“Good quality food. Healthy options. Great service. My favorite is the braised beef and mushroom with mashed potatoes. The mango tart is amazing.”
“Outstanding food and great staff! I wish I lived in Torrance 😂😂😂⚡️❤️”
“This place is definitely under New management. I can tell the difference on my.previous visits. The new staff and service was excellent!
I’m very pleased with the cookies were so soft and fresh and looked incredible, the staff was really hospitable too. Thank you so much. I’m happy to see the changes.”
“Truly professional yet very friendly service. Well-trained young servers and chefs all knew their precise roles, and performed flawlessly but without hurry. Almost seemed choreographed! Delicious lighter broth and lovely taste. Sinfully tasty pork and beware addictive fried chicken. If you’re dieting, bring a hearty portion of self-restraint!”

“Best Persian food in the area. There is no cheating Persian food. It has to be fresh. Everything is made to order with quality. Chicken and beef are tender. The sides are amazing. My only gripe is I want them to get bigger but not lose their quality.”

“Was in the mood for some good ramen, and Josui didn’t disappoint. I let our server know it was our first time at the restaurant and his recommendations were stellar. Started with the Nagoya chicken wings, which were delicious not overly battered. I highly recommend the Tantam Men bowl, i added a level 2 spice to it and it was wonderful. Cooled down the heat with a cold draft Sapporo. Good customer service. Small bar area.”

“We had a truly delightful experience at your Korean barbecue restaurant. The quality of the meats was exceptional, and the variety offered was impressive. Our server was attentive and provided excellent recommendations throughout the meal. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making for a very pleasant evening. We wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a fantastic K-BBQ adventure.”
Outdoor Dining
“They offer a wide variety of dishes, ranging from traditional Chinese cuisine to creative Western cuisine, and there are many surprising combinations. In addition, the restaurant pays attention to the selection of raw materials and the innovation of cooking techniques to ensure that each dish can bring you the most extreme taste experience”
“Great experience. Gives that local vibe that I love. Great selection of beers and food with multiple TVs for your viewing pleasure. Our server was great as well. I believe her name is Ashley. She had a friendly personality and I can see myself coming in asking for her next time.”
“Authentic halal curries and fusion Indian topping pizzas. Small place big flavors.
Pizza crust is perfect chewy and good amount of chicken tikka on the pizza.
Also tried the Alu samosa, chicken curry, lamb biryani and garlic naan. Everyone in the group loved it. To be honest, I think this is the best Indian food spot in Torrance or Redondo Beach area. The manager is Nitin from India’s tandoori in Manhattan Beach and now he moved into this Curry and Pizza restaurant. He does excellent customer service and he is very friendly and professional. We know him for years and so happy he moved here.
Will be back soon to try other items on the menu.”
“A hidden gem. Amazingly fresh and tasty fish. Selection and specials change often and food is reasonably priced. Great spot for lunch or dinner. If you are a healthy-eater this is gonna be your new favorite spot. Takeout is fast too. Can't say enough good things about this place.”
“We are blessed to have this King Mediterráneo in Torrance. The food is delicious and very generous on the portion served. When I go there, I always try to say hello to Ara or Norah. It is such a pleasure to see and talk to them, they make me feel that we are long time friends. For sure I recommend this place and give them a FIVE STAR rating. I assure you will not be disappointed. !!!!!!”

