“I have nothing negative to say about this restaurant. I love the menudo. Today, my coworkers and I ordered 3 menudos for lunch. Everything was delicious. However, the plastic spoons provided were sharp around the edges, and it cut my top lip, and my coworkers agreed that they to experienced the same. I did call the restaurant, but the manager wasn't available until after 6 pm. I was told by the gentleman on the phone that it has never happened before. Maybe, but it happened to us today. 2/2/24 I just want to make them aware and anyone who may order take out (especially). It could just be a bad batch of plastic spoons. They come with a fork, knife, and napkin.”
“Sports and music combine perfectly at Rock & Brews. There is a great selection of tap beers and the margaritas are fantastic. We always feel welcomed by the staff whenever we visit. Would highly recommend Rock & Brews Redondo!”
“I recently dined at Urban Plates in Torrance, CA, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of phenomenal. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance enveloped me in a warm and inviting atmosphere that promised a delightful dining experience. However, what truly set this visit apart was the extraordinary service provided by our server, Danny.Danny was the epitome of professionalism mixed with genuine care and attentiveness. Not only did he make expert recommendations that catered perfectly to our taste preferences, but he also went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our meal was to our liking. His attention to detail was impeccable, and his friendly demeanor added a special touch to our evening. The food, as always, was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Urban Plates' commitment to quality and sustainability is evident in every bite. But it was Danny's exceptional service that transformed our meal into an unforgettable experience. His dedication to exceeding customer expectations is a rare find, and it's servers like him that make Urban Plates stand out in the bustling culinary scene of Torrance.I am incredibly thankful for Danny's outstanding service and cannot recommend Urban Plates in Torrance, CA, highly enough. If you're looking for a dining experience that combines delicious food with exceptional service, look no further. Be sure to ask for Danny, and you'll be in for a treat!”
“We often go downtown for gyros but this is our first time local. This place is a jewel and the best gyros I have had!Very high quality food and I love the cucumber/yogurt source we will definately return.”
“Amazing food and lovely service! Was immediately greeted with a welcoming smile from Bobby who proceeded to give us outstanding personalized food and wine recommendations. We had the scallops (on lobster risotto — oh my!) and the bolognese with in-house ground rib-eye (another oh my!). We love big bold reds and he recommended a delicious cab sauv from Priest Ranch (which is rarely seen on a restaurant wine list), and it was well priced to boot! We usually are not dessert people, but when he said strawberry shortcake made with a homemade biscuit — Southern style — I was sold. It was truly just like my grandmother’s. We will definitely come here again!Parking: Plenty of street parking and a free lot is around the corner”

“Best omakase for the value in South Bay. Owned by a Japanese husband and wife duo in a strip mall corner. Parking has always been available every time we’ve been here, and we’ve came over 6+ times now. Go often and keep them in business for years to come!”
“GREAT STAFF!Cain is an asset to your establishment. I was having a meal here and I couldn’t help but notice he has a great attitude and attentive to the customers. I overheard him taking care of a customer who complained their coffee was burned. He addressed it and she left smiling. Management material. A+++”
“This place has been around forever and I'm happy to see them grow! From a small hut taking cash only to now the double sized location and taking cards!Their soba and udon are home made and a very unique glow to their noddles. The soba looks a little clear. And the udon is very thin with texture.I am so mad I didn't take photos of my friends plates as everyone had a good spread of noodles. The nebaneba has been my favorite to go to.I sometimes get their kakiage a la carte It's like $7 but super huge!!! It's super good but I wish they just made it half the price and gave half the amount Regardless this place has all your favorite noodle additions! Tempura, shabu shabu meat, etcYou can also get donburi and their combo is fair priced. When you feel like you can get more you can always get foster freeze soft serve next door!”

“My coworkers and I got Peet's this morning and it was amazing! It was actually my first time trying Peet's. I got the iced matcha latte. It was sweetened perfectly and had a nice, strong matcha taste to it. The foam on top of the latte made it so much more delicious. Will definitely be coming back!”
“This seems to be true midwestern comfort food at its finest!I admit that I am a SoCal native, so if I’m wrong, please forgive me.But wow, I will definitely be back!”

“All in all, pretty good food and service and the prices were fair by today's standards. The only negative I would add is that I definately would not recommend their Cole slaw.”
“Newberry is a hidden gem in the Southbay. The coffee is always great, the baristas are always friendly and the wait is always minimal. I have sampled the regular coffee, espresso, cold brew and cappuccino and all are great. I have even purchased their whole beans and have been equally impressed. My only complaint is that I wish that they had more seating.”
“This is a decent restaurant for take out. There's no seating and the parking is a bit difficult, but their prices are very reasonable.Vegetarian options: It's mostly vegetable stir fry.”
“I was trying to place an online order. However, since I was in the area, I walked in myself. Nothing Bundt Cakes is nestled in a corner plaza. small parking area. However, I had no issue. I walked in and immediately received help. I needed more than a few minutes to decide what I was actually going to choose.Wow, this can be dangerous! they have a Reese's Peanut Butter bunt cake {rolling eyes} I just ordered all 6 that were available. I need someone to help me stop, lol. It is most definitely easy to buy with our eyes. Especially it being Valentine's Day.Actually, I'm here to get something for my neighbor she has been such a sweetheart, there was a cute 2 pack bundts together, ready for a gift chocolate chip, and lemon was in that there are several flavors for every palette you can not go wrong.!One thing I I ordered 3 RCP Assorted Buntinis at $88.00 those specifically with the stakes displaying true love, hug me, and whatnot with Maya specifically So after I got home, I realized they did not have them. So since I did not get to see in the box as everything came back packed.Next time, I will look inside. Save me the time and any errors occurring. I was not charged for them as they were an add on of 8.00 I was informed after I phoned even tho they were requested.”

“I have very high standards with pizza and most of it in California is garbage, I’m sorry. I had a calzone so although it was not pizza I’ll critique it as if it was. The crust was good, the cheese and pepperoni were great. The sauce…uh…well, it wasn’t bad. It had a touch of sweetness to it that I assume many customers love and they should continue if it works for them but I prefer a more tomato-y taste. Next time, I’ll try the pizza to see if it is different. I also had the spaghetti. That was far better. The meatballs were kicking like Jackie Chan. By the way, the garlic bread was HUGE!!”
“Phenomenal food that tastes like loving home-cooking. When we go here, it's such a friendly atmosphere, makes you feel like family. 10/10The Banging Chicken is a must, but everything is so good!”

