“Part of a chain, the Manhattan Beach Silverlake Ramen serves up a solid meal of Ramen (also saves me from driving to Sawtelle Blvd to eat). The Ramen is well prepared, properly spiced/flavored, and served at a proper temperature. This is the go to dish when you come here. I get the Blaze with pork because I want the extra spice level and it warms me up in the winter.
The rice bowl and the appetizers are all tasty and well prepared with good sized portions.
Service is good and they will attend to your needs but the wait staff is in between a lot of tables so it can get slightly spotty during service rushes. They will drop water carafes on the table so you do not need to ask for refills. There is a Silverlake Rewards app that is great to use to get free items if you consistently dine here, so I suggest downloading it. The points update quickly after you pay for a meal.
The environment is inside but the end of the restaurant is open to the outside of the Manhattan Village outside mall area. There are plenty of heat lamps if you are near the outside so you will stay warm. The bathrooms are clean and well serviced.
Definitely will return to dine here.“

“Got the lemon June drink and the truffle fried rice to go and both were really delicious. The rice Had pork and sausage in it and came with great side of in house soy sauce on the side as well as utensils and the lemon June drink had peach purée and it was super refreshing, a bit in the pricey side for everything but it was all super good so I’d definitely come back and try more, inside was fairly small but the decor was super nice and service was good and on point so I’d definitely recommend this spot“

My wife and I were exploring LA and staying in LA for our sixth wedding anniversary we stopped here for lunch and we loved it, I got the chicken and beef large bowel and my wife got the veggie bowl and it was delicious. “I absolutely love this place. Marugame Udon is delicious, fresh and affordable. The only thing I'd change is that it isnt comfy but guess what. Me who rarely goes tp a place with not the best seating and ambience goes with excitement. The staff is wonderful and if you go after 3 there is almost no kne there and it is my favorite time to go between the usual mealtime. No wait and ample seating. Parking and even so.e outdoor seating and a cute area for kids to play. As for the food, I always get the beef and at least one tempura sweet potato. If im splurging I load up on the shrimp tempura some gyoza and other assorted goodies. Oh and add the hard boiled egg to your Udon. I dump the leftover tempura dipping save into my bowl. I always get the large and I always have enough for the next day lunch.
If you are visiting friends or family at Little company hospital it is an easy walk across the street and you do t have to lose your parking spot.
