“This place is a literal gem. From the really nice outdoor heated seating, to the incredibly kind and accommodating servers, this place is a must see for Rodondo beach area.

I highly recommend getting the Palo Azul tea, the only fluorescent tea in the world (!?) which is mild but very healing. Oh and their fresh bread slaps.“

“Went to Yamashiro for the first time today! I have to say this is probably one of the best sushi places I have ever been to. The fried oysters were delicious! We ordered three different rolls and all of them were just beautiful from a presentation and artistry perspective, but tasting them was even better! The volcano roll was served on grapefruit slices, which made them very colorful and the scallops were cooked perfectly. The Yamashara roll was not only beautiful but it's the first time I have ever had mango with my sushi rolls and it actually added a really nice dimension of tropical fruit to already super fresh tasting tuna and avocado. The crispy roll had fried onions that were somehow not greasy, which was surprising. I'm wondering if they were air fried? But really great addition to texture for the rolls. We also had the yellowtail collar, which was cooked flawlessly. Oftentimes, yellowtail collar can you overcooked so part of it can be fairly dry. This caller was moist all the way around, perfect pockets of fish fat, and a very light unami salty flavor. The last thing we had, which I think was very fortunate because they don't always have it, was the Japanese tuna Ono which was cooked in a wonderful miso sauce.

I know I keep going on about this spot, but these rules were truly unique and I eat a lot of sushi, lol! Did I mention that we had a wonderful server, which I didn't get her name, but she's a Japanese woman that may have been the owner. I'm not sure, but her spirit was so respectful and refreshing and we loved her kindness and attentiveness. Really great service! I can't wait to go here again next time I visit the Redondo Beach area!!!“

“I reside closeby and find this small deli sized restaurant a must if you're craving Taiwanese Chinese faire. It is the real deal and the daughter owner lady works very hard and her crew pumps out the grub fast. Her dad is there with her kid usually and the nicest people. He delivered food once to my house in a jiffy.

Food is on point, delicious and flavorful, accompanied with their sauces. I like medium to hot food and this hits the spot. No options other than greasy China Coast where I have seen someone blowing his nose as I was picking up my food or Lotus Chinese.

Nevermind the complaint artists. I've not had a bad meal. Some of the pricing may be on the high side but competitive with the other two mentioned. Hey, we're by the beach, so just enjoy!“

“We recently catered a birthday party w/Casa Playa. It was pretty short notice, 3 days, but they really made our party perfect! I called and Alathena helped walk me through the menu to choose just the right amount of food. They provided the buffet racks and the sterno (saved me a couple of trips looking for them). Everything was delivered exactly on time and hot! They even provided signs to make choosing easier. The food was DE-Licious!! Crispy tacos were awesome as were the enchiladas. “So i got the burrito and its hearty. Great for the price. I think its a top place around here if id get a burrito. I haven't tried the rest of the menu but cool staff. It was a but cold inside, like jumping jacks cold so eating inside was annoying. But goo resturaunt it seems. Ill be back im sure.“

“One of all favorites branch place in Redondo Beach area, they close at 2 PM. We love their hot and fresh food after order doesn’t take more than 15 minutes. Parking is a little hassle, but it’s still worth it. If you go 2/3 blocks away, you can easily find parking. Before you go, make sure to get in the line from yelp otherwise you have to wait in the line. Service is excellent.“

“It has really warm and comforting things to enjoy inside The Original Pancake House in Redondo Beach where I visited with someone. The place feels really lively and welcoming there in a way that teenagers would enjoy a lot. The pancakes and other foods that I ordered, like the fluffy stacks that looked almost cartoonish, didn’t cost anything extra beyond the menu price at all. By my surprise, the food looked completely picture‑perfect and fun even though it was just breakfast, which makes it perfect for teenagers who love taking photos of their meals. It is a new restaurant to me but I didn’t realize how much there was to enjoy there until I sat down inside. I really appreciated how easy it was to have fun eating there without feeling rushed. I never doubted that the experience was going to turn out the way I hoped it would. I only visited The Original Pancake House in Redondo Beach one time in my life before I made this review. It was one of the most enjoyable and comforting breakfast places I’ve been to in a long time, and I would highly recommend that even teenagers go there because it gives them a place to enjoy good food, take pictures, and feel relaxed. I saw a lot of other teenagers there during my visit, and it made the whole place feel even more teen‑friendly and inviting.“

“This is our favorite poke bowl spot in the area because you have so many options and everything is fresh and delicious. The bows range in size so you can do a lighter bowl with a green base or go for the traditional rice if you dare. The eel here is really good and most poke spots don't even offer it. Fish is super fresh and there are seemingly endless toppings, sauces, add-on, and choices where you could do thousands of combinations. There are little things too.. just the say the kitchen puts the blows together they always look very artistic and appetizing.. other spots the bowls just aren't this pretty. If you love poke this is the place for the fully loaded style bowls with a ton of options.“
