“We found Aunties Cafe while waiting for a table at another restaurant. We were in a rush because my son had to get to work. Luckily there were open tables and our order was taken immediately.
The food was delicious, hot and served by a friendly face. They checked on our table and even offered to-go boxes.

“Love this mom and pop donut and sandwich shop!! Conveniently located on a major street corner (182nd/Western) for easy access. Their donuts never miss - light and airy for the raised ones, dense and satisfying for the cake ones. Their full sandwich menu is available any time, and I've gotta say there's something particularly satisfying about putting down an entire roast beef sandwich at 6am. Super friendly service and great food...can't ask for much else!“

“I love getting boba from here I usually use the app to order ahead. Unfortunately I don't like that the all doesn't have an option for No ice, only Light ice. My teeth do not like ice. Also if I could add extra sweetener on the app or just be handed some packets of sugar. I like my Thai iced tea with boba, no ice and extra sweetness The atmosphere there is always busy.“

“I love this place for breakfast! It has so many delicious options. I have tried quite a few of their offerings but I really like their Chilaquiles. They taste almost as good as how my mom makes them! They offer spicy and non spicy but I always pick spicy. And the spicy level is very good. Their pancakes and crepes are also good. I used to come here before when it was next door and it was a much smaller suite. Now it's a much bigger dining area and it's more comfortable to dine in. The wait can be long on weekends but if you're willing to wait it's well worth it. The quality is top tier here. While you wait for your food they give you a small sample of the Mexican Conchas offered by a nearby business called Panecito which has good Conchas as well. Definitely make this a spot to try. Also, the coffee is great, they have French vanilla and hazelnut as creamer.“

“Their food is so tasty. We tried the mergez sandwich with their French baguette and sautéed potatoes. We loved it. We also had a café crème with a delicious mille feuille (French pastry). their staff is very friendly. They do their best to make you feel comfortable. I definitely recommend this place.“

Best tofu vermicelli I’ve ever had, sweet braised tofu, perfectly cooked noodles..it was perfect! The blue crab imperial rolls were crispy and complemented with fresh veggies! But for me, the absolute must have - legendary item on this menu is the the Horchata Latte. Sweet baby Jesus it is good. Certainly top 3 for coffee drinks I’ve had in LA. It is soooooo dang good I would come back out of my way just for that latte. Man I would pay good money to know how to make a drink like that! Definitely will be back.

“I can’t really rate the atmosphere since my food was delivered…I’m going to go visit the restaurant and give the food one more try…but this first go around I was not impressed by the food…the banana bread didn’t really have any banana taste to it and the chorizo croissant was very underwhelming with 2 pieces of thin chorizo sausage which looked and tasted like pepperoni….I gave the restaurant 5 stars because the lavender latte is one of the BEST coffees I’ve ever had…if this restaurant only sold coffee and nothing else they would still thrive….“

“GBB COFFEE ROASTERS (est 2021) is cute lil modern coffee shop that offers coffee and tea, pastries and breakfast items. It’s located in the heart of Manhattan Beach (the corner of Highland ave and 13th street) gives surfers and beach visitors the ideal coffee kick just steps from the pier. They have locations in Santa Monica and Culver City.

I came to grab a Flash brewed iced coffee. It was perfect thirst quencher. Staff were great, as well as their service. Some drink and food items were a bit pricey.

Overall, I had a good order experience and enjoyed their iced coffee.“

Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor, no steps, fairly spacious dining room. Utensils, napkins, water etc. are self-service from a high counter, so you might have to ask that they be delivered to the table along with your food. Staff seemed genuinely friendly and helpful.“

It's definitely the best coffee in the area, from a latte to the cold brew cream, it's consistent and strong and super high quality. I also love the staff, they're super nice and friendly! The pastries they bring in are delish too (the cherry muffin in this WHOA). The only thing I wouldn't get again is the breakfast burrito from the case, but that's just a personal preference.
