I have been here many times including when it is super busy and the staff are always happy and helpful. It’s a busy place that feels like a well oiled engine.The food is great especially the baked goods. Venice prices so nothing shocking for the neighbourhood.Minimal indoor eating space but the courtyard is nice with flexible seating for large and small groups. I like eating inside when I am alone. What an ordeal this experience was. I have been wanting to try this place for a while now and decided to go on a Saturday afternoon which is probably the worst time to go. Their ordering/line system is all out of whack and there are no instructions to get a number first and wait until it’s your turn to order. Attractive and intriguing space, the kitchen and bakery sits behind the service counter so there’s lots to see. Pricey, the menu tells you that, but portions I don’t think portion sizes make up for it. Pastry and bread were both good. Plenty of cabinet items. There’s coffee bar seating and a very large relaxed out door courtyard. Pleasant!