Wadatsumi
“Perfect place for dinner or lunch. Food is fresh, delicious and service is quick. We had a young man server, and he is very attentive and does a great job introducing new dishes. New for me at least.”
“I didn't take any pics but I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of our meal. I had the gyro plate. The salad was fresh, the hummus was smooth and seasoned well. I loved the golden raisins in the rice and the gyro meat was tasty. The sauces were delicious too!”
“Some of the best tempura in LA. I really like their tempura bowl, especially the tempura egg that you break apart and the yolk spreads over the rice. I typically pair it with the soba noodles. I love this small business started by a Peruvian man Carlos who had a passion for tempura. Highly recommend.”
Outdoor Dining
“Great food, clean store and friendly staff throughout dining area & behind counter. It's gotten pricier but as a treat, it's still a worthwhile visit!”
“Located on the busy corner of Del Amo and Hawthorne Blvd in Torrance, this restaurant is always busy day or night. Ordered to go by walking into the restaurant and placing an order. Hit this place up right before i headed to the airport so grabbed the standard double double with side animal sauce and a neopolitan shake?Wait time was as expected, but not bad since it took a little over 12 minutes on a weekday late afternoon. A must go to place whenever visiting cali.... 5 stars??”

“Tried this new place out. We had the all you can eat lunch special. There were definitely some pros/cons.The pros were: excellent food (especially the butter chicken), great naan! Price was reasonable at $19 per person. Easy to park with no extra cost. Dessert was good but they only had a fruit salad NO sweet rice or NO gulab jamun (which I normally looooove to eat at other Indian restaurants). Good service, the waiter was kind. The cons: the atmosphere could have been more upbeat, it was very quiet (no music playing), they ran out of the dish we loved so we had to wait an extra 15-20 minutes before they brought more out and the rice was limited; I think we could have asked for more but we ended up just using what they gave us.”
“I didn't take any pics but I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of our meal. I had the gyro plate. The salad was fresh, the hummus was smooth and seasoned well. I loved the golden raisins in the rice and the gyro meat was tasty. The sauces were delicious too!”
“We accidentally went to another brewery instead of this one but I'm glad we got back in the car and headed here... food was good and beer was even better... I tend to like my beer colder but other than that it was good. They had live music which is what attracted us to this place!”
“Smog City Brewing Co. is one of the best breweries I've been to in the LA Metro! They have a nice taproom space that expands outdoors, they have TV's playing whatever major game is going on that night, and the beer is top notch. My group thoroughly enjoyed the Tuna Thai Thai Belgian Blonde w/ Prickly Pear,Coffee Porter, Snuggly Bug Sour, Hoppy New Year Spruce Tip IPA and Unyielding Haze IPA! The Portuguese, Spanish and Mexican fusion taco stand was also amazing, and we came back for seconds! Some of the best tacos we've had in a long time! The prices for the beer here were also below market average which was a nice change of pace, especially since everything was delicious. 5/5 would highly recommend stopping in!”
“Tucked away in Torrance, you'll find a little slice of France at Eclair and Cafe. It's a place where the coffee, like their signature Caramel Macchiato, is always rich and the bakery smells like heaven. When you order their Chicken Sandwich, expect nothing less than the freshest ingredients, making each bite a delicious reminder of what good, simple food tastes like. Run by a family that puts their heart into every order, this cozy spot makes everyone feel like a local. Pop in for a taste that's genuine, service that's quick, and an experience that'll keep you coming back.”
“I loved this place. If you are looking for a very quiet place to spend time alone or with your partner, this is the place. They have a jukebox where you can choose the music you want to listen to.They only sell beers. It was a shame not to arrive earlier to have dinner there because I found the kitchen closed. The girl's service is very good, friendly and always attentive.”
“Omg their sandwiches are the best. Will drive out of my way to go to Tuckers deli to get my the turkey bacon avocado. The bread omg the bread is delicious. You must try Tuckers deli.”
“So I have to admit this was my second time going so I figured this was a time to do a review. First off I want to say the food is definitely worth the wait so that definitely is a plus now this being my second time I will say the first difference I noticed was in the portions mind you when I went the first time it was not busy we really did not have to wait long for our food at all but the second time we decided that we're going to go into the parking lot we're going to call our food and they gave us a 15 before our food will be done so we figured let's wait in the car because they had live music and it was busy. Now we took 20 minute before going inside just to find out that they did not even make our food what is highly frustrating I'm okay if you say let's call in the order so we don't have to wait in line to pay which I'm all for it but a full disclosure would have been better than waiting an extra 30 minutes for a food on the inside and eventually going back. Also it will be nice if I was told over the phone we won't start cooking your food until you pay for it because instead of us waiting outside we would have came and paid for it and only waited however long it took to make the food because they make food and order in which its paid because you can physically see it what's your name which is also fine however I did not expect to wait that long for some food otherwise why not just say you have to order inside or it's better if you do it through an app so we can start your food and it can be ready..Now looking past that when I tell you the quality and the taste of the food was exactly the same from the first time I went I praised the people and their recipe in a consistency that they give when making the food. And yes of course it's because they don't cook things out of order they cook them as they get to them and your food does hot but I wish that earlier part was communicated a lot better because then I know how to move from there of course I came there for the food so I was not leaving but knowing how much I'm actually going to wait will have me plan out better because it kind of ran longer into other things we wanted to do...I would still want to try them again just to make sure. I just hope the phone experience is not the same”
“The service at the drive thru window and inside is constantly accurate, fast and courteous. The food is always good. My favorite is a tuna melt, chili burger, orange bang and corn dogs. Seating is ample and it’s always clean!”
“Completely wonderful staff! Super accommodating for my crowd with multiple diety restrictions! Including gluten free, and vegetarian. Very patient wait staff and amazing authentic Italian feeling ambiance. Beautiful interior and just a wonderful experience!”
“My food was amazing! I got the whole chicken, spicy lemon flavor. The rice and potato salad is always top notch. This place never disappoints me. The service is always amazing, and the atmosphere is great too. It's a win-win!!”

“great food for a reasonable price, and very friendly servers :) they're rlly open to questions and are also quite efficient. there were also plenty of options, and they are always ready to refill any appetizers. would def recommend ?? my family got the beef combo and the japchae!”

