“The 6 of us were seated right away. The staff was knowledgeable (great rundown of the red wine options), attentive, and efficient. We ordered a bunch of dishes and the food was as great as ever. The truffle pizza, short rib, panna cotta, and date cake were the standouts for me. You really can't go wrong at this place.“
“We were walking on the boardwalk and literally just found this place. Looked like an old shack from the outside with some crazy heavy sliding door. Once we walked in we were transported to a beautiful restaurant! The cocktail menu was so alluring as everything was something we’ve never had. If you’re into a sweet cocktails definitely get the rhapsody in red - I couldn’t even taste the alcohol. We got an app to share. The calamari was incredible but the smelt was super fishy. That’s not the restaurants fault tho. After sipping our drinks we decided on a second round and the cookie. The best restaurant a la mode I’ve had is with this delicious cookie. The nut favor really came through. Our server was so pleasant and had a lot of personality. The bathrooms were also clean and interesting. If we weren’t just visiting this would be a frequent spot for sure.“
“Always friendly and clean and cozy. Staff is amazing, they heat up my coffee mug before putting coffee in it and lots of other thoughtful gestures. Lots of great pastry and bread options. Very chill spot to sit inside and they have an outside area as well.“
“I hosted my birthday at SoCal Vibes this past weekend and really can't say enough good things about the experience. The food was delicious, the drinks were great, and the staff (Aerin, Spencer, Emma, and Maya) were all so helpful and accommodating. It sounds like a cliche given the name, but the energy of the space and the employees is exactly what'd you hope for when you think of the phrase "SoCal Vibes."On top of all that, the cost for the birthday was less than half of what a few other comparable bar/restaurants in the Venice/SM area were quoting me. That's not a knock on the other places, SCV is just very reasonably priced if you're looking to host a large group. Highly recommend anyone reading this consider SoCal Vibes whether you're planning an event or just need somewhere to unwind on the west side.“
“Usually adult themed place since it took multiple calls to find out about "meet and greet" passes, the staff answering knew nothing... But we were there for a kid concert. Other then the 2nd opening act saying the F word every other second, the staff during the event, and the reason we were there was top notch. AJA was the girl who likes to swear in front of 10-16 year olds and get one fan supporting her (literally 6 women who woo-hoo'ed her and agreed with things she was talking about kids know nothing about). Gavin Magnus was great though!“
“Here is a Wow, what an incredible experience at High Rooftop Lounge! The views are simply breathtaking - you can see for miles and miles. But what really made our visit stand out was the exceptional customer service from Max. He recommended the chicken wings and burger, and let me tell you, they were OUT OF THIS WORLD! The flavors were bold and delicious, and the presentation was top-notch. Max was attentive, friendly, and made us feel like VIPs. He went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing time. The atmosphere was lively and chic, and the drinks were expertly crafted. High Rooftop Lounge is a must-visit destination in Venice Beach - don't miss out! Big shout out to Max for his exceptional service. 5 stars and a huge thumbs up! "“
“Too bad they will close this location, but they will move to middle west LA. Good luck, guys! Every dish is great, we had the entire menu ?, not all at one time, but we came to this place several times and tried everything. The pizzas are great, the appetizers are very tasty, but our favourite was - as we call it - “Live tiramisu” (the coffee and the cream are poured in front of you). ?? it’s a cozy, friendly place, where you have a good chat with the owner or the manager. Try White Dog (2007 red wine!!)???? and italian prosecco ??“
“Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. They had live music and the games on. They had plenty of craft beer, some ciders, kombucha, and wine on draft as well as cocktails and what looked like great food. Service was attentive and we brought the dog!“
“Stopped here for lunch. Very chill and the service was great. The burger was tasty and the side of potatoes/salad was a nice change compared to other places. Great selection of beer with something for everyone. Would've spent the whole day here if I could. Will definitely come back again if I'm in the area.“
“Really nice place, you’re allowed dogs inside which I loved. I didn’t have a dog but there was a dog there and she was lovely! Watched some of the game there well we ate some breakfast. We also went and had lunch the next day too that’s how much we loved the tacos!“
“Absolutely delicious! We ordered a sushi bowl and a burger and loved both. The spicy tuna was a great choice for the bowl. The fry basket was ginormous too and we couldn't finish everything. Honestly for the quality, taste, and quantity, worth the higher price. Our waitress was great but the other staff was a little frustrating.“
“Had fun happy hour drinks here in the rain during March Madness. They have food TVs and great Happy Hour specials until 7pm daily, including $3 off all cocktails so I tried the Puff Puff Give first, and then their Spicy Margarita- the spicy margarita was one of the best I've had in awhile. My friend's wings were tasty but you only get 5 wings in the HH order and the steak on my nachos was the best part about them. The nachos were supposed to have melted queso per the menu description but I could barely find any cheese on them (and definitely not the melty/queso kind of cheese I was expecting) - please make nachos cheesier! Brunch looks great so I'd go back to try other items.“
“Located in the heart of Venice beach is this great place with great food great music and the best view of the beach and boardwalk , club sandwich is my favorite here plus the burgers as well .I do highly recommend this place for drinks , food or just simply enjoy the view while having the best lunch .“
“First time at waterfront for brunch this weekend and it was wonderful!! Super yummy food the fires were fantastic honestly and mimosas were a lot of fun! Nice vibes and PHENOMENAL service by Emma R, she took amazing care of us our whole experience and really made us feel welcome. Emma was so warm and helpful—made our day! Highly recommend :)“
“Great spot to eat, the food here is great and the service is always good. The service is great and I like the dimmed lights. I took off a star because you can only order off the happy hour menu if you're sitting at the bar. Which is ridiculous because it's so good, it's just really annoying.“
“Really nice place. They have a cute courtyard at the back,in the shade. It’s really lovely and cooler than outside. There was a long queue to get in, so I assume it must be a popular place.I ordered a Hollywood Bowl which is essentially a chicken and cranberry salad with A LOT of rocket! The food tasted good. The sauce was good too. The portion was too big for me… and I felt quite upset about the food wastage…Staff was great! Very friendly, with a smile, and they were under the pump!“
“The best spot for lunch; bustling with energy, and despite the crowd, the staff welcomed me with warm smiles. The crispy chicken sandwich was standout, with just the right crunch and a tangy sauce that elevated it beyond the ordinary. It’s a place where the food, service, and ambiance come together to create a memorable dining experience. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu.“