“Came in for lunch and we were the 1st customers. We sat down and viewed the menu. Waitress did not bring us tea and after 5 minutes I had to call her over to take our order. It was definitely different than my experience with my mom. The food was good, but not as good as my previous visit.”
“Gaburi Chicken is a spot that recently opened up! The popcorn chicken is amazing; excellent flavor! This is a popular place, so be aware that you may have to head to the restaurant early! Parking is somewhat difficult to find, so be aware of this also! Overall, this place deserves 5-stars!”
“What a fantastic discovery. I was craving calzones and used to have a spot in Los Feliz which I would go out of my way for. After trying a few places which fell short of the mark in South Bay, I almost gave up on finding authentic Italian food locally. The search was worth it as this is now going to be one of my forever places to come on a regular basis. From the calzone, to the pizza, salads and even the Cannoli Siciliani Pistacchio, everything has been nothing short of amazing. To top it off, it’s family run and they are all the sweetest and most warm people I’ve encountered at any local restaurant. If you haven’t tried them yet, you need to stop by.”
“This small restaurant is located in a strip mall on Carson St. in old Torrance.. it was very busy and popular even on a Monday night! The food was outstanding starting with the beef salad.. it was very tasty and refreshing. Moving on the fancy sashimi was perfect.. very fresh and flavorful. Their beef is top notch whether it was the ribeye or the wagyu tartar service with uni and caviar.. the latter had a beautiful presentation and was equally delicious. The salmon truffle carpaccio was another winner. The service was nice and the counter seating was very comfortable. It might be a good idea to do a reservation especially if it is a busy night. the space is relatively compact and fills up really fast. This is a very authentic dining experience which has not been watered down for an American audience.. real deal outstanding Japanese food. They have tons of robata choices and their crispy pork ribs looked amazing.. def trying them on our next visit. If you love grilled meats and amazing flavor Izakaya Hachi is a must try.”
“Found a new favorite place in Torrance! Their signature sliced beef bowl is absolutely killer! The beef is so tasty, juicy, and tender it just melts in your mouth. The hamburg demiglace sauce is also flavorful and makes a perfect combo with the fragrant garlic rice. Yum!! 😋 I would be coming here all the time if I didn't live so far. 🥹”
“My first time trying this location, it was recommended to me and it’s good enough to post a review about it. The cashier is super friendly and helpful. She walked me through the process of ordering a sushi burrito. Taste was 10/10, quality was just as good and they’re handmade after you order so you do have to wait like 15min but so worth it. I got the ahi tuna and shrimp tempura with masago, green onion, and imitation crab. Second one was for my fiancé and he couldn’t get enough. Definitely stopping by next time I’m in the area.”
“We stopped by this restaurant after a meditation class at the park. This was my first visit. The restaurant offers free bread, which was warm and delicious. I ordered a California burger, and it was very good. I liked the food, and the staff were very friendly. I will definitely come back to try other dishes and enjoy the tasty bread again.”

“Excellent beer and cod fish and chips. I had a good vist this past Tuesday. Plan to return with friends. Thanks.”

“Always a great experience at this restaurant and we just love our regular waitress in fact if she’s not there we wait to sit in her section Elizabeth is our favorite server, we’re not saying that we don’t like the others but she is our favorite and is very nice and knows what makes us comfortable extra napkins & coffee creamer etc. just the little things that make us feel comfortable she really is the best in our eyes”
“Drivethrkugh was *packed* on a saturday morning, but inside was nice and empty. Took 20 minutes to get ~3 saus egg mcmuffins and a hashbrown 😕
Dont mind it too much however, was clean and quiet while i waited for my meal, and was good quality as expected from mcd's.”
“PEARL AND ALEXIS WERE SUPER PROFESSIONAL AND I liked their uniforms..snazzy!!
Almost thought I would get a filet miñon they both looked so snazzy.
Great service!
My Double Cheeseburger w/o cheese, with an extra patty was perfectly made and the temperature was hot.
Fabulous visit.
I am posting here because I needed to give kudos yet the receipt was faded due to low ink, I guess, and could not take the survey.

Happy Mother's Day 2025”
“Several weeks ago, I was at the drive thru and Kathleen was at the window. She was very friendly and helpful. Excellent representative of McDonalds. I have been going to this McD's for decades and overall, this McD's is kept very clean, food is consistently up to McD's standards, and the employees do an excellent job. Kudos to the management team over the decades.”
“Service is always lovely and the food is delicious. I've been at least 5 times, solo, as a couple, with a group and it's always be the same quality food and service.”
Takeout Restaurants

We wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a fantastic K-BBQ adventure.”
“Food was delicious and our waiter was super kind! She even went out of her way to offer me and my friends katsu, an udon katsu bowl, as well as a sample of a new katsu rice hand-roll they're working on (picture attached) all on the house, which was awesome! All the portions were great, and we still emptied all of our plates, leaving stuffed. Highly recommended!”
“The first time we tried a mochi doughnut, it was so disappointing. That was not the case here! We tried the black sesame mochi doughnut and the ube brioche (?). Honestly, I didn't pay attention to anything other than the fact the latter doughnut was ube... Ube dough with an ube custard. It was basically an ube cloud. Both were absolutely delicious and a textural experience.”
“Marsha was incredible. We were looking for someone who could provide all the dessert for our wedding, bring us something other than a traditional wedding cake experience, and also bring some extra flair to our big day. Marsha did all that and more. Our cake table was decorated so beautifully! She made the most delicious cupcakes of all different flavors for our guests to enjoy. She even made an ADORABLE cake topper for us that everyone raved about. In addition, Marsha made us a gorgeous, delicious, moist 3 layer cake , and she even was able to bring a ROLLED ICE cart too! People could not get over how cool it was to have rolled ice cream at our wedding, especially because Marsha had extra cupcakes to put in with the ice cream. She was so collaborative, easy to work with, and fun. Everything we asked her to do, she accommodate, often gently giving her sage advice along the way. We could not possibly recommend Marsha any higher than we do. She is absolutely incredible and soooo many people raved about their experience with her at our wedding. 10/10 for everything!!”
“Really liked this place. It offers quick prep moderately priced sushi that tastes good for moderately priced sushi. The only weakness was the shrimp nigari which was skimpy on the shrimp. My meal included miso soup, salad and roll, wrap & funnel sushi. I had 2 bites of the roll and drank some soup before I took the picture. I was hungry!”
“Great Pizza and a very well run business. We eat here about once a week, for delivery or take out for our staff. The Pizza is definately in the Top 3 of all time. The staff is a well oiled machine and very nice. We tip them well, and so should you. Again, about the Pizza....love it.”
“it was yakitori and izakaya place. it was sooo nice and good. it's pricey though, but that's what fine dining is right..!? so i think it is pretty good, to come with famz or colleagues 😃👍🥰”

“The sandwiches are amazing, my husband got the Monster and honestly, I couldn’t believe he finished it! It was huge. I got a vegetarian and it was made exactly the way I love to eat it:). The shop is immaculate and the owners Sara and Steve are the kindest most patient people. Being first time customers we had a difficult time making a decision because there were way too many delicious choices 😋”
“I absolutely love this place. Marugame Udon is delicious, fresh and affordable. The only thing I'd change is that it isnt comfy but guess what. Me who rarely goes tp a place with not the best seating and ambience goes with excitement. The staff is wonderful and if you go after 3 there is almost no kne there and it is my favorite time to go between the usual mealtime. No wait and ample seating. Parking and even so.e outdoor seating and a cute area for kids to play. As for the food, I always get the beef and at least one tempura sweet potato. If im splurging I load up on the shrimp tempura some gyoza and other assorted goodies. Oh and add the hard boiled egg to your Udon. I dump the leftover tempura dipping save into my bowl. I always get the large and I always have enough for the next day lunch.
If you are visiting friends or family at Little company hospital it is an easy walk across the street and you do t have to lose your parking spot.
Wonderful wonderdul place. Im an island girl and KNOW yummy UDON and Marugame Udon delivers. I love it.”
“Food is not bad. Grill is very small - good for 2 people but not for 3 or more.
Ventilation is pretty bad, your hair and clothes won’t survive the bbq odor with smoke directly hovering into your face most of the time. Some people might actually enjoy this dinning experience, but definitely not for all.
Price is on the higher side, quality is fine, overall value is average.”
“BEST PIZZA IN THE SOUTH BAY! My boyfriend introduced me to this little gem a few years ago and I can honestly say any other pizza I try since doesn't come close to the amazing taste that Jack's pizza makes. We're lucky enough to live 3 minutes away from this place, so we usually pick up and bring the pie home, but it's always piping hot and perfection every time. I honestly don't go anywhere else for pizza since my first bite of Jack's pizza, and I can pretty much guarantee you won't either. This place has been around for a long long time, I think somewhere around the 80's and I hope they stay around making magic in the kitchen for many years to come. A sincere thanks to all the staff at Jack's! Stay awesome and don't change!”
“I had the 'Beet It' juice which includes Beets, Carrots 🥕, Spinach, Apple, Pear, lemon and Ginger. I was able to fully customize the drink to my liking. The server was friendly and sincere, you know like she really cared. No affectations. This privately owned juice bar was a real gem of a place and I will be returning there again soon.”
“Stopped by Jang Su Jang in Torrance and the place was bustling, with only a few tables open for dine-in.
Ambiance (4/5): Lots of natural light mixed with warm-toned lighting creates a cozy and homey feel. The restaurant has plenty of space, with tables for both small groups and larger parties of up to 8. It was lively and loud inside, but in a good way—exactly the kind of noise level you’d expect at a thriving Korean spot. Beautifully decorated and welcoming.
Food (4/5): I ordered the Jangsu Bossam, which came with rice and two portion sizes of banchan. Everything was well-seasoned, with the cucumbers being the standout—crisp, fresh, and addictive. The bossam itself was flavorful and generously portioned (marketed for 2 but easily feeds 3). We also tried the bibimbap, which was satisfying and nicely done. Overall, both dishes were good, though not quite unforgettable.
Service (4/5): Since we ordered to go, I didn’t get the full dine-in experience, but ordering was quick, friendly, and efficient. I’ll update if I get the chance to try table service next time.
Overall: Solid Korean food in a cozy, busy setting. Worth returning to, though maybe not a place I’d find myself craving often.”
“The food is outstanding but Ms.Jean is the real star!⭐️ She has this energy you can’t match! It was our first trip to Torrance and this will be our go to spot every time we’re in town! We had the Greek Omlette which was out of this world and the biscuits and gravy breakfast which I basically swallowed. House potatoes are a must!!! Thank you Ms. Jean!!!!!”
“Johnny and Jorge made us feel like family. Great beers. Nice vibe to complement the vibe at the HB location. Now I have another amazing l place to go when in town. Love from Littleton Colorado!”
“Indoor👍🏼👍🏼we opted for it but was surprised when they ushered us to the back portion of the restaurant. It makes you feel like you really are in an authentic Japanese Izakaya restaurant.”

