“Absolutely delicious food. Chulita Bowl was fantastic, hibiscus mimosa and latte were so good. Friendly staff too! Thanks for the wonderful brunch. 🙏🧜🏽♀️”
“As a New Yorker, my standards for breakfast & brunch are high. I’m so glad I came here! There’s a freshness about the atmosphere and the food selection is unique and tasty.
I got the curry with bokchoi and we had fried for the table.
They had matcha, which went perfectly with the creamy-with-a-kick meal. 🥰I wish I had 2 stomachs so I didn’t have to leave a bite uneaten, but I could only get through have of this lovely meal.
Absolutely will be revisiting when I’m back in the West Coast.🫶🏾”
“We had the Caeser salad and their famous burger. The burger is REALLY good. The patty’s meat quality is excellent and of a large size. The burger is tasty and juicy. They have a good selection of wines. We had a skin contact wine that paired really well with our meal.”
“Brought some friends there to watch playoff football and a ufc fight. Ended up having the best filet mignon of my life. So tender you could slice through it with the side of your fork. Had fresh oysters from Virginia, which I was told are only $2 on Tuesday or Wednesday (have to fact check here). And probably the best thing on the menu is the bacon wrapped plantains, not a lot of food, but every bite is heaven. Wife loved her fancy drinks, but I prefer scotch.”

“Amazing food! I haven’t had a good meal like that in a while! I recently checked out some of the well rated restaurants in LA, such as RVR and I have to say this is hands down superior. The food, the vibe, and the server was also very attentive and friendly. The portions are very small and I felt like for the price, they could be a little larger.
Highly recommend and will go again!

“This place was such a pleasant surprise! We ordered 2 drinks and 3 food items (char kway teow, crispy Sichuan beef, and ayam goreng) plus both rices every single thing was amazing, not a single dud! Service was the perfect mix of let you enjoy your meal, but they check on you frequently enough that you never catch yourself wondering “where’s my server?” Will definitely be back!”

“If I could give the service rating 6 stars, I would. This shop feels like it was started by a bunch of your friends from the neighborhood. Everything I've gotten there has been delicious too. The Dominic de cocco drink has probably been my favorite. And then on Wednesdays and Thursdays the chicken parm sandwich is a must try.”
“TLDR: Good coffee, a little pricey. Worth a visit on your Venice beach outing.
I had very high hopes since this place came recommended. However parking is mess so it's not a convenient spot to get by. Also be prepared to wait for as much as 15 minutes, even if 2 people are ahead in the line. The staff takes their coffee seriously and does not take shortcuts.
Their espresso is stellar. Cappuccino is better than average (for the price). Latte is better than average too (for the price). 3 drinks for $30 with tip places this shop at the premium end of the spectrum.
Would I go back? Definitely for the espresso and other drinks that I have not tried, but more likely when I am already in the neighborhood.
Service is friendly and nice. There are signs that discourage you to bring your laptop and prefer that you do not work there. It's meant to spark conversation. I felt welcome and not rushed, even though it was a chaotic visit, 10 minutes before closing.”
“Food was great but our server did not seem to care that we were there. The only time she came to our table was when we initially sat down and when we had to ask for our check. Unfortunate because I usually love Wabi and had friends in town. Their only comment that it was one of the worst serving experiences to date.”
“OWA Venice is an absolute gem — fun, stylish, and full of amazing people and energy. From the moment we walked in, we felt the vibrant atmosphere and were surrounded by beauty in every sense.
I have to give a special shoutout to Camila, who has been nothing but amazing since the days of Belles Beach. She continues to be the same incredibly kind, genuine, and radiant person. Seeing her again at OWA and experiencing her warmth made the night even more special.
And Amir, what an incredible host! He and Camila went above and beyond to make me and my friend feel welcomed and celebrated. Their energy, care, and attention truly made it a night to remember. Can’t wait to go back!”

