“I love pastries and I love bread and I love coffee. I also love that this place is so close to home! But I don't know if it's a good thing for me because now I am addicted lol. The women that work here are All so sweet and always answer my questions about the beverage menu ( which I told myself I'd try every single one) and so far all good but I am loving their gingerbread caramel latte and tried the chocolate peppermint cookie today and omg it is sooo good! Peppermint flavor is just the perfect amount not overpowering, like the lady that helped me said I cannot believe it's Vegan. My kids love their chocolate chip cookies and we enjoy some of their sourdough every now and then! Great little gem in San Pedro.“

“Jennifer is the absolute best, I stumbled across this little hidden gem and I cannot say enough about the service I received from Jennifer. She let me and my co worker sample the drinks before deciding which one to get, and she makes the best organic Acai bowls. On the other note, we came back one day for lunch and I'm not sure what the lady name was that was there, she was so rude and we have not been back since. I wish Jennifer was there daily because I really loved the way her energy was and the way she made our bowl and drinks.“

Port of Los Angeles Administration Building Cafe •
425 S Palos Verdes St, San Pedro

“I really think the nicest people in Los Angeles work at this port! Literally, every staff member I interacted with was friendly, helpful and genuinely seemed happy. I drove out to the cruise port early evening on Sunday because I wanted to figure out exactly where I needed to park for my cruise the following morning. The cruise parking lot is not huge compared to some of the other ports I've been to, but it is a little confusing because there are two entrances. They also share the parking lot with the Battleship USS Iowa museum. After driving around for awhile trying to figure it out, I ended up parking and walking up to the guard shack to ask for help. I was greeted by the nicest man. He told me exactly where I needed to park, where I needed to drop my luggage off, and where I needed to enter security the next morning. He seemed to really care about helping me out. The next morning I got there about 2hrs early and was lucky to snag a parking spot on the front row. I drive a RAM 1500 pickup, so the parking spots were a little tight for my truck, but it all worked out just fine. We started walking our luggage to the drop off station and were stopped and greeted by several men with carts. They were all smiling and one guy was even singing, they told us that they would take our bags for us. At first I have to admit, I was a little skeptical because these guys were way too friendly that it seemed odd to me. But then I saw other cruisers give their bags to these guys, so I figured they must be legit. To my surprise, as soon as we handed over our bags, the guy who took our bags asked me for his tip... No joke, I have never had anyone straight up ask for a tip the way he did. I laughed out loud because his strategy to get tips was amusing, so I gladly handed him over a tip. After dropping our bags, we headed over to the security line and ended up waiting outside about 40 minutes to enter. But once inside, it was the basic TSA-type of security. My carry-on bag was flagged because I had a bottle of wine and 16 bottles of drinks in it. They opened my bag and checked to make sure my drinks were all still sealed, then told me to have a great trip. Everyone here was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. It was refreshing to see so many smiling faces and a great start to kick-off my trip. Overall, this is a great port! Everything was clean, inviting and well maintained. My truck was safe while I was gone, and the staff was fantastic from start-to-finish. Parking here does costs $20 per day, I think that's pretty reasonable if you don't live in the area.Highly Recommended!“

“This is truly a gem of a hole in the wall!! Almost literally, and I say that with respect and appreciation. This cute little eatery is easy to miss, being tucked in a very small strip mall (if it even qualifies as that!) between a small pharmacy and a laundromat, just south of the Arco on the corner of PCH and Pacific. But once you have eaten here, boy oh boy is it hard to forget!I come here about once every other week when I'm on a regular work schedule. Became hooked immediately with their unique bahn mi sandwiches and their pate chaud. Now I'm completely obsessed with their plant-based shrimp spring rolls and their grilled pork bun bowl. That bowl is the perfect balance of light and filling, flavorful and refreshing. It is one of my lunch go-to options. And the plant-based shrimp rolls are AMAZING. Obviously I'm not vegan, but this is an item that I enjoy so much despite it all.I have yet to try their pho. Maybe one of these days. They do have seating inside, but no restroom. Also, parking lot is small and shared, so I avoid coming during peak lunch hours, usually after 1 to pick up my food, and I've had no issues.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, flavorful too!Parking: Parking lot is pretty small and shared with a pharmacy, laundromat and discount store.“

“A friend of mine introduced me to this place. He went on a couple of vacations to Italy, Greece, France, and a few other places and in the process came back with a far better appreciation for espresso.Hands down, his favorite place when he's in town for a simple espresso is this place. He says there's no competition. My palette isn't nearly as discerning as his, and I normally don't take espresso straight up, some taking his word on it.Whenever we come here I always ask the barista which is her favorite drink. A lot of them are seasonal and change regularly. They also have plenty of milk alternatives for people like me with a little bit of milk sensitivity.I've never had a bad drink here, never had a bad experience, the place is clean, the service is pleasant and friendly and knowledgeable, and it's easy to waste an hour or two. Just chatting and enjoying yourself here.“