“It is great to see food trucks stop by periodically (usually on Fridays) so that people can enjoy some of the unique foods there. It is a simple walk from my workplace, so it is extremely convenient to get to. This is the rationale and basis for my review and rating of 5-stars on Google.”
“This hidden gem is a staple of Torrance. Kudos to Muy Pronto's for stepping up, upgrading the establishment, bringing back staff of closed Lucio's and keeping the menu the same. Food is consistent, you know every time it will be the same. Salsa is great, you instantly know the taste. And if you go enough, the staff will know you. Tip: They have the best Cheeseburger in the area!!!!!!!!”
“Mendocino Farms in Rolling Hills is the best!
This was my first time at this location and it is definitely my favorite now! I was immediately greeted by Cynthia who was very helpful with the menu. The girl Sophia who brought my food over offered to grab things for me like napkins and a container to go so I didn't have to move an inch! Besides the wonderful staff, the environment is welcoming and food is delicious. I will be back!”
“Love the Red Car find & Bob the owner. We stumbled across this place maybe 8 years ago & any time we are in area we will visit. Love the local vibe & friendliness on top of great beer & food. We do pizza on repeat! Can’t say enough about how friendly Bob & the staff are. Go see yourself!”
“A friend brought me their Matcha almond croissant, the Black forest Cake even though it really wasn't a black forest it was totally delicious as well as the matcha almond croissant. The croissant can rival any French bakery. It was buttery, soft and absolutely delicious. Thank you ,JJ Bakery”
“Exited the freeway to use the restroom, and the places looked great, and the lady at the bar was very friendly, greeted me with smile and welcomed me, when I went for the ladies room as soon as I walked in. I didnt have time to stay and try the food, since I had flowers in car, but I appreciated the friendly attitude, even when I was not a client.”

“My first visit to The Pan. It's always nice to find another great breakfast place. It will take a while to sample all the things that sounded interesting. I went for biscuits and gravy, which comes with eggs, home fried potatoes and sausage or bacon. My friend got the Pan's Signature Scramble which uses Italian sausage. Both were very good. I'm really interested in trying some of the pancake and crepe choices, but wanted to keep it simple this morning. There's plenty of room here and Donna was a very good and pleasant server.”
“There is no food here but drinks and atmosphere was great. Good service from the friendly bartender as well. The place looks smaller than the pictures but the AC was fantastically cold. Good selection of Hawaiian beers on tap.”
“Still great after all these years A nice variety of meat selections and super tasty.”

