“Lovely place. Unfortunately for us, we've been passing this restaurant by for years, as there is almost always a small crowd waiting outside for a table. However, today we took a chance, parked on the street near the restaurant & ventured inside. -- The decor is not fancy, but the atmosphere is friendly, light & inviting. And, the smells coming from the kitchen, as well as the custom coffee drinks was enticing.
-- Our waitress was very friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, explained several dishes, answered questions we had about drinks, menu options, made solid recommendations, and easily took our orders. -- The drinks arrived fairly quickly, followed a few minutes later by our requested orders. Our meals were hot & freshly prepared as ordered (& had not been left sitting under warming lights.) The items we chose were very tasty, the fresh fruit cups were chilled & appeared to be prepped shortly before the meal was served. Very nice. Long before we had finished eating, we'd decided we would be returning to this hidden little gem on PCH to adventure further into the menu & sample some additional treats prepared by the chef & staff. I have to say. if you’re looking for a real Brazilian superfood açaí experience, you’re going to love this place. It’s one of the best açaí bowls I’ve had outside of Brazil. The staff is very friendly, and on top of that, you can choose unlimited toppings. Highly recommend!“

I was there for about 10 minutes talking with the barista and she was so nice and knowledgeable about their business. Let me try some of the cream soda which is A+ made in house child nostalgia. “So much to say… but ultimately, Colossus in Long Beach is WONDERFUL!! The BEST BLT I’ve ever had. Because they use high quality ingredients! Their Soft-Scrambled Egg Toast is divine. And everything is beautifully fresh. I love their country bread, baguettes, olive cumin bread, dinner rolls… but I have so much more to try Their pastries are scrumptious: Pecan Sticky Bun, Cardamom Bun, Kouign Amann, Financier, Marzipan Croissant, Sea Salt Brownie, OG Chocolate Chip Cookie. It’s all amazing and I’ve brought a number of friends to show off this incredible Belmont Shore Bakery. On Friday nights Colossus serves pizza into the night. Again, high-quality ingredients make their pizzas delicious. Plus they have interesting and unique combinations. They are tip free because their starting wage is $21/hr. Great customer service. Cute little space with some lovely specialty spice mixes, food items, merch, and wine. Indoor and outdoor seating, and they serve tasty coffees and teas. Colossus feels like a little bit of Europe on 2nd Street.“

The service was stellar... until the very end. It took me months to get this reservation, and I had planned this special evening to celebrate my husband's birthday. At the beginning of our dinner, our waiter mentioned that he was going to do something for my husband's birthday. I assumed it would be a dessert or some kind of special touch, so I was excited and waited for that perfect ending and birthday picture to capture the experience I had planned so far in advance. Unfortunately, that moment never came. Our waiter completely forgot, brought us the check, and that was it. No birthday acknowledgment, no dessert, nothing. I know it may seem like a small thing, but when you spend months planning a special evening, those little details matter. I left disappointed in the one thing I had been looking forward to most. My tip reflected how the evening ended. The food and drinks were absolutely wonderful, but I wish the experience had ended on the same note it started.“

“Long layover at LAX but want to go outside away from the crowds and airplanes for an hour or so? Get an Uber and go here! (after Covid of course). You could also take the Beach Cities Express shuttle to Manhattan Beach, but almost none of their restaurants are RIGHT ON the beach like this one. Before going here, make sure your cellphone works because you'll want to catch an Uber/Lyft back to LAX because bus service is not good. If you have more time, walk to downtown El Segundo it's cute and easier to take a taxi or bus from there back to LAX.“

“We stumbled upon this little café by chance while driving from the airport — and what a hidden gem it turned out to be! I honestly envy the office workers who get to have this place nearby every day.

It's a small café, but everything they serve is top-tier culinary art — the sandwiches, coffee, and salads are absolutely delicious. And the soups… just wow! We tried the pumpkin and broccoli soups — both incredibly tasty and nourishing. My 7-year-old son usually won’t touch broccoli, but he loved their broccoli soup and ate it with great pleasure.

We've only been there a couple of times over the past year, but it’s definitely on our list for every future trip to Los Angeles. Can’t wait to come back!“

Best coffee shop so far in Torrance area as far as I know. We've been enjoying Cafe Dolce since they opened. Enjoying cafe Cortado and my wife enjoys Highball Espresso. Every Sunday we enjoy Cafe Dolce.“

“Better tasting boba compared to the location in cerritos and delicious macroons. I got the specialty smootie milk and honey with mini boba and egg pudding. It tastes amazing. I wanted to try the Nutella and green tea macroons however they were sold out. I settled for the fruity pebble and I loved it.“

“This location can be a little confusing as it is next to a church, but they have a parking lot in back. They also have two dosages, one is like a lounge and the other is the actual restaurant
The service is wonderful and I even received a hug from the owner.
I had thecombo pho with brisket, beg round and tendon. It was so delicious. The broth was clean and not oily. A nice large bowl, almost overflowing. A really nice plate of veggies, including culantro.

My brother had the chicken porridge. It too came in a large bowl with a nice plate of veggies too.

Upon sitting you're served a nice large cup of iced jasmine tea. I also ordered the iced coffee with sweetened condensed milk. Delicious!

“What a gem in the middle of Redondo Blvd! Family owned bakery with comfort in every way. Went in to grab a quick breakfast before a gig nearby and was blown away by the bagels! It smells of Indian Spices, warm and comforting, and I loved their bagel sandwich so much I savored it. My husband could not contain his love for his sandwich and gobbled it. The workers/owners are amazing! So kind, lovely customer service and very cool! What a great local spot for sweet or savory! If you’re a tea lovers their Masala Chai was HEAVENLY! I got it iced since it was so hot today, but I’d imagine it’s delicious any way they serve it! Perfection! What a treat on this workday! Will happily go back next time I’m in the area and honestly can’t wait to try their sweets!“
