“One of the best restaurants around. From the Yellow Tail Crudo to the Farmers Market Peas & Burrata di Puglia to the Salt Spring Mussels to the Duck Egg Pizza. “It was such a lovely venture out for my Mom’s birthday, on Friday. Alex and Dominique (management) are quite lovely, and helped make our dining experience all the more, a joy! Love the new additions to the menu, particularly the Mini Steak French Dips. The Chicken Parmesan was excellent with the twist of those ‘pepper-like sweet’ tomatoes. While staying at Westdrift, I really enjoyed my experiences at Jute.

Service was friendly and attentive.

Food hit the spot:

Turkey Club: was a large toasted cheesy sandwich. And overall had nice ingredients inside of it. Plenty of fries came with the order.

Jute Burger: a large half pounder. For five dollars extra, I ordered bacon and it came with five slices of crispy pork. The ingredients inside were fresh and filling.

Korean BBQ Tacos - generously filled with meat and toppings. Serrano peppers on side made it absolute delicious.

Salmon Crudo - fresh light fish, popping with flavor. Good starter with a nice contrast of crispy chips.

Overall, a good to great hotel restaurant. With so many great restaurants in the area to choose from, Jute should not be overlooked.“