“Authentic, high quality yakitori restaurant with a large Japanese clientele. We arrived at the restaurant at 6:45pm on a Sunday and the restaurant was full except for the 1 table we had reserved. We tried most of the chicken yakitori selections, and a few of the beef, pork and fish ones as well as the vegetables. They were all good and comparable to the high end yakitori restaurants in New York City. The service was friendly and efficient, considering there were only 2 people covering the entire restaurant. Overall a good yakitori restaurant.”
“Excellent store for supplements and health food. Very wide selection of products.”
“the chicken katsu was thicc!! btw the manager is hella sexy XD”
“Best Japanese Hamburger Steak in Los Angeles
I am at a loss to include enough superlatives to describe the sheer pleasure derived from eating the hamburger steak combo at Komatsu. It is topped with an amazing demi glaze which is topped with grilled onions. The flavor is sublime and a genorous portion of meat is presented. Along side the steak comes white rice, crunchy cabbage, some pickled small vegetables and a cup of miso soup. The service is quick and courteous. The restaurant interior is humble, and japanese decor domimates. I believe the cook may be the owner. They have very good tempura as well.”
“We stopped by this restaurant after a meditation class at the park. This was my first visit. The restaurant offers free bread, which was warm and delicious. “This is by far the best all you can eat AYCE Kbbq restaurant in Torrance. The staff were incredibly attentive and A++ for the cleanliness of the restaurant. 😊 I really like that most of the common cookable meats are out on the salad bar as well as vegetables, appetizers, all the sauces, fruits 🤤 all readily available to everyone - so you can easily get more. 😉 I highly recommend trying the beef belly, beef rib finger and marinated short ribs each cut was tender and flavorful. The cheesecorn, shrimp tempura, tofu soup and baked mussels were delicious side options and cooked to perfection. 😊💯”
“I visited for lunch and really enjoyed the experience. While having a happy hour beer, I ordered the steak and pasta. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare, and the sauce had a familiar, comforting flavor that reminded me of Japanese cuisine. I truly appreciated being able to enjoy this kind of taste in the U.S.
The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, making it a very pleasant place to spend time. I would highly recommend this restaurant.”
“Great food at a good price & service is always fantastic. The last time we went, there was a new server in training & so the service wasn’t great as it usually is, BUT, she was learning on the job, which is the point of training. We will definitely return!”

