“The food was excellent! The salmon salad was fantastic, and the oysters were some of the best I've ever had. The sangria was so fruity and refreshing, and the Old Fashioned was fantastic. The service was stellar... until the very end. It took me months to get this reservation, and I had planned this special evening to celebrate my husband's birthday. At the beginning of our dinner, our waiter mentioned that he was going to do something for my husband's birthday. I assumed it would be a dessert or some kind of special touch, so I was excited and waited for that perfect ending and birthday picture to capture the experience I had planned so far in advance. Unfortunately, that moment never came. Our waiter completely forgot, brought us the check, and that was it. No birthday acknowledgment, no dessert, nothing. I know it may seem like a small thing, but when you spend months planning a special evening, those little details matter. I left disappointed in the one thing I had been looking forward to most. My tip reflected how the evening ended. The food and drinks were absolutely wonderful, but I wish the experience had ended on the same note it started.“

“I’m basing my review on two different cake donuts from two different visits….One was chocolate with vanilla icing, the other crumb-top—both of excellent donuts. The cafe also serves coffee, breakfast, sandwiches, but I came for the donuts.

The cafe itself is very clean, good music playing, booth tables lining the windows, upgraded with a digital menu board. Nothing fancy, yet nicely upgraded interiors with tasteful finishes. It’s a perfect traditional Los Angeles donut shop that has invested in offering a comfortable cafe experience with above average food.

Next time I’m ordering coffee and more donuts, maybe a sandwich, and bringing something to read and stay a while.“

Palm court Cafe will make your exact order from scratch and it will taste delicious every time. “A high quality Vietnamese restaurant with spectacular food. Like wild good! So delicious and worth the price you pay, which is on the higher side. Bahn mi was hefty and perfect. Fries were enough. Garlic noodles were so well made it blows my mind.

“They use real fruit in their drinks. The watermelon slush is great. My favorite is the taro smoothie with easy boba. I have never tried their food or desserts. Their ap keeps track of your purchases so you can earn a free smoothie. I like this place and recommend it.“