“Ate here on Monday and wow everything about this place is BOMB. Every dish was beyond incredible & the service was so so great. Literally could not recommend enough. I guarantee you’ll have an incredible meal here. If the carrot karkiage is on the menu please get it. Same with the beef shank & bok choy. And for dessert if you see the carrot & buckwheat cake congratulations because oh my god your life is gonna be different forever. What an incredible experience! Cant wait to go back”
“Venice Cucina in Venice Beach is amazing! Antonio went out of his way to make our engagement dinner extra special. The food was incredible—fresh, made-to-order pasta and perfect pizza. The cozy patio with string lights made it feel magical. Good guy, good food. Highly recommend!”
“on a rainy day, the soft lighting, gentle music, and comfortable seating provided a nice cozy escape from outside. the service was incredible from all - I love when the owner is out taking care of customers too and especially when they make you feel right at home from the first impression.
we ordered the old world wine tasting trio special, focaccia bread, arugula salad, mini corn dogs, and swordfish which were all delicious.
at the end they brought over a birthday cupcake from their connected bakery as we were celebrating a birthday. the frosting was my favorite kind with a really rich flavor and texture.”
“My new favorite Thai food spot! I always order yellow curry so that’s what my review is based on. I am vegetarian so chose it with tofu. I had additional requests and they came through. I asked to make it mild and leave onions out and add vegetables too. Got everything I asked for about $15 out the door ! Sauce was thick and tasty, rice included. Atmosphere wasn’t the best but I had my food to go anyway. Waited about 15 minutes. Worth every minute and penny. We found parking in the back.
Vegetarian options: I had yellow curry
Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian”
“Thoroughly enjoyed my pizza. Ordered the 'Jake' pizza with no cheese-- substitute mushrooms. It was delicious! Everyone working was so sweet. Shout out to Meghan, Zoey, Cory, Sunny, Henry, and Rob for exceptional and friendly interactions and service! I will definitely return to try some more menu items.”
“Authentically unique and super sweet! Let's talk matcha.... it's imported from Japan and not frozen, so it's super potent and not so bitter. The customer service is super on point and it's unique because there is a skin care boutique as you enter on the right and then towards the back and yoga studio. So very neat! This place is charming in so many ways we will be back”
““The sandwiches were so good, the place was so nice! We had a great time » Paul 9 years old
Excellent family time! We wanted to eat everything!! The soups, sandwiches, salads, desserts... the quantities are very generous and the atmosphere excellent.
One of our holiday favorites.?”
“Crowd is absolutely obnoxious zoomers but the music is usually good and bumping. $7 Guinness at the time of posting 1/25/2024Can't stress how obnoxious the crowd is. They will step on your feet and act like you did something wrong. Very uppity crowd.”

“Got the OG burger, and a banh mi the day before. The OG is a fantastic In-N-Out inspired burger. Really nailed it. Highly recommend. The Korean BBQ banh mi is one of the better banh mis I’ve had in a long time. Nice staff too, casual atmosphere. Def will be coming back.”
“A fantastic discovery. After almost ten days of burgers and American junk food, finding a place that does real Italian food was like finding heaven!! Fair prices compared to average and fair portions.
I had the spaghetti with pesto and burrata and it was really good! A small clarification: the pasta was a little overcooked, I prefer it al dente.
Don't pay attention to the negative reviews, coincidentally they are non-Italian people who know little or almost nothing about pasta.
I highly recommend you try it!!”
“One of my favorite restaurants in LA! Highly recommend the zucchini puffs & shrimp to start and the branzino (it’s not huge)! I’ve heard good things about the short ribs. The vegetable sandwich is good for vegetarians.”
“Super cool 😎 Great place for drinks with friends, cool vibe and crowd”

“Marlene was so lovely! A true hole in the wall and George puts care into the food! Their house made salsas & sauces are incredible, highly recommend the salsa verde and the green crema! (Can't go wrong with any tbh) Get the fish taco too!!! Can't wait to go back ❤️ ✨”
“🥙☕️💜I am an avid taco lover. We had never been to this adorable Taco Restaurant in Venice Beach before.
The first thing I noticed was how clean it was.
I was now anxious to have my fave food in life - beef tacos! THEY WERE out of this world.
Our entire family enjoyed the food & a quaint ambience. The Coffee is excellent as well.
I give this “Young Kid Shop”’ 5 stars! Because, if it is not on the Menu, I would bet my life Miss NADIA would not only make it, it would be absolutely delicious!
It is the cutest little beach taco shop on the boardwalk in Venice Beach. Check it out.
💟🥙🏖️”
“For a small take out poke place, this was great. The fish was fresh, and all the ingredients in our poke bowls were well thought out. We had the mango albacore poke bowl and the shitake chili tofu bowl.
Lots of people came and picked up takeout. They do have two small tables in the front on the sidewalk. I would definitely get their poke bowls again. Not much atmosphere needless to say.”
“Feels like all of the things that made Starbucks great! The barista’s are friendly. The patrons are kind to each other, and the drinks are perfect.
Hot lavender oatmilk match was terriffic!
Dietary restrictions: You gotta watch out—Starbucks likes to put random milk in their products. The baristas know which drinks have dairy, so you can always ask.”
“Very cute coffee shop on Abbot Kinney! It was my first time trying Alfred coffee and I will definitely be coming back. The staff was super friendly and I noticed the gentleman interacting kindly with what seemed to be regulars at the shop. Great energy and great coffee! I was pleased to find out they have many other locations in the area thanks to the baristas letting me know. Ordered an iced vanilla latte and it was delicious!”

