“First time trying their poke but it was so refreshing in this summer heat! Tried their Signature Poke and a tea which came well portioned in terms of protein and had a nice amount of sauce. Cost-wise it is a little bit on the more expensive side for a poke bowl so I don’t know if I would come here often. A nice thing to try once!“

“Nothing to compare with locally because we are from Colorado Springs where the best local ramen (Rooster Ramen) closed years ago and we haven’t had anything good since other than a few hit pot places. Otherwise we were impressed by the service (Lucia paid closed attention to our table) and the speed at which our ramen and katsu was placed at our table. Broth, noodles and meat were excellent. No complaints from us and reasonably priced!“

“Josui is the most authentic tasting Japanese ramen restaurant I’ve found in Torrance. My personal favorite is the Abura Soba, especially in the warm summer months, but the Josui ramen both with and without garlic is fantastic. My co-workers go nuts for the Tan-tan men.

We told her that this was our first time & she made recommendations & even brought us a few things to try (on the house)! “I was very pleased with the restaurant's atmosphere, the staff's service, the prices, the menu, and the quality of the dishes. I was pleased that they offered smaller set meals than the standard menu. The meatloaf was delicious. The navel orange juice was also excellent. It was wonderful to dine in a relaxed atmosphere in Torrance, and this restaurant has become one of my favorites. I hope to return in the future.“

“BEST PIZZA IN THE SOUTH BAY! My boyfriend introduced me to this little gem a few years ago and I can honestly say any other pizza I try since doesn't come close to the amazing taste that Jack's pizza makes. We're lucky enough to live 3 minutes away from this place, so we usually pick up and bring the pie home, but it's always piping hot and perfection every time. I honestly don't go anywhere else for pizza since my first bite of Jack's pizza, and I can pretty much guarantee you won't either. This place has been around for a long long time, I think somewhere around the 80's and I hope they stay around making magic in the kitchen for many years to come. A young gentleman name Andrew went above and beyond to provide exceptional service . He was very nice, professional and overall a very happy person who loved his job. Its employees like this that makes a business successful! Its because of Andrew is why I came back today since I was in the area . I had several options of restaurants to choose from and chose to come back to Blue Salt Fish Grill. “Walked in and got a pizza and side of BBQ wings as a take-out order (you can order at the bar). Waited no longer than 15 minutes. Service was friendly. Food was enough for 2 people. Pizza was great and the BBQ wings were the best I've had in Downtown Torrance.“

“I've been to several Marugame locations, and I like this one because it is very spacious and in a great location. Service is always consistent.

That said, I'm glad that I came back to a lovely surprise. For a very short period of time, the Nikutama Curry Udon, a huge customer favorite was taken off the menu. I'm happy to say that it has returned after much customer feedback. Thank you to the CEO for listening to the uproar and for reverting the menu to include this dish again. There were enough fans of that udon bowl who were ready to choose violence, so I hope it returns permanently.

If you haven't tried the Nikutama Curry Udon, it's a must-try at least once. You will not regret it.“

“This was our first time eating Okonomiyaki! We didn't get a chance to try when were in Japan so was happy to find this gem. The food was a delicious as it looks! Noodles were perfectly crispy and the sauce really brought the whole dish together. It was SO good. Also got the omurice--tasted different than the one we had in Japan, but still good. Super nice staff and restaurant is baby friendly with a booster/high chair available for use. Great place, super authentic.“

“Authentic, high quality yakitori restaurant with a large Japanese clientele. We arrived at the restaurant at 6:45pm on a Sunday and the restaurant was full except for the 1 table we had reserved. We tried most of the chicken yakitori selections, and a few of the beef, pork and fish ones as well as the vegetables. They were all good and comparable to the high end yakitori restaurants in New York City. The service was friendly and efficient, considering there were only 2 people covering the entire restaurant. Overall a good yakitori restaurant.“