“An old fashioned diner without the old fashioned prices and greasiness but you get what you pay for here at Nordstrom Bazille and that includes quality service and well executed dishes that satisfy those old fashioned cravings like the Tomato Basil Soup, Turkey/Bacon/Avocado Club and Fried Chicken Sandwich.......Yum!!'”
“My favorite hearty Japanese Udon / Soba / Tempura place in Torrance! Had tempura soba (hot) and marinated tuna bowl with plum sake and it was outstanding. Friends said cold soba was also really good, and agreed the tempura was impressive.”
“El Torito Restaurant in Torrance is great . The best thing about it was the amazing service that we get from Gerardo from the moment we get seat and the moment that we leave . Gerardo is always attentive to our needs and smiling ? all the time and the food is always delicious but always ask for Gerardo if you want amazing service.”
“Walked in and immediately saw familiar faces. Amazing service, as soon as I sat at the bar, I was assisted, and even though I was early for happy hour, they still honored the prices. Food was SO GOOD. I recommend the Korean BBQ wings and parm fries. Fries were crispy and just enough parm sauce on top, garnished with a blend of herbs. Karaoke started just as I was leaving, but I could easily stay and have a great time doing that. Best local Tavern, in my opinion.Parking: There are tons of parking options right out front.”
“First time here and will definitely be returning ! We ordered a few matcha smoothies, a salmon hand roll, and Nutella taiyakis. Everything was made fresh to order. The salmon smelled and tasted super fresh and had no fishy smell at all. The taiyakis were delicious, and the young woman at the register was friendly.”
“Place is a little dated and feels a little like you are a number . The food is not your typical diner food and I was good with that. I got the Huli Chicken with macaroni salad and it was goid. It's worth a visit if you happen to be passing by, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go here.”
“The happy hour tacos were great! And they had a ton of alcoholic and non alcoholic options for drinks. The staff was also super friendly and welcoming. We’ll be back!”
“Came for a Wednesday lunch. The staff was helpful and friendly, patiently answering questions about menu items and promptly assisting when I accidentally spilled my glass of water. My friend ordered the special - fried cauliflower appetizer, which was nicely seasoned with a crispy crust - yummy! I had the soup and 1/2 sandwich with a green chili soup, which was a creamy soup with a little kick and small pieces of chicken and black beans with some grated cheese on top, and a half tuna melt. Both were good. Large patio area was nice.”
“I have visited this restaurant many times before, and the food is so delicious that I crave it regularly. I would say it is the best Japanese izakaya-style restaurant I have ever been to. The staff are also very energetic and create a lively atmosphere. My favorite dishes are the sashimi, teppanyaki, and battera. The food is always fresh and cooked to perfection. The service is also excellent, and the staff are always happy to help you choose the perfect dishes and drinks. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Japanese izakaya experience.”
“Service was very attentive. Different wait staff will take away plates and refill beverages. they come around often to see if anything is needed. Food is prepared very well and all are shareable sizes. Nice Ambiance and relaxed atmosphere. Overall a good experience and a solid place to dine.”
“Great place for any event. Had our engagement party here. Staff went above and beyond to help out! Beers are delicious with a wide variety of style for any taste. Would recommend to anyone!”
“Parking is a nightmare, but worth circling the parking lot a few time! Great staff, amazing food. Killer atmosphere. You all do need to figure out a solution to the drink glass condensation getting all over the table. Literally the whole table was wet after our party of 10 got their beverages.”
“Everything was great. The space is very clean and a good atmosphere, and the staff was friendly and courteous. The food was very fresh and prepared beautifully. Honestly the best Don I've ever had. I eat various kinds of Asian food frequently, and this is definitely within top 10.”
“After years of passing by; I finally stopped in for some grub; and I wasn't disappointed at all!!! Love the Family ENERGY going through the restaurant if you understand...I ordered Shrimp Vindaloo; my dinner companion ordered the Chicken Curry; along with some Indian style Chai Tea, Red Wine, and an Easy Garlic Naan...DeeLiShizzzzz (Delicious) is all that I have to say. Service was phenomenal; and the setting was very relaxing. I was already thinking of my next time there while eating...lol”
“This place reminds me of chiang mai! The flavors are great and the people who work there are as sweet and friendly as the people of chiang mai. Maybe the flavors have been slightly changed to accommodate American tastes but for the most part everything is really tasty here. So glad there's a few thai places worth going to in South bay and not have to drive all the way to Hollywood. As a shout out the three bowl thai spots in gardena (bowl thai, sweet rice and bowl thai grill) are my other favorite thai spots. But this one is very close if you live in the south bay. Definitely worth a visit. Crab fried rice is very tasty and the chicken khao soi is very good.”
“Cellador has long been a top-rated brewery amongst beer fans/snobs, but their niche is very particular: They produce barrel-fermented sour beers, so if you're looking for a hard seltzer, Czech pilsner, or triple imperial pastry stout, this isn't the brewery for that. Cellador's current location on Del Amo Boulevard in Torrance is not a taproom; there's no place to drink here. To be honest, it's barely even a sales location. From the large Smog City Brewing logo on the wall, one can likely surmise they are using capacity at a Smog City facility ― especially since Smog City's brewery and taproom are right across the parking lot. (That, and the first person who helped me here I later spotted worked at said taproom.) The owner came and spoke with me, and was very patient even as I admitted that I am not a big fan of sour beers and that I had not warmed well to one of Cellador's I had recently tried. Nonetheless, I did find something to purchase: a Lichtenhainer, a rare type of beer that has a lactic fermentation where the malt is smoked, so it's both smoky and sour. (It's an acquired taste, to be sure, but I love smoked beers.) While their style may not be my thing, I respect Cellador's devotion to their craft, and the owner is a really nice guy, too. I wish them the best, and while they may not be in my beer strike zone, I'll keep trying them to see what they're doing.”

Sushi Yoshi
“This is a take-out place so I dropped one star for atmosphere. The sushi was great! I got the Combo #1 to go. The chef made it while I waited and it didn’t take him 5 minutes!”

“The food is always made with love and care. This is by far the best dennys that I have been too. The servers are fast on their feet, the food is made quickly and warm, and lastly the place is well maintaned.I would recommend this spot to everyone :) Quality!”
“Teresa definitely deserves a raise, she’s so much better than her coworkers, good for her for working at the drive thru, i could neverParking: a lot of spots as it shares with other businesses.”
“Comfortable Restaurant for the most demanding palate, with a relaxing atmosphere to take a Break, also ideal for making business closing appointments...Parking: Ample customer parkingKid-friendliness: A child-friendly environment, definitely.Wheelchair accessibility: Of course”
“Service is excellent. Cashier is very attentive and caring. The restaurant and restrooms always look clean and taken care of. My meals was prepared quickly and was quite delicious. My beverage was very refreshing. Pricing is good. Would recommended to ”
“I went there early in the morning for a breakfast sandwich and I got the croissant breakfast sandwich and it was hot and fresh and delicious and the service was great and the girl wished me a happy day and everything was perfect. That's a lot to say about a fast food restaurant and I rarely go to Jack in The box but I was very pleased with every aspect of my visit”
“Well-made food, not overly messy, but definitely not under too portioned; even on the night where they are cheaper to buy. They even handled a special request without any errors. I might've like a bit more lettuce on the tacos, but no real complaints here otherwise.Vegetarian options: There was a time that I spent life as a vegetarian, and I can say many meals here can be adapted if they are not already vegetarian. Even vegan options here are pretty good.”
“This was the best McDonald's experience ever. I walked inside and everything looked immaculate. Given I was the only person in there at the time, everything was perfectly clean and soothing jazz was playing at just the right volume, prompting me to hum along. I was greeted by a beautiful woman with a smile and my food was made promptly, but not too fast. My meal was made perfectly, with crispy hot fries, a beautiful juicy burger, and a delicious Dr pepper with what appeared to be a slightly larger than normal straw, allowing mode dr. pepper to flow over my taste buds with each sip with ease. I left not only happy, but impressed, and inspired to revisit. It was as if I had visited a brand new restaurant for the first time.”
“Today is 11:30 and the guy taking our order can't even understand what we're talking about we have to repeat him out order like like three times for him to get our order ”
“I just wanted to acknowledge gratitude and appreciation for one employee there, Eric. He goes above and beyond to move people in/out as quickly as he can while maintaining the best customer relations. He remembers names, orders, and makes you smile when your in there. I was waiting for a long order and he kept me informed and asked me if I needed anything multiple times. Very hospitable! Thanks Eric! Maybe next time I will get that milkshake. Keep up the great work!”
“I just had a run in with the front workers, managers listen to me when I say those members, were welcoming, nice, and accommodating. Getting my order taken by them, made my day :)) raise their pay grade !!”
“I used the drive-thru and the line was long. Since the road was divided into two, there were cars cutting in line and I had to wait a long time. I ordered coffee and Coke, and the coffee tasted good.”
“My food was amazing! I got the whole chicken, spicy lemon flavor. The rice and potato salad is always top notch. This place never disappoints me. The service is always amazing, and the atmosphere is great too. It's a win-win!!”