“First time here had the lasagna and it was delicious and so was the bread that comes with it”
“This is the best pizza we’ve had in the South Bay in years! The wings were also delicious and the fries were perfect. The live entertainment was also a huge perk. The musician was great! Can’t wait to come back!”
“The meal comes with completely everything a lunch appetite could want.
The beef is soft and marinated so everybite is full of extra flavor. The noodles and beef combination are such a good pair, I highly recommend you try this one. The miso was a side order, I enjoy a little soup with my meals, as well as the XL shrimp tempura. The sauce and soft egg are great for dipping or just enjoying as a side. Enjoy and keep going on yummy food adventures 😋”
“My first review! My visit here last night was nothing short of a revelation in the art of sushi dining. Celebrating its 17th year, this gem of a restaurant has not just stood the test of time; it has set the bar for what authentic Japanese cuisine can embody. Though it is not your modern izakaya nor fine-dining luxury, it firmly facets itself as the "OG" restaurant in the diverse Japanese dining scene. Immediately upon entering, I observed details of its classic entity by old decos of art, calligraphy, signs, photos, and handwritten notes. It was an ambiance that exuded warmth. I immediately felt the history and dedication woven into the fabric of this place. The owners have crafted not merely a restaurant but a sanctuary for those who appreciate the finer nuances of Japanese culture and cuisine. I opted for the sushi combo course. Each piece of sushi was a testament to the chef's mastery over his craft, with every ingredient shining through in a delicate balance of flavors and textures with a properly curated course. All the nigiri boasted freshness in a blend of tastes that was above satisfactory by the plate. But what truly sets Sushi Anza apart is the heart and soul poured into every aspect of the dining experience. From the attentive, yet unobtrusive service to the meticulous presentation of the dishes, you can feel the love and dedication that the owners have for their craft. It's this personal touch combined with an "aged" ambience that transforms a meal into an experience. In a world where the genuine essence of Japanese cuisine can sometimes be lost amidst fusion and innovation, Sushi Anza stands as a beacon of tradition and quality. Overall, my first visit here was a nostalgic journey through the very essence of Japanese tradition, guided by the hands of those who know and respect it the most. I cannot recommend Sushi Anza enough and look forward to many more visits. I hope to regain the same authentic warmth, excellence, and quality that hallmarks the culinary gems of Torrance.”
“It’s one of the cheapest buffets, now that everything is so expensive . They kept their prices , ITS THE BEST HIDDEN SECRETS around 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾”
“Love to eat here . People are friendly. Hit the spot ! Thank you”
“Love the place, love the people, love the beer. Great place to get away on a hot day for a few hours with the family and watch LA Galaxy games!
Fixed review to 5! Fat fingered the star selection! My apologies”
“Overall, the dining experience was highly satisfactory. While the pricing continues to increase, a trend which reflects current industry dynamics, we hope the management will prioritize maintaining the quality of the cuisine and the established high standard of service in the long term.”
“The good variety of food, the craft beers, the good service from the waitresses and being in the Restaurant is super cozy, like being at home with family.”
“I recently visited this barbecue spot where you cook the meat yourself at the table, very similar to a Korean barbecue experience, and overall it was a really enjoyable visit. The quality of the meat is excellent—fresh, flavorful, and presented beautifully. I ordered a variety of cuts including one portion of Wagyu, which was good, though not the standout I expected. Still, everything else was genuinely impressive, and you can definitely taste the quality in every bite.
The place is on the pricier side. For me as a single person, my total came out to around $100, which is definitely not cheap. But considering the experience, the freshness of the ingredients, and the type of meats offered, it’s understandable. This is not an everyday spot, but more of a “treat yourself” type of place or somewhere you go when you want a quality dining experience.
The atmosphere is nice and modern, and the service is attentive and helpful. When the restaurant gets busy, it can get a bit loud, but that’s pretty normal for this style of barbecue where everyone is cooking, talking, and enjoying the vibe. It still feels fun and energetic rather than overwhelming.
Overall, I’d say this restaurant is worth a visit, especially if you enjoy the interactive experience of grilling your own meat. It’s a great place to try at least once, or to come back occasionally when you’re in the mood for high-quality barbecue and a unique dining experience. Positive vibes, good food, and a memorable night out.”
“The server was so Great. He is so respectful, attentive and helpful. He gives suggestions of what I will order being my first time in Wadatsumi. Thank you very much for the Awesome service.😊 I'll definitely come back with my friends.💯”
“The food is delicious, the service is friendly and the prices are reasonable. If you can be patient when they are busy, you’ll enjoy it. We’ve been coming here for over 15 years.”
“I had creamy perilla acorn noodles( 들깨도토리국수) and pork n potato dumpling. They both were really good and I enjoyed talking with the owner whose service was nothing but great, personable and friendly. Their to go box was impressably nice and fancy which kept the food as was. I am going back for those two dishes that I know no Korean restaurant in the South Bay offers.”
“Only place with Cold Buckwheat noodles (our children’s) favorite all year long, whereas other Korean restaurants are seasonal.
Very nice and pleasant staff”
“What amazing food, which is surpassed only by the professional and attentive service. I was fortunate to discover this gem in Torrance, California and it’s menu that features well executed classics created with care. The experience is one I recommend to anyone who loves good food and a welcoming atmosphere. Cheers to the staff who prepare and serve such fine food with genuine care. Try it and you’ll find yourself happy to discover this wonderful culinary experience.”
“My family and I went there for lunch on a Friday. The restaurant was full, and we were seated in a private room where you had to take off your shoes to enter. The service was excellent, and the menu featured unique items at reasonable prices. We will definitely return for more.”
