“So much to say… but ultimately, Colossus in Long Beach is WONDERFUL!! The BEST BLT I’ve ever had. Because they use high quality ingredients! Their Soft-Scrambled Egg Toast is divine. And everything is beautifully fresh. I love their country bread, baguettes, olive cumin bread, dinner rolls… but I have so much more to try Their pastries are scrumptious: Pecan Sticky Bun, Cardamom Bun, Kouign Amann, Financier, Marzipan Croissant, Sea Salt Brownie, OG Chocolate Chip Cookie. It’s all amazing and I’ve brought a number of friends to show off this incredible Belmont Shore Bakery. On Friday nights Colossus serves pizza into the night. Again, high-quality ingredients make their pizzas delicious. Plus they have interesting and unique combinations. They are tip free because their starting wage is $21/hr. Great customer service. Cute little space with some lovely specialty spice mixes, food items, merch, and wine. Indoor and outdoor seating, and they serve tasty coffees and teas. Colossus feels like a little bit of Europe on 2nd Street.“

“Came here during the tallship festival, which the rubber duck was also part of the festival.They don't called this world largest rubber duck without for a reason, this floating cute ducky weight over 1300 pounds and over 100 feet tall !This is first time they had this in the west coast, who know if they ever come back.. History said unlikely but maybe in other west coast cities in distance future... Parking is not bad but you can find free parking not too far away in most resident area.This place is packed even during when it just open the door, expect a line.. There's two entrace, the line near the USS IOWA is long.. But the entrance in the left is fast and his is when you get your ticket. Which run $7 to all way over $80 if you want full sail on the ship which probably no need, since the rubber duck is so close to the pier and you need some distance to take a decent photo.LIke I need to tell you more, bring you *(&$ camera and just enjoy it ! There;s some band and small set of booth, real reason to come here is to see the ducky !“

Best tofu vermicelli I’ve ever had, sweet braised tofu, perfectly cooked noodles..it was perfect! The blue crab imperial rolls were crispy and complemented with fresh veggies! Their matcha oat milk latte was just the pick me up I needed and was delicious!!“

“Love this mom and pop donut and sandwich shop!! Conveniently located on a major street corner (182nd/Western) for easy access. Their donuts never miss - light and airy for the raised ones, dense and satisfying for the cake ones. “Visited this place with Wifey, things were good but not great. I think our server had a bad day or something. There were two males assisting our server who offered great service with smiles. Our female server did not warm up until it was time to pay our bill. We still tipped her because we know folks need to work 2x harder in the current economy. The food was good and the portions were great. I will come back and give them another try. Lastly, the bright spot here is their patio which is very relaxing. As you dine, great views of PCH street action - despite this round of ok service, I'll be back!“

“What a FANTASTIC place! I heard about Yellow Vase online and decided that it would be a perfect spot to stop and try out. We found a table outside with a great view of the ocean. We placed our order at the counter and the line moved very quickly so dont be intimidated if it looks busy because they are FAST! They clearly have a fantastic system in place because no sooner did we sit down after placing our orders and take a sip of our tea and espresso and our food was out!
The goat cheese on the Roasted Veggie Scramble was delicious,my only complaint being that there wasnt more of it! It was a great balance with the salad and few slices of bread. The decor was adorable, and of course we had to get some pastries to go!
What an absolute gem of a place, it seems the different locations may have a few different options for food as well to keep it unique, and I very much look forward to getting to try out the other locations as well. We will absolutely be back to this location and to hop around and try the others! With such a diverse menu I cant wait to try some of the other dishes they offer!“

My spouse and I enjoy exploring new dining venues and pride ourselves on evaluating service, food quality, and ambiance. We were thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service we received; Mr. Mack warmly greeted us with a sweet smile and gentle demeanor, offering insightful suggestions. He diligently catered to our needs, even promptly fulfilling my request for Tapatio hot sauce to spice up my sandwich. The dishes were fresh and superb, with the salad proving to be particularly delightful and the coffee exceeding our expectations.

As our meal drew to a close, we approached a lady, whose name eluded me, to request a takeout box. She promptly presented us with two options to choose from. I wholeheartedly endorse this restaurant and look forward to returning for another delightful start to the day. Thank you ?

“Purchased fresas con crema and a chicle raspado. The chicle raspado brought back childhood memories; so much so that my pupils dilated. The crema was just right, not too sweet with a nice consistency. Both were tasty and the portions were decent. The shop has lots of options, even a dragon fruit and açaí bowl. They were out of the dragon fruit bowl, seems like it would have been good though since the strawberries were fresh. This place just replaced my previous shop since they are nicer ? and have more options. They have tons of candy options too. If you are looking for something healthy, they have it. If you want something cheesy and spicy, they have it as well. The front door could be wiped down but the inside seemed cleaner.“

“I got a large coffee milk tea with boba and custard. The tea was fine, loved the custard but the boba was a little too chewy for me and I had to really slow down and take a few more bytes than normal, this is probably better for my digestion anyway, ha ha.I was a little pleasantly surprised that even though I forgot to ask for less sweet, it wasn’t too sweet like other places.I used to order the fruit shaved ice a lot, it’s a great dessert drink with combination of fresh fruits such as mango, kiwi, strawberry, etc, plus flavored shaved ice and varieties of boba. “My personal favorite breakfast place in Long Beach\n\nPart of me didn't think they needed my yelp review since they do so well and there's a line outside on weekends lot of the time.\n\nThe photo is a veggie scramble, which was delicious if you want to avoid some meat.\n\nSpeaking of meat, I love her corn, beef, hash, and eggs, Old-school diner style corned beef hash. I enjoy their black coffee, they use "Boyds" if you're familiar with Boyds, it's pretty good .\n\nThey serve lunch as well, but I don't think I've ever ordered lunch because I love breakfast and they do breakfast so well.