“My family loves this restaurant in the Del Amo Mall we used to not eat in the mall but now there are several good restaurants. It’s fun to watch make the dumplings through the front window. Great for a fun night out with family.”
“I was looking for a place with a good organic salad for delivery and The Local Kitchen popped up. Wow! My honey and I were amazingly surprised on the flavor of the food and quality of ingredients. We ordered the Erika's strawberry blue salad, lemon herbed chicken and the grilled prime flat iron steak. The meat was cooked perfectly. We loved the mashed potatoes and wonderful asparagus. The salad was crisp and colorful. We're looking forward to visiting the tavern in the near future. The Local Kitchen has been added to our favorites' list!”
Takeout Restaurants
“An old fashioned diner without the old fashioned prices and greasiness but you get what you pay for here at Nordstrom Bazille and that includes quality service and well executed dishes that satisfy those old fashioned cravings like the Tomato Basil Soup, Turkey/Bacon/Avocado Club and Fried Chicken Sandwich.......Yum!!'”
“Fresh made flavors, lots of original creations make this ice cream shop stand out from the rest. This and fossilmans are my two goto locations for ice cream and I alternate between the too.Service: excellent all around and never once have I come here and not been greeted by some of the nicest people happily scooping ice cream for my cravings. My personal favorite flavors include Death by Chocolate, Chocolate Raspberry truffle and Cherry vanilla. All their flavors come with tons of chunks of chocolate, cherries etc.The only gripe sometimes is the scoops being a bit small but 90% of the time they are a healthy size which would fill my craving. There's always a line here so plan accordingly and try all the flavors! I do recommend flavors with less chunks of ingredients for the shakes as it hard to suck up a straw lol.I highly recommend this ice cream shop!!!”
“Perfect place for dinner or lunch. Food is fresh, delicious and service is quick. We had a young man server, and he is very attentive and does a great job introducing new dishes. New for me at least.”
“Definitely comfort food. Excellent price for the amount of food that you get. Got the Teri Special that came with such variety! As long as you're not expecting gourmet food you will not be disappointed. Will be coming back! Very friendly staff. Not big enough for sit down so recommend take out.”
“The food I ordered was AMAZING! Yummy Mexican food with very generous portions. This is going to be one of my go to places, especially, when I have guests visiting from out of town. A very happy discovery in my new neighborhood. :)”
“I recently started getting take out from here after seeing it was nearby and rated 5 stars. Step inside and you’ll see why it’s rated so high consistently! Not only is it spotless clean inside but it is delish - I get the “Fancy Volcano” roll, the salmon sashimi, and the spicy tuna roll - fresh, flavorful and the perfect ratios of rice to filling. The woman running the show at the front register - is a gem!!! Not only professional and kind but a total joy to chat with! Good service is hard to come by and she serves it genuinely. Thanks so much! See you guys next time!”
“great food for a reasonable price, and very friendly servers :) they're rlly open to questions and are also quite efficient. there were also plenty of options, and they are always ready to refill any appetizers. would def recommend ?? my family got the beef combo and the japchae!”
“This is the best Acai place I know! I always get The Cali and the fruits are so fresh ? Service is great, the people are nice. Best place to get a treat in Torrance!!”
“This is a take-out place so I dropped one star for atmosphere. The sushi was great! I got the Combo #1 to go. The chef made it while I waited and it didn’t take him 5 minutes!”
“Ordered a falafel burrito and the hummus with pita, and cheese quesadilla with chipotle sauce on the side via Uber eats.I wasn't crazy about the pita bread itself and the hummus was just ok, but the falafel burrito was great! I love the fries in it and the tahini is delicious. The burrito is very large and very filling, I ended up saving half for the next day and it was still just as tasty. I highly recommend getting a side of chipotle sauce to dip anything you order in!”

“Cute and cozy spot with fantastic customer service, food, and overall loveliness! I happen to mentioned to a friend that I would have ordered another flavor, had I noticed it earlier, and they gave me a sample without even needing to ask. Thank you so much!”
“Was in the mood for Korean BBQ and came across this place nearby on google maps so decided to give it a try? Went with a group of four people, and this restaurant has set menus which was very convenient. Ordered the beef and 8 kinds of marinated pork belly set (Family Combo 2 that feeds 3-4 people) and this set came with a large stew hotpot also. We thought we would have to cook the meats but Casey, our awesome server came by and grilled the meats for us as we ate the grilled meats off the grill. A couple soju and beers and this made for probably the best meal on my cali trip?? The service, the marinated pork, and the stew was both filling and delish. Would highly recommend.... 5stars ??Parking: Parking available right in front of restaurant”

