“OMG. That jade snow is to DIE for. It's such an interesting concept as well! The people are so kind and friendly to talk to as well. They don't have seating inside but they have a bench on the out. Come here for a delicious dessert on your trip to the pier.Dietary restrictions: Almost everything has dairy so this might not be the best place for an lactose intolerant person!“
“I’m soo impressed with the food and service at this place. I just casually visited this morning for breakfast. I felt healthy after having their balanced breakfast of scrambled eggs, turkey sausage and potatoes full of flavor with fresh fruits. The organic coffee just hit the spot. I accidentally skipped the tip portion when I made the payment through their machine, and despite me requesting a reswipe, they gladly said it’s fine. I can’t wait to go back there and pay a double tip for their exceptional service and value for money food.“
“We hired the Made By Meg (MBM) team for our small, intimate wedding this past May and they were absolutely amazing.From signing on to the actual event date, we had so much trust in the MBM team. They have the entire process down; everything is so organized and all the little details are considered and communicated.I have to give a huge shoutout to the sweetest ever, Angela, who initiated our contract. (She's unfortunately no longer with the company, but wanted to mention her, as she was such a huge part of us wanting to sign on). We were then re-assigned to Kat, who was equally awesome. She helped us finalize all the details of our contract (as we made a few customizations) and ran through the timeline and finishing touches with us before the wedding.Then, on the day of, the team, led by Mila, was phenomenal. Everything was set beautifully, the food was delicious, and everyone was just so kind and a joy to work with.Would highly recommend this team, if you are thinking about hiring a catering company for your next event! :))“
“I've passed this place and wanted to give a try, after finally someone taking my order at the counter it came out in about 15 minutes. The place has a coffee house vibe, great tunes, and beer and wine. I got the chicken pesto sandwich with salad instead of fries. All ingredients are fresh. Standard dressing is balsamic. Sandwich came HOT and is a knife and fork sandwich, it is so packed with delicious ingredients it falls apart. Great hidden gem“
“This coffee shop has tasty food and excellent chai latte. Very fast and friendly service. It was a clean bright store. I will definitely go back during my next visit to the area.Parking: Parking is behind the CVS next door. Around 7 am, there were about 20 spots available. Very short walk from there to the coffee shop.“
“I had the pastrami sandwich with Fries and it was pretty good. I also tried a breakfast sandwich and it was missing flavor, but the sandwiches were a good size. Overall. Nice place for quick bite and a walk on the beach which is 1 block away. Be careful if you have a sweet tooth. Pastries are really good. I had a creme Brulee and a cherry and cream cheese Croissant.“
“Honestly, I don't know which is better, the service or the food? Both are absolutely amazing! I've been here three times (I walk to Bac Street for booze, then here for food) and I've loved everything. I've had the Buffalo chicken wrap, Mediterranean wrap and their BLAT. All HUGE and delicious. If you find yourself hungry at Bac Street (or Thirsty Club) this is a must! Heads up: they close at 3p!“

“I travel in from Culver City to eat here on weekends. The Farmers Market Toast and a latte are my favorite breakfast. They load the toast with a thin spread of garlic mayo topped with smashed avocado, and roasted veggies . . .its a perfect start to the day. The latte is also sublime, better than that big over-inflated chain. I often sit at one of the tables out front. Aside from cars cruising past on Phelan, it's peaceful. There is a park around the corner of the cafe and you can hear distant sounds of play but its so gentle it just feels like those sounds should be there. All the staff are kind, generous, helpful, knowledgable and very sweet to put up with my unvarying order each weekend. It's a very small place, but absolutely the best neighborhood cafe I've had the pleasure to discover!!“
