“So much to say… but ultimately, Colossus in Long Beach is WONDERFUL!! The BEST BLT I’ve ever had. Because they use high quality ingredients! Their Soft-Scrambled Egg Toast is divine. And everything is beautifully fresh. I love their country bread, baguettes, olive cumin bread, dinner rolls… but I have so much more to try Their pastries are scrumptious: Pecan Sticky Bun, Cardamom Bun, Kouign Amann, Financier, Marzipan Croissant, Sea Salt Brownie, OG Chocolate Chip Cookie. It’s all amazing and I’ve brought a number of friends to show off this incredible Belmont Shore Bakery. On Friday nights Colossus serves pizza into the night. Again, high-quality ingredients make their pizzas delicious. Plus they have interesting and unique combinations. They are tip free because their starting wage is $21/hr. Great customer service. Cute little space with some lovely specialty spice mixes, food items, merch, and wine. Indoor and outdoor seating, and they serve tasty coffees and teas. Colossus feels like a little bit of Europe on 2nd Street.“

“Its unfortunate that probably the only people who will eat here are travelers on their way to Catalina because it truly is worth a drive for a great meal! Who'd a thought a breakfast burrito and an omelette would surprise anyone but that's exactly what it did. Both were delicious! I even heard my Fiancé say "Tjis is the best omelette i've ever had!" So there you have it. And did I mention the prices were extremely reasonable? Actually quite low for the quality! Have a bite on the water and enjoy everything about this little bistro!“

“Came here during the tallship festival, which the rubber duck was also part of the festival.They don't called this world largest rubber duck without for a reason, this floating cute ducky weight over 1300 pounds and over 100 feet tall !This is first time they had this in the west coast, who know if they ever come back.. History said unlikely but maybe in other west coast cities in distance future... Parking is not bad but you can find free parking not too far away in most resident area.This place is packed even during when it just open the door, expect a line.. There's two entrace, the line near the USS IOWA is long.. But the entrance in the left is fast and his is when you get your ticket. Which run $7 to all way over $80 if you want full sail on the ship which probably no need, since the rubber duck is so close to the pier and you need some distance to take a decent photo.LIke I need to tell you more, bring you *(&$ camera and just enjoy it ! There;s some band and small set of booth, real reason to come here is to see the ducky !“

“Came in to grab a coffee ended up getting a bag of beans as well as an extra two coffees total three. Kudos to the friendly and knowledgeable staff. The nitro has deep chocolatey tones, texture is more watery than Starbucks or devotion our favorite place in nyc that needs to come to La. The Americano with a fruity bean was good. Also tried the drip which was too dark for me but I let someone who loves dark coffee try it and it was “excellent”. Looks like a cool place to stop in and do some work peaceful vibes.“

“Lovely place. Unfortunately for us, we've been passing this restaurant by for years, as there is almost always a small crowd waiting outside for a table. However, today we took a chance, parked on the street near the restaurant & ventured inside. -- The decor is not fancy, but the atmosphere is friendly, light & inviting. And, the smells coming from the kitchen, as well as the custom coffee drinks was enticing.
-- Our waitress was very friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, explained several dishes, answered questions we had about drinks, menu options, made solid recommendations, and easily took our orders. -- The drinks arrived fairly quickly, followed a few minutes later by our requested orders. Our meals were hot & freshly prepared as ordered (& had not been left sitting under warming lights.) The items we chose were very tasty, the fresh fruit cups were chilled & appeared to be prepped shortly before the meal was served. Very nice. Long before we had finished eating, we'd decided we would be returning to this hidden little gem on PCH to adventure further into the menu & sample some additional treats prepared by the chef & staff. “We found this place by accident and decided to try some açaí right away and I’m so glad we did. I have to say. if you’re looking for a real Brazilian superfood açaí experience, you’re going to love this place. It’s one of the best açaí bowls I’ve had outside of Brazil. The staff is very friendly, and on top of that, you can choose unlimited toppings. Highly recommend!“

“Went late one evening right before closing and needed a pick me up and got an iced cafe de olla latte. It was delicious. I was there for about 10 minutes talking with the barista and she was so nice and knowledgeable about their business. Let me try some of the cream soda which is A+ made in house child nostalgia. Need to bring my mom back there with me.“

“Better tasting boba compared to the location in cerritos and delicious macroons. I got the specialty smootie milk and honey with mini boba and egg pudding. It tastes amazing. I wanted to try the Nutella and green tea macroons however they were sold out. I settled for the fruity pebble and I loved it.“

It is a chicken salad sandwich with lots of yummy chicken salad and Swiss cheese. I had their regular French fries 🍟 Very tasty. Again the staff was very friendly and helpful. At the beginning of our dinner, our waiter mentioned that he was going to do something for my husband's birthday. I assumed it would be a dessert or some kind of special touch, so I was excited and waited for that perfect ending and birthday picture to capture the experience I had planned so far in advance. “We stumbled upon this little café by chance while driving from the airport — and what a hidden gem it turned out to be! I honestly envy the office workers who get to have this place nearby every day.

It's a small café, but everything they serve is top-tier culinary art — the sandwiches, coffee, and salads are absolutely delicious. And the soups… just wow! We tried the pumpkin and broccoli soups — both incredibly tasty and nourishing. My 7-year-old son usually won’t touch broccoli, but he loved their broccoli soup and ate it with great pleasure.

We've only been there a couple of times over the past year, but it’s definitely on our list for every future trip to Los Angeles. Can’t wait to come back!“

Best coffee shop so far in Torrance area as far as I know. We've been enjoying Cafe Dolce since they opened. Enjoying cafe Cortado and my wife enjoys Highball Espresso. Every Sunday we enjoy Cafe Dolce.“

“I’m basing my review on two different cake donuts from two different visits….One was chocolate with vanilla icing, the other crumb-top—both of excellent donuts. The cafe also serves coffee, breakfast, sandwiches, but I came for the donuts.

The cafe itself is very clean, good music playing, booth tables lining the windows, upgraded with a digital menu board. Nothing fancy, yet nicely upgraded interiors with tasteful finishes. It’s a perfect traditional Los Angeles donut shop that has invested in offering a comfortable cafe experience with above average food.

Next time I’m ordering coffee and more donuts, maybe a sandwich, and bringing something to read and stay a while.“

“Gum Tree Shop & Café is a small café and shop just a short walk from the Strand in Hermosa Beach. It’s been around for a while and feels very much like a local neighborhood spot.

Parking was easy right out front, which made the visit even more convenient. The café has outdoor seating, and you can sit with your coffee and feel the ocean air, with a steady flow of people and dogs passing by.

“What a gem in the middle of Redondo Blvd! Family owned bakery with comfort in every way. Went in to grab a quick breakfast before a gig nearby and was blown away by the bagels! It smells of Indian Spices, warm and comforting, and I loved their bagel sandwich so much I savored it. My husband could not contain his love for his sandwich and gobbled it. The workers/owners are amazing! So kind, lovely customer service and very cool! What a great local spot for sweet or savory! If you’re a tea lovers their Masala Chai was HEAVENLY! I got it iced since it was so hot today, but I’d imagine it’s delicious any way they serve it! Perfection! What a treat on this workday!
