“Love and Salt is a great restaurant if you are looking for loud and energetic! It is not romantic or for a large family. It is very overpriced to me. Great chop salad, Great pizza's and Pasta. The drinks are way over priced 24.00! My son and I eat out a lot and like boogie restaurants but for 2 people and it was way over 200.00! But for a one time experience it is worth it.“

“I was recommended to go to this place from a mate who used to go there all the time when he lived in LA before it was renovated. my first night in America and This was my go to venue and I can say I was definitely NOT disappointed. There was an awesome vibe, I was on my own so I just asked for a spot at the bar. The food was awesome a good variety to select and what I had I was really happy with. Above all else Amber at the bar was a total gem. she was engaging. She was Friendly, was busy, She knew her craft and was very welcoming. Amber is credit to the owners and what they're are building. Nacho, the best server on the planet, is a huge reason I love this place so much. He goes above and beyond with his friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring service. His positive attitude brightens your morning and really sets the tone for the day. If only the world had more people like him!

Must-try items? The Medici coffee is unique around here and so worth it (recommend asking it to be slightly less sweet), and the breakfast potatoes are an absolute dream. Love, love, love this gem of a cafe!“

“The fish bar is in a great location the bartender Rose makes amazing drinks she friendly & attentive. She knows you by name. The food was great atmosphere is relaxed all the staff treats you like family. Highly recommend!“

“I checked in the Shade Hotel Manhattan Beach at night. I ate alone at Zinc in the hotel 1F for dinner. The man at the bar was very pleasant service. I couldn't drink, so I ordered a slice of lemon in the hot water. And I ordered Crispy Skin Norweigan Salmon. There was a risotto under the crispy grilled salmon w skin, which was a little thick, but the taste was mild and easy to eat. This dish was well served with the hot lemon water I ordered. I liked the place where I could relax alone. I'm thinking about what to eat next time.“

I ordered a bowl of tortilla soup & the namesake burger bowl [mixed greens, jack & cheddar cheese blend, red onions, tomatoes & pickles topped with sliced turkey patty (rather than beef) & scallions & served with homemade ranch dressing].

Both menu items are without avocado (?) upon request for health reasons.

Before I checked in, I needed a place to work remotely, and the staff went above and beyond to help me connect to the Wi-Fi. They were incredibly attentive, making sure my coffee cup was always full. I ordered waffles and eggs—both were delicious, though I only managed to snap a photo of the waffles! A unique touch was the check, which is presented inside a book where guests are encouraged to leave a note. Overall, it’s a charming spot for both work and a great meal.“
