Coucou Reviews
Great happy hour pricing and options. Food was tasty, but somewhat uninspired. For us, the ceviche (not happy hour) and the prawns were highlights.
We had such a great experience at Coucou! The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We loved everything we ordered, and the Zucchini Beignets were particularly amazing!! You can tell a lot of care goes into both the food and the overall dining experience. I’ll definitely be returning!!
Such a gem in Venice! I went with my wife a few months ago and it was INCREDIBLE! Perfectly done steak and great cocktails….. we will definitely be back!

Coucou is a charming French bistro that offers a delightful dining experience with a menu featuring classic French dishes like Dorade, Mussels, and Steak Frites, all expertly prepared with authentic flavors and a modern twist. The ambiance is typical of a French bistro, making it perfect for a celebratory meal or a romantic date night. The interior is beautiful and artful, enhancing the overall vibe of the restaurant. The staff, including a friendly hostess and attentive servers, provide excellent service for a memorable visit. Customers have enjoyed dishes like the zucchini puffs, shrimp, and branzino, with many praising the friendly staff, especially the bartender, whose cocktails are noted to be perfectly balanced. The bar area is welcoming, and the drinks are amazing. Visitors often sit at the bar to enjoy the great drinks and delicious food. The happy hour menu is highly praised, offering three generous items for $33, with flavors and presentation exceeding typical expectations. While some dishes, like the veggie French dip, are overly spiced, others such as onion soup, steak frites, and Brussels sprouts are well-liked. The cauliflower side dish received mixed reviews. Overall, Coucou remains a neighborhood gem, ideal for both a fantastic meal and a cozy, friendly dining experience.
