“Definitely a 5/5 experience overall. My wife and I ordered:- Mushroom Choriqueso: the chips it came with were freshly delicious. The size of the bowl the dip came in was just right. The dip was not too oily. Also came with a small salsa, though it needed something more solid in it.- Dos Gringas (al pastor tacos): the highlight were the tortillas - perfection! Lots of meat. Lots of delicious sauce though a bit too much- Mexican Kale Salad: I’d say this salad is more American than Mexican. For my wife this dish was perfect though for me it was too subtle, though still very good- El Verde mocktail - perfection & refreshing. Try it- Chef Jose’s flan with rompope - seriously the best flan ever. You can taste the alcohol from the rompope, which complements the flan. A serious must try!Our server was great, though they overall were grabbing our old dishes too quickly. The place has nice private booths.“

“This place is definitely one of the best in the South Bay! When it comes to boba, the milk tea is great, they have some unique flavors along with the classics, but what surprised me is the boba pearls themselves, which are ginormous, chewy, and flavorful but still come up the straw easily and frequently! What's more is the amazing atmosphere! This place resembles a cozy coffee shop with their comfy furniture and paintings, which is a nice twist! They also sell some pastries, which looked pretty good through the display (although I didn't try any).I would highly recommend this place to others in the area.“

My only "complaint" is the # of choices. It seriously takes me longer to decide what I'd like versus consuming whatever it is I end up with. “One of my favorite places and a must stop shop when I'm in Manhattan beach. FROZEN BANANAS. Hands down don't know anywhere that makes better frozen bananas. This menu item alone deserves 5 stars. Every theme park I go to - I always get their frozen bananas... but once I found this location , never again did I purchase a frozen banana anywhere else but there. They have the BEST. First of all- their bananas are frozen (so I do not recommend this to people with sensitive and poor dentures)... second their banana to chocolate ratio is PERfect!! It's like a whole Chuck of chocolate for every bite. And plus there are options other than peanuts. For my peanut allergy friends who can never eat a frozen banana because they always automatically come with peanuts - these can come with almonds or sprinkles or even just plain chocolate. I always order Frozen banana - dark chocolate with almonds Everything else seems amazing but I'm just going to post on how much I love this place for their frozen bananas. DONE.“

“Best meal I've had in years. Every once in a while you stumble upon a place like this. This hits my sweet spot for a restaurant. Nothing pretentious or fancy for no reason. Just super high quality food, prepared with care and creativity. Every dish we had was excellent. Just the right balance of flavors and textures: not too salty, sweet, or strong. Everything cooked to perfection - fried mushrooms were just cooked enough on the inside but not overcooked, and perfectly crisp on the outside. The kabocha squash was the perfect texture. We loved the chunky cut cucumber dish, unique! Lobster miso ramen was so delicious and creative! Who has ever heard of that? So much I want to learn from this chef. Even the plain brown rice was perfectly prepared. You can taste the quality in the ingredients, probably local and organic. Service was perfect, just attentive enough without ever interrupting. Top 3 most memorable meals I've ever had. I get the sense the chef here could have Michelin stars if they wanted that, but have opted for a less stressful and pretentious operation. I'm so glad they chose this path. Truly fantastic experience. Had a wonderful date with my girlfriend!Dietary restrictions: Dedicated gluten free, 0 reaction.“

“The chicken strips are amazing, the chicken sandwich are amazing. I've had so far the hot honey, mild, and original. I would say that the hot honey would be the best, still need to try the other flavors. The mild was ok, it was more of the seasoning instead of a sauce which was kind of disappointing, but still enjoyable. The fries were decent, but to be fair it would've been better if I would've eaten the fries then and there instead of waiting to get home. Overall, the service is great, I ordered online and as soon as I got there it was ready for pickup. Great vegan chicken spot!“

Time for Dad to give them a shot too. The location is awesome. The staff was super nice. Great vibe. Clean and quick joint. Plenty of drink options. Look, I'm a guy who gladly exchanges money for quality. And almost $8 for a taco near the ocean would work IF they weren't so small. I mean, there was more onion than protein. They left a bad taste in my mouth, no pun intended. I am an accountant and business owner and fully get the overhead deal. But this felt exorbitant. That's my only ding. A great place to meet with a guest/buddy/date for lunch. I will be back. The tacos were delicious! As were the chips. Great if the person who puts the onions on the tacos switches with the person who puts the protein on the tacos.“