“My favorite hearty Japanese Udon / Soba / Tempura place in Torrance! Had tempura soba (hot) and marinated tuna bowl with plum sake and it was outstanding. Friends said cold soba was also really good, and agreed the tempura was impressive.”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“I wish I could drink here everyday. They make the best ipas in the world. Staff is always chill and helpful. Been to both locations and you get the same service. Been drinking monkish for 8 years now and finally got to visit the Brewery the past 2 years. Cheers”
“Is it greasy? Yup.Has the best service? NopeOne of my fav cheeseteaks? Yup.Been coming here for over 20 years since used to work in the area. The original the chicagobis all good. The Buffalo chicken tho... fire.Pro-Tip: Always sauce up the samiches with the hot sauce”
“The Texas dog is really really good. There's lots of stuff on it and it really fills you up. I also wish that they would bring back the hot dog that they brought out at the same time as they did the Texas dog it had barbecue sauce on it and pineapple and believe it or not it was super good too. It's one of those things you got to try it and you'll find out just how good it is. I used to think pineapple pizza with ham sounded disgusting until I tried it. 30 years later I'm still ordering it. Also the french fries are very good .”
“Best burgers in town!Chicken and breakfast items are solid, too; Good portion size.Staff is friendly.Atmosphere is what you'd expect from a burger joint. But the location is kept very clean.I come here at least 1-2 times per month, to fix my cravings for a good bacon cheeseburger.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair ramp and automatic sliding doors for accessibility”
“The food is delicious! Their burgers are amazing and the fries and onion rings are equally as good. I hadn't had a turkey burger from there in a long time. It was just as good as the last time I ate one. Quality stands the test of time.Vegetarian options: They have a few options for vegetarians and they always take things off or modify whatever you want.Dietary restrictions: They will modify any of their menu options you just have to ask.Parking: Parking lot has plenty of parking however if it does happen to fill up you can park at 7-11 or go through the drive thru.Wheelchair accessibility: They are wheelchair accessable.”
“Really good Denver Omelette. The hash browns were slightly crispy the way I like it. The place isn't fancy but it's clean in the dining room. Nothing more than you would expect from a burger joint that serves breakfast too. The service was excellent.”
“I grew up eating Wienerschnitzel as a kid. I have fond memories of scarfing down their chili cheese fries, chili cheese burgers, chili cheese dogs and corn dogs well into my 20's. I don't frequent Wienerschnitzel as much these days, but there are days when the craving hits...and when it does, I hit up this location. The South Bay has quite a few stores, but this location tops them all. It's an older store, and the building is showing its age. But man, these guys deliver some of the most consistent and freshly prepared Wienerschnitzel food. The fries and corn dogs are usually fresh and hot. You can feel the heat coming out of the bags when they hand it to you. 5 stars for execution, consistency and delivering quality fast food.”
“Great pastrami sandwich! Pickling mustard, the only way it should be served. The drive-through was kind of slow but it was a drive-through at a restaurant, so It was cool..”
“My first time at this location and I gotta tell you I was impressed by the Employees so welcoming the store was very clean the set up was inviting the atmosphere was over the top .I live in sanpedro and I will surely make another trip to this location in the near future I highly recommend this store..*****Kid-friendliness: The staff was friendly”
“Something been on my mind all day… this afternoon I stopped for lunch and I decided against my first mind and went with my gut… that decision has been living in my mind rent free for 12 hrs. I’m actually not sure what to do now bc I can’t think about anything else but the next time this happens… wow.. today I went to Popeyes and I was going to get a spicy chicken sandwich seeing that it had been almost 10 months since my last sandwich. But upon arrival I seen new items and even an upgraded spicy chicken sandwich.. to my pleasant surprise they now have a variety of flavors for wings! I almost instinctively ordered the roasted garlic Parmesan wing and a spicy chicken sandwich. I pumped the breaks and the sales transaction came to a screeching halt.. i told the lady, I may not need all that food. And she let me know it would be ok to come back up after I finished my wings and order a sandwich if I were still hungry… I dined in to truly appreciate the moment and enjoy my hard earned lunch. When my order was ready it was packaged in a ln unfamiliar fashion so I didn’t notice it.. the lady, while locking eyes with me said, sir, this is your order right here. I looked down and beholden to the tray was a little box with 6 jumbo wings baptized in sauce. I indulged in those fresh out the grease wings and nearly gave myself 12 degree mouth burns but every single piece of that chicken was delectable. And I haven’t stopped thinking about it ever since the first bite. I plan on visiting again soon and I can only hope that the experience will be as wonderful as it was before”
“Fresh hot food. Nice customer service. Stumbled across this Wendy's. This seems to be a new Wendy's location. Very clean and roomy. Fast service as well.”
“Although we only got a coffee and a rice crispy treat the manager insisted we wait out the weather while we wait for our bus, even though this location is more geared for drive through customers . Thank you for having hospitality the art of witch is near extinct. That's 4 starsVegetarian options: They have themDietary restrictions: All the sugar substitutes I neededKid-friendliness: I was with my 8 year old and they showed us kindness.Wheelchair accessibility: I saw the ramp.”
“Yes... I just tried the new ? ot had everything on it! It's the one with the jalapeños BBQ sauce onion rings...my apologies for not having the exact name of burger... but you can't miss it!I went for my go to Superstar! But when I saw the picture on the menu, I say let me try. Jalapeños yesss. Try it ?”

El Torito
“El Torito Restaurant in Torrance is great . The best thing about it was the amazing service that we get from Gerardo from the moment we get seat and the moment that we leave . Gerardo is always attentive to our needs and smiling ? all the time and the food is always delicious but always ask for Gerardo if you want amazing service.”
“This was the first time dinning in this restaurant. When we walked in, we saw a sign said ‘door closed’, we thought it was rung out of business. But we overheard they are just moving to other location. The food was amazing. We ordered a hot stone bibimbap and kimchi beef tofu soup with egg. They were delicious. The banchan was very good too. I’m glad that they are only moving to other location. I will definitely go back.”
“This place is close to my heart and stomach! Our family has been enjoying Appetizer turkey sandwiches for many, many years. It was a tradition for my Mom and Dad to order them for USC football games. We are continuing the tradition to this day and have also discovered their amazing pizza! So dang good. It’s always a pleasure to see them and pick up our order. They’re always smiling and happy. Love this place! Highly recommended.”
Cheap Eats
“I've tried to eat here before but the orders were backed up! Which was only a good sign that the food was good. Finally, I was able to order take out and it was great! Very flavorful, good price and the guy that worked there brought it out to me in my car! That was sweet of him. They have an extensive menu and good lunch specials too. You have to try it!”
“This place is a South Bay gem! The coffee is the best I have found in our area, the owner/staff are super friendly, and the food is fresh & delicious. In the morning, it's packed but service is still efficient. Highly recommend stopping by and grabbing a latte and a crostini!”
“Many of the workers do not know a lot of basic questions regarding cakes and prices. I’ve ordered some drinks here over years and .. when a cup needs to be replaced before giving it to customers please do that because several times the cups are leaking every time you take a sip. Please be better at that. Thanks.”
“First time trying bagels here! David was super friendly and took the time to chat a bit - even offer me coffee, I don't drink coffee, but maybe I'll try next time! The bagel was delicious, will absolutely be back. Thank you again!”
“I have been going here for 15 years. And the quality has not decreased whatsoever. This is in my opinion the best pizza in South Bay.The pizza is very low in price and very high quality in taste. The staff are friendly and kind, and I always have a great conversation with them, though I am a talker. The interior is also a little slice of New York. Highly recommend!!Parking: Never had issues with parkingKid-friendliness: Located in walking distance from Victor elementary, Bert Lynn middle, and West High school.”
“Great customer service and coffee.I think they close on Thursdays.I decided to get some exercise and bike there but they were closed an hour and half after they say they're open.”

“Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 (Mimi and Jose are so kind!) Cleanliness: 5/5 Price: 5/5, huge portions for such a reasonable price Parking: 5/5, free parking in outdoor corporate lot Hidden gem definitely worth going to! Hamilton Place Cafe is located on the main floor/lobby level of a corporate building just across the street from Restaurant Depot and Chef's Toys. There are a bunch of different items on the menu, but the breakfast burrito is definitely my favorite! Potatoes are cooked perfectly, bacon is crispy and in every bite, and the cheese is melted goodness. The breakfast burrito comes with a homemade fresh mild salsa - so good!!! They cater, too!”
“Todd is a national treasure. I have been to over 100 brewery’s across the United States and Todd is THE GOAT of brewery bartenders, he can answer any question you have about the beer!”
“It was good in a pinch. I was in the area waiting for my son having surgery on his mouth. The bacon cheese burger was good but the fries were not so tasty and the drink was small. It wasn't too expensive. It's a small joint.”
“I started coming here about 4 months ago when I moved into the neighborhood. Initially for a quick slice on the go with one of my kids. Now pretty consistently getting a pie weekly. I’ve made some difficult requests and they have come through. Very good and affordable Pizza for LA. I definitely recommend!Parking: Tons of parking right outside. I usually get the spot right in front.Kid-friendliness: I bring my 1.5 year old with me and they always help accommodate to make it easy for us.”
“I recently tried the super sampler plate and all I gotta say is that it's definitely good. The service was amazing and they definitely have enough places to sit inside and out. I love coming here for my lunch! Definitely recommend coming here and trying the different kinds of plates they offer.”
“We love 7 leaves . I’m here every day and I drive from south redondo to get my tea. We love the staff they are so nice . Unfortunately the last 2 times I have come in they have been out of soy and oat milk and I drove all the way there only to find out they wouldn’t have it for a few more hours. We will be back but I will be calling to make sure so I don’t have to drive 30 min one way to be disappointed. Also I think they should order more soy and oat milk on delivery days so that they don’t run out. Unfortunately we dont do well with dairy.”
“The best nutrition bars!! Don't go to the supermarket and get bagels or buy pre-packaged bagels if you want a real bagel come here if you get there early in the morning they're still hot and fresh. Cinnamon raisin nutrition bar onion blueberry all of them are delicious. Prices are reasonable plus your neck to Starbucks if you want to get a coffee and they have great breakfast sandwiches with salmon.”
“Had the kale chicken salad and it was fantastic!! Fresh, delicious, good portion size. There was a bit of a line but it moved super quickly. The white garlic sauce they serve with the pita is out-of-this-world good. Can’t wait to come back to try the rotisserie chicken and the soup that looked amazing!”
“My favorite brewery in South Bay. The best place for creative sours, mango Mexican lagers, and even nitro stouts. Great hosts and curated food trucks. Mind your manners or prepare for a learning curve.”

“Place is a little dated and feels a little like you are a number . The food is not your typical diner food and I was good with that. I got the Huli Chicken with macaroni salad and it was goid. It's worth a visit if you happen to be passing by, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go here.”
“My teen daughter and I love On + On, and everyone at this location is so nice. It is next to home Depot so plenty of parking. The food is very fresh and there are so many choices you will never get bored. The sauce selections are very tasty I love all of the proteins. It is very easy to eat as healthy as you would like at this restaurant. There are so many vegetables to choose from cold and hot. I highly recommend! I always get two sauces nori and hot and get them on the side so I can add as much as I prefer. You get a very large amount of food for the price as well. Highly recommend!”

Josui Ramen
“Amazing, authentic ramen in an unassuming strip mall. Reasonable prices for the high quality. Gyoza was perfect ratio of filling to wrapper. We tried a few dishes but the Tantan Men was the winner for me. Broth was layered with flavors between the spice, the flavor oil and the pork. Definitely recommend.”

“This is amazing. Fresh fish and reasonable price!!!I have been enjoying this place since last year. Anthony is an amazing at costumer service when I requested. Thank you ?”
“Good stuff here, always consistent quality, great service and the soul is truly well done. Deep bone broth flavors brings out the best in the ramen. I wish there's more meat for what you pay but still excellent for what it is. There's not that many seats here and all parties must be present in order to be seated. So get in line and be patient”

Don’t forget Indian sweets and groceries for later! This is homemade vegitarian Indian food at its best! Check this place out!!”

“An old style Japanese restaurant, with a pretty wide range of items: soba, udon, ramen, curry, fried dishes, sashimi, sushi, rice dishes, tempura, etc. The one thing I really don't recommend is the spicy tuna roll. Tried it twice and it was very fishy both times. Nice casual place.”

“Mr Kim the owner is a character. Come early n come hungry for their happy hour, Monday to Thursday lunch hour and 5 to 630 PM. 3 pieces for price of 2 on regular Nigri sushi. Good food n good price. Place is tiny so not too good for big party. Service can be slow during Happy Hour. Come support small business.”
“Had a great meal with a group of friends here today. We had a group of about 30 with a bit of a classic car show before the meal.Restaurant staff were fantastic, food was too notch! I had a traditional fish and chips and they served it with a bottle of malt vinegar on the side. That's how it should be and I was impressed! The food was great, entire group orders taken and served quickly with no short cuts, everything was prepared properly and tasted great. Drinks were continually topped off and servers were a cheerful happy bunch. We were made to feel welcome and we enjoyed the whole experience.”
“We live at Kaia, la Bella Napoli is our favorite spot to walk to. Pizza is very delicious, way better than anything out there. Crunchy and thin, it will be greasy but that's where the flavor is in. Amazing customer service, very kind and helpful. Clean and cozy area to eat. Would def recommend it to our neighbors. The meatballs had this freshness to them. The tomato sauce was very fresh and delicious.”

