“First time here, great little wine bar located in Redondo Beach. Walked in on a Saturday night and sat down on the comfortable sofas they had near the enterance.

Nice array of wines, the server was friendly and helpful and we took her recommendations. Ordered a bottle of wine to share instead of by the glass since we had a lot of time for convo, small corkage fee applied but was worth it.

Place was quiet when we arrived but soon got crowded so the noise level went up but wasnt a problem.... Fyi. Most of the customers were regulars and I could see why this is a great spot to be on the weekends👍

Ordered a small charcuterie board also that was more than adequate, a great place to unwind and relax after a long day🤙Highly recommend... 5 stars.“

“An extremely lively and trendy lounge-type of restaurant on the Venice/Santa Monica border very close to the water. It is actually a block away from the beach. At night they move the tables and the DJ booth turns on and it turns into a mini nightclub and most of the patrons we saw were they to pick up champagne to share and drink on site, the food here seemed an afterthought. The crowd here is very young, most people are in their 20s. You’ll probably be one of the older ones if you are in your mid 30s like myself. It’s also very loud and it’s more a place to go with friends or a date, it’s not really a foodie destination, it’s more of a lively place to spend the evening. Parking is honestly really hard in this area so we took a Waymo because we live a mile away. Aside from that you’ll most likely need to pay for parking. Our waitress was very polite, but our food items arrived pretty slowly.

I started off with the Chicory Salad. I thought it was pretty nice, it was really nice and light start, a perfect salad for spring. For my entree I chose the Burger with a side of Broccolini because I had heard a lot about it. It was very good but not one of the best burgers I’ve had in this part of town. I would say this is a great spot to bring a date, but it’s not really somewhere that is food focused, more a place to drink and order some items if you’re hungry.“

Too much food, no space between tables making it too crammed and no privacy. This was Valentines after all. And there's the nut, what is it like on a normal night? There have been two paintings with me in them, a painted recording of this era of my life! It is unclear what will be happening with the restaurant going forward, as there may be some ownership change. Everyone is sort of holding their breath, and for now, music has not been included in January of 2020. There is talk it could go either way in Feb. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Thank you all who have come and supported me these past few years on Washington Square and I will keep everyone posted as to what settles out in the next bit of time. “Very good breakfast to start the day! The buffet looked so-so, so we opted to order fresh. My 2 egg breakfast came with hash browns & chicken sausage, which was a good value for $16. My daughter's "volcano" French toast looked disappointingly small & not overflowing with berries. We had to ask for the almonds which it's supposed to come with. It tasted good, but not a good value for $22. Coffee was good & strong & they obliged my request for a to-go coffee. Overall, a nice breakfast, but expensive unless you have $18pp hotel credit.“