“Great Japanese restaurant in the Miyoko Hybrid Hotel (never stayed at the hotel) in the Torrance area.
This restaurant is a great place for family gatherings, and has excellent Japanese food, service and classy ambiance. Plenty of free parking in the lot, as well as food selection. We only go to the restaurant to dine, but I have noticed on multiple occasions that this is a popular place for international Japanese flight crew to stay at while staying overnight in Los Angeles/LAX.”
“I dropped by in the morning and pretty sure they were closed, but Santos was nice enough to hook me up with some beers anyway. Cannot wait to try out these unique drafts.”
“Excellent experience last night! We ordered the Avocado Eggrolls and shared a Hawaiian pizza…delicious! Madison is fantastic server…she was lovely and very knowledgeable on the menu. A+”
“Tremendous, upbeat staff. Very welcoming. Great variety of food and drink. Great vibe”
“Good taste noodle, great customer service! interesting old Torrance neighborhood.”
“Great restaurant, I love the staff and the kimchi is phenomenal. The cheaper option has great meat options and the included bibimbop and steamed eggs are delicious. I'm a regular here once a week or so.”
“Great food - Great service! I came here 2 times in a week, each time greeted like a long time patron! The people are friendly, kind and attentive! The food was great each time with fresh ingredients and the salsa is awesome. Also, honest people, who kept my son’s jacket for several days after he forgot it at our last visit.”
“Really great food + specials and we had such a fabulous waitress we shall be back!”
“Nice place to go with friends to hangout. DJ on the weekends is very good, great music to dance to.”
“Antonio is the best chef in the Southbay, he pours a great glass of vino! Jess, provides great service.”
“I've tried a bit of sushi in the area and this might be my new favorite.
I've had Waka Sakura in the Tokyo Central Gardena and the BluFish in Torrance. Those have their time and place but if you want high quality fish with a mom and pop feel, this is the spot. It's also been around 22 years at the time of my review!
Everything is a la carte and you know it's a solid place when there's no rolls loaded with crab meat, cream cheese and spicy versions of everything (aka when they try to get rid of past fish).
First I got salmon, fatty tuna and Japanese mackerel. Delightful all around (but I'd skip the salmon to have more of the other two). This cost $7-9/each fish and they come with two pieces per order.
Next - sea eel tempura ($12). A simple crispy treat and a change up from the usual shrimp or vegetable tempura. I probably wouldn't get again but it was nice to try!
The steamed egg custard is the cutest little dollop of sunshine. I would end or start the meal with it since it's a nice palate cleanser ($6). It comes hot. Be careful #experience
My last round of fish was seabream (my first time and it was sooo soft/buttery), Spanish mackarel, and sea eel. Like the other round $7-9 each for an order of two. I liked the saltiness of the Japanese mackarel better personally.
Great meal and I'm already making mental notes for things I want to try next time.”
“Decided to try out this local spot on a whim and i'm really glad I did. I pulled up 15 minutes until closing and the waitress still took my order to go. Dine in was no longer available which was understandable. She was very witty and funny, excellent service and I enjoyed the unexpected laughter. Food was ready super quick and she even met me at the door to pick it up. The food was incredible, very rich flavor and made with love. I ordered the #4 which was recommended by her. I am looking forward to dining in next time, really nice spot. Go check it out.”
“We got the meatballs and a chicken parm.
Everything was beyond good. Their marinara was especially delicious.
Service was SO bad though. We did arrive at 10pm, but if an establishment is open late, their staff should be down to work late.
We waited an inordinate amount of time at the front desk to be greeted and then seated, even though there were plenty of open booths and not a lot going on.
We barely saw our server and she had a bit of an attitude.
I do expect more from employees than what we received when I’m at a nicer establishment. But the food was good enough to forgive what was lacking.”
“it's a little community hamburger joint. I love it because they help out the kids and so many activities. but the food is good and the atmosphere is quiet along with the service. great”
“This place is better than what I was thinking I am glad I tried it they do not have many american foods but the pizza and fries were decent and I really liked the seafood the dessert bar wasnt as great as I hoped but honestly the best sweets were on another bar try the sesame ball and the chinese donuts those were so good I took some home I was sad they had put a banana flavor in the icecream machine but if it was vanilla I would have been very satisfied with a root beer float they took me by surprise but I think it was honestly and accident. I tried 4 types of chinese food chicken and they were all very good general Taos was the fave the coconut shrimp was the wifey's favorite we will be back for more.”
“Waited approximately one hour to be seated. Spoiker: it was well worth that wait. I ordered the tonkatsu ramen and pork buns. I can't decide which part was better, the noodles or the broth! The pork buns were priced just right at $8 for 2. Some of the best I've had. You are all so lucky to have such a wonderful ramen bar in your community. I am from Maine and will be sure to stop by this establishment every chance I get once I am in town.”
“Nice place to hangout with friends. Food are good, but a little pricey in my opinion. Service is great and fast. The waiter when we came last time was funny. I highly recommend this place to chill and hangout.”
“Feels like you are in Japan great atmosphere! Only thing is you do need to make a reservation if you want a booth. They do offer walk in but only for the stool chairs/bar.”
“Love Beaux, I can stop by for a quick drink and some appetizers to full dinner 🥘 I just love that this place reminds me of Tokyo back in my young days in Tokyo lol 😂 great cocktails and awesome Japanese whiskies🥃 Waitresses are super friendly and attentive, and this place is great for Nijikai nightcap as well ✨”
“Smallish Italian restaurant we first came over 35 years ago. Many owner changes over the years. The garlic bread is hands down the best (outside of my own) ever! The garden salad was good, and the meat lovers pizza was very good!
We'll be back soon!!”