“Our part of 8 reserved a couple weeks ahead and ended up in the private dining room. What a treat ! We had privacy, could hear each other well and our service was excellent! The wine choices were plentiful and our waiter was very knowledgeable about the wine and food. We shared carpaccio and two pizzas to start and then enjoyed our own delicious entrees- everything from pastas to salmon. We highly recommend this delicious restaurant and will be back !”
“I've lived in the South Bay all my life and never knew this place existed, sort of a little hidden jem. I had the infamous Matzo Ball soup. The broth and soup itself was delicious! The Matzo ball didn't have much flavor, and I found the texture hard to stomach. I also had the grilled ham and cheese sandwich with fries. The fries were perfectly crunchy and unsalted. The sandwich was amazing, and the bread is what made it. It had some sort of fennel seed. Service was fair but prices were too high, in my opinion.”
“This place is great it you come at the right time. They open and close on random days..Recommended dishes:- Mixed baby scallop and shrimp tempura bowl-Black pork cutlet with starchy egg bowl-Hamburg steak w/ demi glace sauce combo-Fried OystersThe meal set comes with miso soup and pickledveggies.”
“Hakata Ikkousha is one of the staple ramen places in Torrance and one that I love a lot. I really love the ramen and the broth as well. However, this ramen is super heavy, though. The broth is really strong and not super clean like other ramen, so if you like stronger more oily broths, this would be the place to go. Really good karrage as well.”
“I planned a Memorial event for my mom at the Depot in Torrance and I can't say enough about how wonderful and accommodating they were throughout the entire process, which made it easier on me to wrangle while also mourning the loss. From the first time I called Chef Michael to inquire about possibly hosting an event he was incredibly kind, empathetic and straightforward on how to arrange for an event. On the day of the event, the Kimono room was set up and clean, and when we had several unexpected guests, the staff quickly set up an extra table for them and were incredibly kind with impeccable service. The meal was family-style with a variety of things so people could pick and choose what they wanted. I didn't get to eat much of my meal as I was up and down trying to coordinate people, but I did enjoy a delicious croissant type of roll and the pumpkin or squash soup which I thought was delicious.Asit relates to events, they have easels you can use, and microphones for speaking, and the cost to host the event is solely for the food and beverage, there is no cost for the room and you have your own private space for an extended period of time. The chef also came around and spoke to guests during the luncheon which made it feel really special.I also want to call out Brett who was our main host and led the servers during the lunch who was personable, kind, patient, funny and really made the luncheon special.I appreciate the Depot and all they did to support us at this time and would 100% consider hosting another event there in the future (hopefully something unrelated to the loss of a family member.)”
“Came here at the advice of a local friend who swears by their tofu soup. It did not disappoint! The tofu dumpling soup and bibimbap complemented each other perfectly in this rainy weather. Service was quick and wonderful. Good, authentic Korean family cooking just like Korea.”

“Japanese Yakitori and beer. Nuff said. Always on my list when im in town since its an authentic izakaya and friends love this place. Reservations recommended since this place packs and is rather small. Grab the checklist and write down what to order and enjoy as the freshly grilled meats and vegetables arrive at your table?Wish they would open later but it is what it is. 5 stars??Parking: Lots of parking as its in a strip mall”
“Let me just the white truffle garlic bread is a amazing! Whoever came up with that recipe needs a raise! Let's jump into it. The spicy meatball pizza was delicious. My boyfriend doesn't care for anything meatball but he said it was really good. As for me I love anything meatball and to throw some spice in it, I love it! We are pesto lovers! The chicken pesto wasn't amazing so we were a little disappointed, not bad though.Let's touch on the star of the show the white truffle garlic bread, run don't walk! You will not be disappointed. The favor was astounding. The Pomegranate mule was nice, a light refreshing drink. Stay tuned for more. We plan on heading back to try more items!”

“One of my favorite spots in Torrance. I love coming here for a healthy lunch or dinner. Their wraps are fresh and are made to order. They're huge!! I love the variety of veggies and meats that I can choose to customize the wraps here. Another favorite entree here is the spaghetti bolognese. It's hearty, filling, and comforting.”
“Love Pressed! Its my reward after stuffing myself with dumplings at Din Tai Shhhhhh hahaMy go-to are the Green's, usually the Green 3. Also the non-dairy Freeze ice Cream or fruit ice whatever term should be used. Its cold and yummy. Smoothie bowls are so good also. Staff has always been cool and offer suggestions. Even for us Big Bonned'ed folk, never get any judge-y stares. Place is always clean, with light positive vibes and iam all for it.”
“Haven't been here since 2006, so happy they are still here. Absolutely the best pork chop, baked potato and sourdough bread. Thank you San Fran for the best dinner in a long time ?”
“So I come here all the time but I don't know who this guy is serving the food ( I'm use to the lovely 3ladys ) but with this guy it was dirty and tops was off food rice and beef to be exact . Usually a great experience but today no so much I asked was there more veggies he said "no and said where about to close anyways" it's only 8:15 so that's not about to close and that's rude because I didn't ask if the store was going to close when it's people in and out while visiting . Unnecessary comments shouldn't be made I don't need anyone being rude when I just want to buy food . Great food all in all I eat here everyday ? but I have to drive else where DIDNT appreciate the remarks”
“The food was good, drinks were strong, but, wow, was it overpriced! The only thing I thought was really good, was the elote. Itc was delicious and deserves 5 stars.”
“Much better than those back east. More space! People are not on top of one another! Kudos to Grant, our waiter. He made it a real pleasurable dining experience! He said it was his third week there, but he seemed like an old pro. Unfortunately, my friend spilled her drink and Grant was very attentive, replacing her drink, replacing it twice since the other one had no ice. We had two helpings of that delicious salad with Italian dressing, so much that it was hard to eat the ravioli! Of course, there were bread sticks too! No room for dessert! It was a great way to end my vacation in California! I would definitely return. Greatly recommended.”
“I haven’t visited Torihei Torrance Carson since last April 2023. Recently in Dec 31 Su 2023 outside East Gate Plaza. The atmosphere, the service & the employees were nice & friendly than I expected. However the menu has changed since I last visited with my family. Japanese to English. Although many Asians & Americans can’t read Japanese like I do. Yakitori don is absolute my favorite dishes. The yakitori are mostly delicious but 100% well cooked especially the soup such as side order. Super satisfying! I highly recommend visiting with your family and friends! I’ll definitely come back for new menu!”
“Solid burger.. it is covered with lots of extras which make it taste good.. the burger and bun gets a B. The fresh taste good and if cooked all the way they are an A.”
“Good food and nice place to dine. Our server, a very nice young man was attentive but should know the menu better. He had to ask other workers about our questions.Parking: Limited parking behind restaurant. We didn't have a problem finding parking.”
“Wow what an amazing meal! This place a delightful, bare bones cook your own fine meat to your precise liking. Excellent customer service and soju and sake. We came here for a birthday, and will definitely be returning. I highly recommend this restaurant.”
“First time here. Had reservations and saw a line out the door. After checking in we were pleasantly surprised to see that they had our table set aside and it was the last table available. That was nice. We started off with the lobster ravioli which was very good. I then ordered the chicken cacciatore and my wife had the penne ala vodka. Both were very good, the sauces were delicious. For dessert we shared a tiramisu which also was delicious. Our waiter was fantastic, we brought our own wine and he opened and poured for us and kept an eye on us thru the meal. Definitely will be back as there are meals we would love to try. 5 star all the way”
“Visited Lindor Vitamins in Torrance, California, and had an amazing experience, all thanks to Raquel's exceptional service! She went above and beyond. The store offers a good selection, although the protein shake didn't quite hit the mark. Still, Raquel's friendliness made the visit memorable!”
“Delicious Japanese Yakiniku restaurantA good yakiniku restaurant with reasonable prices and satisfying portions. You can eat liver sashimi and the mega raw version is only $12.How much does Wagyu tongue cost 20?It's deliciousYou can feel free to come with your family, but reservations are required. It's relatively empty on Tuesdays.”
“The best places to eat are hidden gems like Khun 9! I've visited a lot of Thai restaurants in Southern California, but this is by far one of the best! After having visited Thailand, I have constantly been let down by restaurant after restaurant... BUT Khun 9 came through for me, baby! I highly recommend the green curry with chicken, veggie egg rolls, and pad see ew! Also, their free infused water is delicious... And free! Need I say more?”
“I loved it! It's a bit pricey but it's worth it... also I wish they were open more lol their schedule is not average so make sure you read their schedule before you ”