“the empanadas are exquisite. you have to try them to understand. this some homemade Argentina style 😋 deliciousness. Rico is a show to say the least. I will definitely stop by just to grab some more empanadas. my highlight of the boardwalk. like Rico says they're 🔥 fire.”
“Had a great meal! Forwent ordering potstickers in order to try the enticingly named Gang of 4 ×4 - a delicious decision! The Mao's Hometown was just-right spicy, and I'm sure they put more than $2 extra shrimp on my order. Service friendly and prompt, loved the art. I felt as though I had wandered back into college in the early '70s.”
“Because it was until 6 o'clock, I couldn't have the coffee I wanted, so I had Americano, and it was a perfect coffee with a slight acidity and nutty flavor. It was nice to eat because the atmosphere and seating were all right.
Parking: Parking is in a public parking lot... You have to pay about $6(?) to get it. (It’s a bit much to walk)
There is a place where you can park for free for 2 hours… It will be hard to find. I just recommend paid parking.
Kid-friendliness: Because I don’t have children… I think it will be ambiguous when the child comes.”
“Yum!!! I don’t know how this guy does it, but he’s making absolutely delicious and addictive pizza. A mix between Chicago bar pizza and New Haven thin crust. I ordered a double sausage, green peppers, mushrooms, and basil pizza. I asked for an extra crispy crust too. Perfection! He makes his own sauce and dough and with 2 painfully small countertop ovens, turns out mouthwatering pie. I’ve gone back a number of times now so he’s the real deal. I have the nerve to give him an 8.0 on the Barstool Sports scale. This guy needs a bigger place. No seating inside, just outside.
Oh, the pepperoni calzone was also excellent, but with pizza this good, why? And the pizza was only $15 bucks! If the owner gets a bigger place with proper ovens, watch out!”
“I thought the reviews of the shop were high and good.
I asked for Deep Pride OREO.
I was sure that something other than this would be recommended.
However, it costs about $15 for a pack of five.
I thought I had failed
Around the third bite, I started to feel the deliciousness of a donut.
This may be true for Japanese people who have eaten red bean paste.
It's not worth coming here to eat.
I think you should order something else.”
“The food was excellent! The service was excellent also ! Nice place”
“Some of the best carbonara I've ever had stateside. Service was excellent, I have an allergy and they took great care and knew coming to the table no reminder needed!”

“Drove from Pasadena for a couple sliced brisket sandwiches. Well worth the drive. Always delicious.”

“Had an outstanding night watching Chuck Prophet and the Mission Express at the Venice West. Venice West is an intimate venue with a perfect layout for live performances. Dinner was enjoyable and the staff was helpful and friendly. Now for the main event... Chuck Prophet and the Mission Express put on a heck of show. The band was tight and rocked the house. Every song was a hit and our group was blown away. Thanks for making great music! Looking forward to returning again for another memorable evening of great music and food.”

“This is another gem I take visitors to all the time, mostly for a late breakfast. I come here for 20+ years. I gotta be honest: If you are looking for the best ... whatever food .... in town, don't bother to go. This place is about atmosphere and having a good time. The food is good, and we had an amazing time with our waiter Shilly yesterday - and left well fed and with $100 for the four of us fairly priced - given the location I would have expected more. Wow - five stars for OK food? Absolutely. In my very own rating scheme, it is mandatory for five stars that I would be willing to do a 30+ min detour just to go to this particular place. And I did. Many times. And will do it again. We've been to the Ivy's in Beverly Hills the night before. It would be totally unfair to compare on a mere culinary basis. Go here - prepared to have a good time - and you will.”
“The naughty pie: 5/5. Can’t go wrong with hot honey and pepperoni combo, and the ricotta helps balance the stronger flavors.
The sunset square: 5/5. This one surprised me. It’s simple but satisfying. Very cheesy and the sweet marinara is great; I wish it had a little more sauce though.
Meat lovers: 4/5. Solid slice, very par for the course for a meat pizza. Great variety of meats but none really stand out, but that’s not a bad thing.
2 slices will get you pretty full, 1 may not be enough. There’s a lot behind the building you can park at as well as some street parking.”
