The staff took my order and brought me my drink very quickly. They weren't super charming, but some people like the more low key and chill waiters. The food was also brought out exceptionally quickly.I had a bowl of shoyu ramen and it was pretty good. A solid 7.5. It's not the best ramen I've had, but I think it was pretty good. We were the first guests on a Sunday and it was a delightful experience. We had our pick of tables and it was a nice day so we decided to sit in the sun. By the time we decided on what we wanted to try, we had to move tables more into the shade as the sun was really beating down on us. Luckily there were still only a few guests so they were able to accommodate. We tried the classic combo with edamame, the cajun ramen and the garlic truffle. We are returning Redondo beach expats. We chanced SLR for lunch. We were welcomed, seated and our order taken promptly. Our spicy tuna roll and the The Shoyu on Fire Ramen bowl were both AMAZING! I grow Carolina Reapers back on my farm in NZ (along with 12 hot other pepper varieties). The level of heat, with our dishes, did not disappoint.