They have the entire process down; everything is so organized and all the little details are considered and communicated.I have to give a huge shoutout to the sweetest ever, Angela, who initiated our contract. (She's unfortunately no longer with the company, but wanted to mention her, as she was such a huge part of us wanting to sign on). We were then re-assigned to Kat, who was equally awesome. She helped us finalize all the details of our contract (as we made a few customizations) and ran through the timeline and finishing touches with us before the wedding. Then, on the day of, the team, led by Mila, was phenomenal. Everything was set beautifully, the food was delicious, and everyone was just so kind and a joy to work with.Would highly recommend this team, if you are thinking about hiring a catering company for your next event! :))“

It always creates a calm and comfortable environment.I've explored breakfast burrito options all over the South Bay and Los Angeles, and nothing even comes close to Auntie's. The flavor profile is absolutely outstanding. The bacon is thick and delightfully crunchy, elevating every bite to a whole new level of deliciousness. What makes Auntie's even more remarkable is their support for law enforcement. They go the extra mile by hosting "coffee with a cop" events periodically, fostering better communication between the public and the Gardena police department. It's heartwarming to see the mayor of Gardena, Chief, and Captain attend these events, demonstrating Auntie's commitment to the community.Auntie's isn't just a restaurant; it's a place where you can savor incredible breakfast burritos and feel good about supporting a business that actively engages with its local law enforcement and community. If you're in the area, Auntie's is a must-visit spot for a truly unforgettable breakfast experience.“

“So many years we've been coming here and the service and food is always good. The Greek calamari salad is great as is the tomato bisque soup! We get take out from here when we need a quick dinner. The weekend brunch is good as it has special entrees although I wish they were open earlier. Free parking and generally not super crowded.“

“I had the pastrami sandwich with Fries and it was pretty good. I also tried a breakfast sandwich and it was missing flavor, but the sandwiches were a good size. Overall. Nice place for quick bite and a walk on the beach which is 1 block away. Be careful if you have a sweet tooth. Pastries are really good. I had a creme Brulee and a cherry and cream cheese Croissant.“

“It's a must try hidden gem! Just happened to be in the area and hungry for some breakfast burrito. This showed up on my yelp search, but the last time it was reviewed was 8 mos ago. Not 100% sure, but I took a chance! Glad I did! Reasonably priced, great portion compared to price, and my burrito tasted yum! Give it a try when you are in the area!“

“If breakfast were an Olympic sport, this place would take home the gold, silver, and bronze! The food? So delicious it's practically doing a victory lap in my mouth. The service? Attentive enough to make my coffee feel loved and appreciated. And the ambiance? Open and spacious enough to make me consider setting up a tent and moving in permanently. If you find yourself in the area and hungry enough to eat a horse (figuratively, of course), do yourself a favor and sprint, don't walk, to this breakfast haven. Your taste buds will thank you, your stomach will thank you, and I might just thank you for joining me in breakfast paradise.“

“My GF and I were driving through Cherry Ave trying to get to a different michoacana place when she spotted 562 Cherry Cafe. We decided to take our chances and pop in here instead. After parking on street parking we went inside and the nice lady behind the counter was already ready for us. They had savory, sweets, and a whole lot of drink options. They even had fresh juices as well. I went with the diablito which was very large and satisfying. My GF went with their managonada. Both drinks were about $7 each but they were very large. We were both really happy. The lady that rung us up was also the same person who made our drinks. We probably waited about 5-10 minutes for her to make our drinks. We also grabbed some candy too on our way out. I want to come back to try their fresas con crema and other fruit items. The inside of this place is very causal and chill. There are few tables. We will be back.“

“I had a work e ent in Torrance and wanted to grab breakfast burritos for the team. I found this spot. Wow. First, the service could not have been better and kinder. I ordered 5 breakfast burritos and watched them be made from scratch by the awesome chef. We got 3 bacon and 2 sausage. They were a huge hit. The ingredients were fresh and incredibly tasty. The only thing better was the fresh scratch salsa that went with the burritos. The shop is located on the outside of an office building. It has a great chill vibe to grab all sorts of goodness. When I'm in the South Bay, I'll be a yummy.“

My wife had the Turkey Club Panini, and I had the California Omelet. My wife had a cappuccino, and I had a black coffee and OJ. “Our group enjoyed the xquiche Lorraine, California omelet, and a basic egg, bacon, and bread combo. I think the quiche was the best of the entrees. There was lots of flavor, the crust was flaky, and the dressing on the side of greens was very good. It was a generous size, too.My mocha was nice and got and served promptly. We arrived at about 9:30 and beat the rush of about 7 groups that came in right after us. The restaurant was busy on Thursday!“
