The 3 day brined smoked fried chicken-different taste, with soy and Chiles, a must!!!The Peruvian pork belly with sweet potato , Criolla and crispy quinoa , love it! And the Grilled NY steak with green garlic chimichurri, chorizo aioli and pommes pont neuf, thick cut fries…my son prefers over the fried chicken.“

“The food was very good. I dined solo and had chicken liver mousse, the yellowtail crudo, the peach and tomato burrata salad, and the crab cake. The mousse was rich and interestingly paired with pickled blackberries and honeycomb. The crudo was delicious with the refreshing citrus. The salad too felt very fresh and like I was holding on to late summer. The crab cake was good, the sauce had a nice balance of spice and sweetness, it was very salty which is not unexpected with crab. The service was kind and attentive. I was very pleased with my experience and would return again if I'm back in Santa Monica.“

I was in LA for a week and ate there 3 nights. I would have gone more but they're closed on Monday and Tuesdays. “Went to coucou with a friend to celebrate my birthday. This is on Main Street and there's parking on thr street and there's an underground parking lot on Navy with great service and a flat rate of $9/hr.

The place is small and I went around 6pm so right after happy hour so it was a bit loud but it calmed down after. There is a 3 for $33 deal that is pretty amazing for happy hour. Pretty much all the appetizers. You are allowed to pick 1 drink and 2 food items. I got the classic aperol, it had a little too much aperol for my taste but still good and refreshing.

We got the Zucchini bingets and they were tasty, cheesy. Almost like a fritter but not so much. Also got the fries as well. They were good.

I got the mussels marinere with the coconut cream sauce and honestly I love when places offer mussels in a different kind of sauce than just white wine and garlic. The toast was perfection. My friend got the grilled chicken Paillard and she liked it, came with a side of red sauce. I'll be back for the happy hour to try the apps with seafood. I didn't get w chance to since my friend doesn't eat it. They even gave me a the chocolate mousse with a candle.“

“This place was great. We really enjoyed the food, service and the entertainment. The piano player was a great touch. Went on a weekend with a reservation and got right in. You have to check in with the host stand right by the valet and they'll tell you to ring the bell by the side door down a few stairs. We had the Pappardelle Bolognaise and a wedge salad, both were amazing. The valet is really convenient but super expensive, even for LA. We'd stop back in some day for sure!“

I really wanted to give five stars, but I just wish the owner would fix the A/C. I feel really bad that the staff have to work in such hot temperatures in the summer, especially the gentleman working the grill. Please fix it for them and I'll be happy to leave another 5-star review :)“

“I’ve been wanting to check this place out for years. It was absolutely worth it. The staff were warm and welcoming, and took the time to explain the wines and dishes in depth, despite an absolutely packed house.

If you have to wait for a table, consider yourself lucky. Getting to hang out with other patrons with a view of the sunset, enjoying the chatter and ambiance and cozy lighting — it was spectacular. I’ve only felt a street scene so neighborly and welcoming like this in Europe! They really do an excellent job with the outdoor eating and drinking.

“Happy New Year Y’all!!🥂✨🤘🏼🥳 As many of you know I’ve been playing piano and singing at Casa Ado in Venice for the last 3.5 years, for a total of 700+ shows. There have been two paintings with me in them, a painted recording of this era of my life! It is unclear what will be happening with the restaurant going forward, as there may be some ownership change. Everyone is sort of holding their breath, and for now, music has not been included in January of 2020. There is talk it could go either way in Feb. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Thank you all who have come and supported me these past few years on Washington Square and I will keep everyone posted as to what settles out in the next bit of time.