“Excellent service! Attended a group dinner (birthday celebration) in a private area. The servers did an excellent job keeping up with drinks and waters. Our dinners were all served at the same time, hard to do with large groups. Food was very good and the options for the menu were all great! Nice room layout, we were all at one long table with lots of room move around and mingle.Parking is always easy at Miyako Hybrid as they have a second overflow lot for guests. In addition, they offer valet parking. Definitely would recommend the hotel for stays. Great inhouse restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Great for private events or just private dining. Plenty of space for private events just off the lobby.”
“Unexpectedly a really good breakfast place. It is one of those 'holes in the wall' that you wouldn't expect to be good. Don't be discouraged by it's outside looks.”

Da Maat
“The original Da Maat is closed and moved to the corner unit with different name , it’s newly renovated, good side dishes , but the tofu soup is slightly off compare to the last time visited .”
“If you haven’t already had the opportunity, this spot is a must try! Upon walking in, the ambiance was noticeably warm and inviting. After trying the Killer Shrimp appetizer, it became clear that the chefs know what they’re doing. The incredible depth of flavor was truly special with every dish. Aside from the amazing food, Madeleine and Christina left a remarkably positive impression on my experience as well. I'll definitely be back!”

Sushi Anza
“My first review! My visit here last night was nothing short of a revelation in the art of sushi dining. Celebrating its 17th year, this gem of a restaurant has not just stood the test of time; it has set the bar for what authentic Japanese cuisine can embody. Though it is not your modern izakaya nor fine-dining luxury, it firmly facets itself as the "OG" restaurant in the diverse Japanese dining scene.Immediately upon entering, I observed details of its classic entity by old decos of art, calligraphy, signs, photos, and handwritten notes. It was an ambiance that exuded warmth. I immediately felt the history and dedication woven into the fabric of this place. The owners have crafted not merely a restaurant but a sanctuary for those who appreciate the finer nuances of Japanese culture and cuisine.I opted for the sushi combo course. Each piece of sushi was a testament to the chef's mastery over his craft, with every ingredient shining through in a delicate balance of flavors and textures with a properly curated course. All the nigiri boasted freshness in a blend of tastes that was above satisfactory by the plate. But what truly sets Sushi Anza apart is the heart and soul poured into every aspect of the dining experience. From the attentive, yet unobtrusive service to the meticulous presentation of the dishes, you can feel the love and dedication that the owners have for their craft. It's this personal touch combined with an "aged" ambience that transforms a meal into an experience. In a world where the genuine essence of Japanese cuisine can sometimes be lost amidst fusion and innovation, Sushi Anza stands as a beacon of tradition and quality.Overall, my first visit here was a nostalgic journey through the very essence of Japanese tradition, guided by the hands of those who know and respect it the most. I cannot recommend Sushi Anza enough and look forward to many more visits. I hope to regain the same authentic warmth, excellence, and quality that hallmarks the culinary gems of Torrance.”

“The food is pretty good and the service was good. I got the mille katsu. The only thing that wasn't great was the rice that came with the meal. It was cooked well and everything but it tasted like some kind of medium grain rice so the texture was a little different. It was still really good, but maybe different rice would tie the meal together better.”
“I recently tried the super sampler plate and all I gotta say is that it's definitely good. The service was amazing and they definitely have enough places to sit inside and out. I love coming here for my lunch! Definitely recommend coming here and trying the different kinds of plates they offer.”

“I picked up a late lunch today on 6/27 and the girl that was working the cashier was so nice and accommodating - I wish I would of gotten her name! Normally I get the guy that seems to be there all the time during the day and he's not very friendly or welcoming. The food is always fantastic but you definitely need more customer service oriented employees like today.”

5 stars??”
“All in all, pretty good food and service and the prices were fair by today's standards. The only negative I would add is that I definately would not recommend their Cole slaw.”
“Parking is a nightmare, but worth circling the parking lot a few time! Great staff, amazing food. Killer atmosphere. You all do need to figure out a solution to the drink glass condensation getting all over the table. Literally the whole table was wet after our party of 10 got their beverages.”
“We enjoyed the food except my husband's steak was not cooked according to how he ordered it. We love our server, Ivan! He was attentive, friendly & very nice!! However, the ladies at the front check in counter were not very friendly.”

“The staff is top tier. The food was already good but It was my birthday and with my order, they gave me 6 extra wings. Also they gave me a UFC poster, thanks to Joaquin. I loved it. that's what I call an experience ??.”

New Restaurants
“New Korean restaurant has bbq, hot pot, Tofu soups, bibimbap. Pretty good. We arrived early in day and there was no wait. Service was prompt. They served the little complementary appetizer plates that you'd come to expect. Kimchi was tasty and a little spicy. Our favorite was their macaroni salad.I had the octopus and squid bibimbap. It was almost too spicy. I mixed it with more rice, made sure to eat some bean sprouts and rice in between bites. I surprised myself when I finished it. We also had the squid and Octupus with grilled vegetables under the fish section of the menu. It was also spicy. It came in a sizzling pot and the dish was still steaming at the end of the meal. We'd come again.Parking: Part of a mini mall with abundant parking.”
“I love this place!! I had never heard of it until I started working at the Del Amo mall, but their customer service is unlike any other food establishment I’ve ever been to, truly! They always ask once they finish making your coffee to taste it and will make adjustments accordingly so the order is fit for the customers needs/wants. The last time I went here, I was transparent with barista Irene that I was on a budget, and in order for me to afford my order, she gave me her employee discount! I’m not saying this should be expected every time, but this truly represents the commitment to customer service that Philz Coffee does.”
“Mom and Pop shop home made ice cream. Reminds me of “salt and straw” with the out the large lines. They give you samples of all flavors and they are all equally tasty. Service is excellent and welcoming.Outdoor sidewalk seating is available and indoors. It’s nice to have a local shop for sure.Worth trying and would come back.”
“The serving size of entry's are fantastic. Very attentive staff and very friendly. The halibut entry was to die for. Make a reservation with opentable as restaurant is very busy.”
