“I always enjoy the food at Manhattan Bch Urban Plates. Everything is delicious, nicely presented and is hot when it arrives at your table. The restaurant is very clean and has a great ambiance. And I can’t say enough about Sandro. He is friendly, supremely attentive and leaves nothing to chance. Consider yourself lucky if Sandro is working the day you visit this location.“
“Good food. We ordered the chicken Cesar salad, pepperoni pizza and truffle pizza.The first two were very delicious. The brie-truffle pizza was simply alright.But lets talk about that homemade giant cinnamon roll though …. I’d drive all the way there to satisfy that craving any day!The cappuccino was good too. First time in LA I found a decent capp, I usually order cappuccinos and end up with lattés !The location is perfect, overlooking the water. Would absolutely recommend.“
“Decent atmosphere, kinda dark and fairly loud. Food was over all good. The meatballs were good, but nothing crazy. The ricotta wip was a good addition to them and the bread was good and crispy. The mushrooms lasagna was absolutely over powered by the balsamic and wayyyy too sweet. The egg pizza was delicious from the dough to the toppings. The desserts however were best described by my friend as grocery store desserts. Tiramisu was ok, missing half a layer... Strawberry shortcake a hard pass. Neither worth it imo.“
“I'm looking forward to my next stop at MB Post. I had a reservation for 3 at 7:15 on a Saturday night. We arrived a little early, checked in and waited at the bar for our table. The bar was crowded and the staff busy but our drink order was taken quickly. Cocktails were delicious, #Blessed will be my go-to here. It took a bit longer to get our drinks than we had anticipated. We waited for our table about 20 minutes beyond the time of our reservation and we had to circle back to the host to inquire how much longer before we would be seated. Our table was in the corner next to the kitchen and a service nook, loud and busy; next time I'll make a note to request a table away from the kitchen. It's a boisterous restaurant and the corner amplified the energy. We ordered the carrots, gnocchi, green beans and biscuits---all were incredibly delicious with the green beans being our favorite. Our server was prompt, courteous, food arrived without a long delay. We enjoyed Lola cab sauv with dinner. I gave the 4 stars for the service at the bar our need to check on our table. Overall a great experience and I will certainly be back.“
“Solid neighborhood seafood-focused pub-style restaurant. Island style, Tommy Bahamas vibe decor, lots of TVs, but not intrusive. Table and booth seating and lots of bar seats. We have been for early dinner twice and do not miss their happy hour or Taco Tuesday! Great prices on apps and drinks. We love the Coconut Shrimp and Chipotle Calamari.“
“I love Nick's Manhattan Beach. Great staff, wonderful atmosphere, and close to everything. However, I wish they had a few more vegan friendly options. It would make it a place I'd frequent more often.. As so many places near by do not have vegan options.“

“I had the trout dish, spinach and mash potatoes. I would've given it five stars, but the flavor was a bit unseasoned. However, it was perfectly cooked and fresh. I would of course return and try more things! My mentor had the French toast dish, we came here on her mention and it was wonderful. We saw outside and could see the ocean from our view - the overall ambience was incredible. I seen a sign saying that it was open all night and I think that is really awesome! I can't wait to return. “My daughters (4-7) were spellbound by the “inside / outside at the same time” space. And I absolutely loved the plant filled atmosphere. Food was above average too! The one hiccup was that we ordered a flavoured coffee flight & they were all iced! Wife said she knew, but I didn’t catch that they weren’t hot coffee. So people really like cold coffee?? (Wife loved them. I know I’m the weird one.)“
“Stopped in for a couple of happy hour drinks and apps. The outdoor patio seating was nice. The atmosphere was great. The drinks were pretty good, but more on the sweet side.We had the fries and wings, both of which were pretty good.The service was ok, but both the bartender and our server seemed very annoyed of everyone. “I can’t say enough about Lido! I personally love the food, atmosphere and staff. I have also had several events in the back patio area, including a monthly Kiwanis meeting, and they are always seamless. Lisa, Carlos, Javier and the rest of the team always make sure everything runs smoothly. If you are just going to dinner or throwing a party this is a great spot!“
“I'd eat the chicken tenders everyday if I lived here, they're like nothing I've ever had. Absolutely get a basket of these if you're here. The server Dragon (yes that's his name) is the best server I think ive had. He has an amazing personality. Being a 49ers fan helped too. Lol.“

“We came here on Valentine's Day to celebrate and ordered the pork chop which was deliciously flavorful and seasoned well. My partner loved the lobster risotto although we wish the portioning on the risotto was a bit more and less asparagus puree. The peach cobbler was a perfect finisher! The manager was very attentive and so was a runner which immediately brought me a new utensil once my entree arrived. Would highly recommend the chicken empanadas and our server made a suggestion for the crispy rice which was delicious and comes in generous portions of 4.“
“They have excellent Philly Cheese Steaks! Homemade chips are bomb, as well as their tots. I got a chicken taco salad bowl last time for dinner, it really hit the spot. They serve beer and wine (no liquor), but as far as bars go, the food is great. Definitely reccomend.“
“Update from April 2024: Birthday lunch celebration at Joey. Place was packed on a Tuesday lunch time which seems crazy given the prices. I tried the chicken Katsu salad for the very first time. Very tasty and delicious and good amount of crunch. Especially liked the finely sliced peppers that give this sweet peanut sauce a nice kick. My companion had the ravioli bianco that came with a bunch of shrimp. It was a cream sauce based. I think it was worth it, since the plate was completely cleaned. Good attentive service.Jan 2023 review: You can always rely on Joeys high quality and tasty food. I have the poke bowl with ahi and it was amazing but not sure if it is worth $25.“
“Last night my family: son, daughter-in-law, two teenage grandchildren, my wife and myself, had an outstanding dinner. Son and daughter-in-law are vegan, and the teen grandchildren are, let us say, picky eaters while my wife and I are more or less foodies. Every dish and drink order was raved about, ranging from the shared 7 cheese Mac & mushroom starter and the avacado hummus with just cooked pita bread, the blueberry lemonade the kids enjoyed, the farmers bowl my son had and the pasta dish my daughter-in-law enjoyed to my wife's simple fish and chips and my salmon. The desserts were also a hit from a burnt brown sugar cinnimon confection to a chocolate budino to a wonderful version of an apple turnover. Everything was a hit, which with this diverse group of eaters is amazing.“

“Well it lived up to the hype. From one chef to another..bravovery well executed. Took a little long to get my food, and I would want a little more sauce and ramen and..ok fish too for the $48 it costs...but that sauce was amazing...some spicy fish tomato sauce or something whatever it was it was bomb. The desserts look tempting...Definitely some of the best food I've had for a while. I'll be back for sure..hopefully with a group so I can taste all their dishes.“
