“I’m basing my review on two different cake donuts from two different visits….One was chocolate with vanilla icing, the other crumb-top—both of excellent donuts. The cafe also serves coffee, breakfast, sandwiches, but I came for the donuts.

The cafe itself is very clean, good music playing, booth tables lining the windows, upgraded with a digital menu board. Nothing fancy, yet nicely upgraded interiors with tasteful finishes. It’s a perfect traditional Los Angeles donut shop that has invested in offering a comfortable cafe experience with above average food.

Next time I’m ordering coffee and more donuts, maybe a sandwich, and bringing something to read and stay a while.“

“They use real fruit in their drinks. The watermelon slush is great. My favorite is the taro smoothie with easy boba. I have never tried their food or desserts. Their ap keeps track of your purchases so you can earn a free smoothie. I like this place and recommend it.“

“The sweet and Saby’s burrito was good - like a 7.6/10. It was hot but lacked texture. Need to griddle the outside.

Unfortunately, we ordered in the restaurant at 9:30 and had to wait over an hour for our burritos. It was absolutely chaos inside with DoorDash and uberEats people yelling about their orders every second. They need to dedicate a specific area outside to to-go orders.

“The food is amazing. But what I like the most is the atmosphere. We decided to seat outside. Lovely cute chairs, quiet and breathy. Same deal for the inside. Food was tasty and portions very good in size. We got savory crepe - Crepe heaven special with egg, turkey and cheese. Very good balance of stuffing and crepe. The crepe itself is delicious. Not too dry or chewy. Sweet crepe was loaded with fruits, we’ve opted for condensed milk instead of Nutella. Two crepes to split between two people. We also got coffee and coffee was not bad. “The breakfast / brunch menu has a good concept and good options. The merguez sandwich was good, but too oily. The fries were done well but too salty.

I wish they cooked the food with less oil and salt. Maybe I'll request that if I stop by to eat there again.“

“1000% will be back! I was at the laundromat next door and ran over for a quick lunch while my clothes were in the dryer. The service was impeccable and quick, food was delicious, and portions were spot on. I had the breakfast bowl and an order of mini pancakes and will have enough for a second meal. You can tell it’s all made by hand and with love, fresh and hot. The restaurant was also clean and comfortable with plenty of street parking nearby. There is a laundromat next door too - so you could give yourself a little treat while your clothes are in the dryer.“

“My girlfriends and I were looking for a good brunch spot and ended up finding this hidden gem in Huntington Park. From the moment we saw the menu and photos, everything looked amazing — we honestly wanted to try everything! So we decided to order a few different dishes and share.

We ordered the chicken and waffles, a chilaquiles plate, and the French toast combo, and every dish was delicious.

The chicken and waffles were fantastic. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, served on top of a waffle that was just the right size. There was actually enough chicken for the three of us to share.

The French toast combo came with breakfast potatoes, scrambled eggs, and beef bacon. Everything was flavorful and again, the portion was generous enough for us all to enjoy.

But the star of the table for me was the chilaquiles. The tortillas were coated in a delicious sauce and mixed with eggs, creating the perfect balance — not too soggy and not too crunchy. They had just the right crispness. The dish was served with refried beans, queso seco, sour cream, and a spicy sauce on the side that added the perfect kick.

We truly enjoyed every bite of our brunch. This place is a hidden gem, and I will definitely be coming back!“

“Not close to my first time getting coffee here, I've also come for various events, but its my first time leaving a review, because I couldn't not do so for this. Got their email with the new seasonal drinks including this Orange Blossom latte that I just have to try. Ordered it from home on their app as I head out for work yesterday, get there, head straight to the counter, it's not there. All good, I'm only 5 mins away, I see it's already packed in here this early in the AM, so it's just not ready yet. I sit to wait... tick, tick, tick, time goes past, commute out there's getting worse, time to clock in's getting closer, where's my coffee? One of the baristas calls me up to the counter and she's like: What'd you get? I tell her and she says I don't have a ticket for that. I tell her, No I ordered it on the app. I go to look, and Dang, still unpaid in my cart. Line at the counter's long so I reorder on the app right there on the spot, go sit back down. Tick, tick, tick... tick, tick, tick... Girl calls me back up to the counter: I still don't see your order... No, you saw me order it. Pull it up on my app and Fuuu, I ordered it for Hill St in DTLA, this is Slauson. I look up and she says: Don't worry about it, you don't have to drive all the way over there, I gotchu. I dropped $5 bucks in their glass tip jar on my way out. Ain't no way Starbux up the road would've done that. I wish I'd gotten her name, but if you're reading this, you have no idea how much you made my morning yesterday. Thank youuu! And that OBL was so good.“

I have to say. if you’re looking for a real Brazilian superfood açaí experience, you’re going to love this place. It’s one of the best açaí bowls I’ve had outside of Brazil.
