“We sat outside since you're RIGHT on the boardwalk from the patio. Here we could hear a street performer sing and people watch as we ate...which we loved! Our server was the sweetest and incredibly attentive. He made a GREAT espresso martini once we were done with mimosas. Our food came quickly and correctly and tasted delicious. Would definitely recommend for a quick-ish breakfast stop.“

“Please staff the express counter and make the little cabinet sandwiches available there. I literally want you to hand me one of those delicious little morsels of goodness on a napkin, I will hand you the exact amount I owe you and walk out the door. Unfortunately I've now walked away three times because I don't want to wait in the 30 minute line for the full experience when all I'm after is you 5 star deliciousness. Keep up the great work and please figure out how to take my money more efficiently.“

“So, my friend chose this restaurant because she's vegan. I am not. It was an hour from my home and I arrived starving. I was greeted nicely by the host and he was very patient with me while I flip flopped about whether to sit inside or out. Decided to eat in. Waited ten minutes, still no friend. I look at her message again. The lunch was the following week! Arghh! My lovely server, Graciela, walked me through the foreign menu and we landed on nachos. They were delicious. It's street parking, which I hate, but overall it's a nice place. But I wouldn't drive an hour for it.“

“Very small place. No seating inside. But this is Funkytown Bohemian vibe fun Venice Beach. You wouldn't want to sit inside anyhow. Their pastries are freakin amazing. Pumpkin Chocolate Cake, Coffee Cake, etc. It is an expensive way to drink coffee, but aren't they all expensive? You gotta confront your addiction demons if you don't want to pay those ridiculous prices for coffee and sugar . Sometimes the staffing is short. There should be two people behind the counter at all times for the best service“

“Perfect for a beach day! The base is all Vanilla Gelato but the toppings are all so fun and different. The portion size is quite big so one can definitely be shared by two people! I felt that the gelato that comes in the chimney cake melts slower than the cup, but that might've been just our experience!“

ALBION GARDEN Cafe •
1043 Abbot Kinney Blvd, Venice

“Albion Garden has a peaceful outdoor area, a cafe with yummy Japanese food, drinks & snacks, and skin and make up products section. I loved the outdoor space. Food wise, I got the sprinkle sushi which came with pico the gallo & it was delicious. You can choose what sauce you'd like though. It's perfect for a quick lunch bite. The Amazake Squeeze Juice is a fermented rice drink with squeezed fruit of your choice (pink grapefruit, orange or pomegranate). Regarding skincare, I loved the flora drip product and bought one for myself. They also host meditation, yoga and sound bath events in the back. Definitely a very cool space in Abbot Kinney.“

“Love that they make their own cashew milk! a i’ve been trying to find a place that does this so I’m so happy to find this one! Definitely on the pricier end but what’s new in LA?I got an iced cashew milk decaf latte and really liked it! Even thorough it was decaf, it was delicious! The nut milk is pretty dense so I wasn’t able to drink a lot of it but definitely happy with the service and quality. They also have gluten-free pastries which I definitely want to try next time.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegan options and alternative milksDietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegan options for pastries and food, dairy free mills, and homemade cashew milkParking: Easy to find street parking right next door even on a saturday!“
