels which unfortunately had have that had not been opened (or so very little you could not even use a fork). They were able to make us a half batch to remedy this. Overall the location/buzz does much of the heavy lifting.“

“We were visiting from Pennsylvania and found this place. The food was absolutely incredible. Ingredients were all fresh and delicious. For such a small staff it definitely felt as though I was dining at a family member’s home. Every ingredient seemed like it was chosen with great attention. If I lived here I’d be back time and again.“

We had a drink at Nobu and then headed over to discover the best falafel bowl and chicken gryro we have had in LA (we have had a lot of falafel bowls, and alot of gyros). High quality ingredients, reasonable pricing, and honestly better than the Greek food we had in Greece even. Will be visiting again soon!“

“Had a great meal! Forwent ordering potstickers in order to try the enticingly named Gang of 4 ×4 - a delicious decision! The Mao's Hometown was just-right spicy, and I'm sure they put more than $2 extra shrimp on my order. Service friendly and prompt, loved the art. I felt as though I had wandered back into college in the early '70s.“

“Be aware of a GOOD thing…these sandwiches are HUGE!!

We had the Caprese and the Veggie and clearly we could have shared one sandwich as we ended up having half and then having the other half for dinner at home.

For five dollars extra you can upgrade and include a drink and a bag of potato chips. Very good food, the bread was fresh out of the oven and the ingredients were amazing.

Outside seating in a nice shaded patio. I definitely recommend.“

“I really enjoyed this place. I was not sure what to expect and I am a bit of a sushi snob. The vibe was casual, but very cool. Stylish staff with good food recommendations. I don't usually like a DJ, but their DJ was AWESOME! I even got her IG so I could hopefully catch her out somewhere else. All in all, a fun night with good food and drink. I went with two other adults, it's not a kid place.“

“These are hands down the best tacos I’ve had in LA. And I’ve had a lot of tacos in the country. Plus for the price (2 bucks a taco), you can’t beat eating this stuff. Highly recommend for any locals of the areas. We got the chicken, pastor, and asada. All a recommend, and you can load up on your own toppings, def get the onions and jalapeño if you love spice.“

“We stopped here after an afternoon at the beach: 4 adults, 2 seniors, and 3 children ages 2 to 4. Service was excellent, very accommodating and patient with our large group including little ones. The food was great, lots of choices, something for everyone. And it was happy hour, so we got discounts on pizzas and drinks! Reasonable prices, large delicious pizzas, friendly attentive service. And you may expect some more riff raff coming directly off Lincoln, but you wouldn’t know just hanging out in the back. Plus they have a great little parking lot.“

“The staff was very kind and accommodating here. I ordered a gluten-free vegan cheese veggie pizza. (I'm not vegan, just wasn't feeling like meat) and the gluten-free crust was delicious. The vegan cheese was much too heavy for me, so I recommend asking for light cheese unless you're into that.

The missing star is only for atmosphere and the crowd it draws. A lot of people were high on various kinds of substances, and I was harassed repeatedly by another customer while waiting for my food. I understand it's a cheap food place that is open fairly late into the evening, but so are lots of places, so it's odd.

Not a place to dine-in unless you need to in a pinch. There are all but two tables. Overall very happy with the staff and food!

“I got a cheese pizza slice and i thought it was amazing. I loved the crunchiness of the crust and the cheese fries are very good too. My only critique is that the food is a bit overpriced. I will say that the atmosphere is a bit dirty and could just use some more TLC. But you can’t expect much on such a busy beach. For the location the price is acceptable but be prepared to blow some cash on it“

“Finished at an event up the street and it was late but they were open. walked in and was welcomed, no line at the time. mentioned i don’t eat pork so the homie suggested a couple different pies they could offer so i went with 3 slices of various cheeses and sauces and i gotta say they all delivered well, topped with a diet coke unbeatable.“