“The Sunday breakfast buffet is excellent! Plenty of high quality options. They even have a great mariachi band playing and clowns making balloons for the kids. The service was very attentive and accommodating. The day ambiance is very contemporary in design with abundant indoor seating and outdoor seating. Great place to dine in the morning.”

“We had the good fortune of stumbling across Moom Maam gelato when deciding on someone to cater our company's summer event. The flavors were delicious and many were options that you really can't find anywhere else. Their homemade waffle crisp was a surprise hit as well (and gluten free!), and with several vegan options, they were a caterer that truly could have a little something for people regardless of diet restrictions. And despite the whopping number of flavors they brought (15!!) the lines moved along at a good clip--managing to serve hundreds within 2 hours--and the portions were generous.”
“Pho Hue Oi is a straight up hidden gem in Torrance and I am OBSESSED. Family owned, incredibly warm, and the service is next level — the kind where you feel like you’re eating at someone’s house and they actually want you there.
The food? Let me get into it. Their Lomo Saltado hits different because they put a Vietnamese spin on it and somehow it works even better than the original. Bold, saucy, wok-fired perfection.
Now. Mom’s rice cake dish — I cannot pronounce it but I CAN tell you exactly what’s in it: shrimp, crunchy pork rinds, finished with fish sauce and Thai chilies. It sounds simple. It is NOT simple. It is layered, funky, crispy, savory and I was not prepared for how good it was. That dish alone earns all five stars.
No alcohol here but their Thai tea is genuinely elite. Thick, creamy, cold — does the job beautifully.
If you haven’t been to Pho Hue Oi yet, what are you even doing? Go. Bring people. Order everything.”
“Best New Wave salad! 🙌👍
The ahí tuna is mixed with a delicious sauce and veggies over a bed of warm rice. A single order could feed 4. Wow!!
Delicious, and the entire team is very friendly and patient with ordering, particularly when it's a new biz with new and unfamiliar food items.
Best part, there's no dairy or lactose! 🙏 😇 Over 60% of American adults over 30 yo have some form of this, so this biz is ahead of their time with nutritious foods like this. The red tea is incredible, tropical and floral.
Thanks to everyone who made my experience so pleasant. 🌟💚”
“They have an awesome multiple day deals you can try. We went on a Tuesday for the gryo wraps and fries combo that could feed up to 5 people.
The gyro was decent and the fries were nice and crispy. The portions were a little bit small, so it felt like it could likely feed 4 instead of 5.
The staff was very nice and friendly.”
“We found this place by accident and decided to try some açaí right away and I’m so glad we did. I have to say. if you’re looking for a real Brazilian superfood açaí experience, you’re going to love this place. It’s one of the best açaí bowls I’ve had outside of Brazil. The staff is very friendly, and on top of that, you can choose unlimited toppings. Highly recommend!”

“I had the chicken burger for lunch and really enjoyed it. The chicken was juicy and perfectly crispy, and the fries were nicely seasoned and delicious. I also noticed they have a curry buffet that looked amazing. I believe it’s around $14.99, so I’m definitely planning to try that next time.”
“Great dinner at Izakaya Ringo tonight! The sushi and sashimi were incredibly fresh and flavorful — especially the golden eye snapper, halibut, and Spanish mackerel.
Grabbed a beer, watched the Dodgers game, and enjoyed the relaxed vibe. The staff was very friendly and the service was spectacular!”
“muy bueno, lo recomiendo al 100, comida koreana.”
