“Amazing food! I haven’t had a good meal like that in a while! I recently checked out some of the well rated restaurants in LA, such as RVR and I have to say this is hands down superior. The food, the vibe, and the server was also very attentive and friendly. The portions are very small and I felt like for the price, they could be a little larger.

Highly recommend and will go again!

The Dominic de cocco drink has probably been my favorite. And then on Wednesdays and Thursdays the chicken parm sandwich is a must try.”

“Everything about this place is amazing. We were coming straight from the airport and ended up being 45 minutes late for our booking because of delays. Even though it was a Friday, the team accommodated us straight. The Roman focaccia is thin and crispy and perfect with the burrata. The peaches are the definition of California and go perfect with the salt and the burrata. For the mains the Margherita is light as can be with a fluffy crust. The limone, cacio e pepe and strangulate were amazing and the cacio e pepe was as good if not better than what I’ve had in Rome. The negroni was the ideal pairing.”

I guarantee you’ll have an incredible meal here. If the carrot karkiage is on the menu please get it. Same with the beef shank & bok choy. And for dessert if you see the carrot & buckwheat cake congratulations because oh my god your life is gonna be different forever. What an incredible experience! Cant wait to go back”

“Winston House is a nice gem added to the community! The ambience is great from! It has a speakeasy vibe with a twist! We sat upstairs and I highly recommend that because you're able to see the DJ, omg the DJ was so good!!! Really set the perfect vibe with his set choice! The restaurant also turn into a “club” around 10:30pm. Dope concept overall!! The sledgehammer was my favorite and the espresso martini was a close 2nd. The stuffed mushrooms were delicious and the short rib agnolotti was meh. Needed more sauce and I'd prefer it be hotter when it was served. The strawberry shortcake was a little bland. But the experience is what it's about here! Our server was fantastic and we were able to meet the manager Robert who too delivered top tier service to my friend and I. We would return for sure!”

“I had the Best Mate Bowl with spicy chicken and it did not disappoint! I loved all veggies in the bowl.. Brussels sprouts, mushrooms, onions, kale, along with farro and scrambled eggs. If you are into healthy clean eating this is the place. The first restaurant I been to where you place your order via your phone. I would definitely go back!”

“The best place on the Westside to get The Lord's Chicken Sandwich. Been going since they opened a few years ago and it's still the go to. The Drive-Thru is efficient and in these trying times, they go ABOVE AND BEYOND health and safety measures to limit physical customer interaction. The only fast-food place I've been to that serves you your food on a literal tray! Food is always on point and tastes as fresh as when God created it. Plus if you sign up for the Chick-fil-A One app, Amanda is always hooking it up with free food because she knows what's up. P.S. Make sure you stay checking those receipts for Free Chicken Sandwiches!!!”

“Good coffee and really nice guy that was working who just made it very relaxing when I was having a hard morning. Sometimes you really need a cup of coffee but it can be so annoying trying to go get one at a shop. Guy this morning had a nice smile, and was quick to offer a couple things I wanted but was too out of it to ask for! So genuine and chill. 1 up for the man buns!”

“Some of the best empanadas I’ve had since coming back to the states! This place is something that could easily be overlooked within all of the shops and food in Venice. It is worth the stop and deserves 5 stars.”

“Because it was until 6 o'clock, I couldn't have the coffee I wanted, so I had Americano, and it was a perfect coffee with a slight acidity and nutty flavor. It was nice to eat because the atmosphere and seating were all right.

Parking: Parking is in a public parking lot... You have to pay about $6(?) to get it. (It’s a bit much to walk)
There is a place where you can park for free for 2 hours… It will be hard to find. I just recommend paid parking.

Kid-friendliness: Because I don’t have children… I think it will be ambiguous when the child comes.”

“Had a great meal! Forwent ordering potstickers in order to try the enticingly named Gang of 4 ×4 - a delicious decision! The Mao's Hometown was just-right spicy, and I'm sure they put more than $2 extra shrimp on my order. Service friendly and prompt, loved the art. I felt as though I had wandered back into college in the early '70s.”

“Visited Venice Beach early in the morning and after a nice long walk along the beach, we were hungry and decided to take a short walk to Tacos Por Favor!

I got the Carne Asada burrito and my brother got the chicken burrito with the chips.

The dips were excellent, the prices were justified and the quantities were great! Recommended to all!”

“Yum!!! I don’t know how this guy does it, but he’s making absolutely delicious and addictive pizza. A mix between Chicago bar pizza and New Haven thin crust. I ordered a double sausage, green peppers, mushrooms, and basil pizza. I asked for an extra crispy crust too. Perfection! He makes his own sauce and dough and with 2 painfully small countertop ovens, turns out mouthwatering pie. I’ve gone back a number of times now so he’s the real deal. I have the nerve to give him an 8.0 on the Barstool Sports scale. This guy needs a bigger place. No seating inside, just outside.

Oh, the pepperoni calzone was also excellent, but with pizza this good, why? And the pizza was only $15 bucks! If the owner gets a bigger place with proper ovens, watch out!”

“Had an outstanding night watching Chuck Prophet and the Mission Express at the Venice West. Venice West is an intimate venue with a perfect layout for live performances. Dinner was enjoyable and the staff was helpful and friendly. Now for the main event... Chuck Prophet and the Mission Express put on a heck of show. The band was tight and rocked the house. Every song was a hit and our group was blown away. Thanks for making great music! Looking forward to returning again for another memorable evening of great music and food.”

“This is another gem I take visitors to all the time, mostly for a late breakfast. I come here for 20+ years. I gotta be honest: If you are looking for the best ... whatever food .... in town, don't bother to go. This place is about atmosphere and having a good time. The food is good, and we had an amazing time with our waiter Shilly yesterday - and left well fed and with $100 for the four of us fairly priced - given the location I would have expected more. Wow - five stars for OK food? Absolutely. In my very own rating scheme, it is mandatory for five stars that I would be willing to do a 30+ min detour just to go to this particular place. And I did. Many times. And will do it again. We've been to the Ivy's in Beverly Hills the night before. It would be totally unfair to compare on a mere culinary basis. Go here - prepared to have a good time - and you will.”

“The naughty pie: 5/5. Can’t go wrong with hot honey and pepperoni combo, and the ricotta helps balance the stronger flavors.

The sunset square: 5/5. This one surprised me. It’s simple but satisfying. Very cheesy and the sweet marinara is great; I wish it had a little more sauce though.

Meat lovers: 4/5. Solid slice, very par for the course for a meat pizza. Great variety of meats but none really stand out, but that’s not a bad thing.

2 slices will get you pretty full, 1 may not be enough. There’s a lot behind the building you can park at as well as some street parking.”
