“I received a gift card for Outback Steakhouse for my birthday. I was reluctant to go to the Outback Steakhouse at the Del Amo Mall in Torrance because we went there a couple of years ago, and the food and service were not good. We decided to try it again today, and we are so glad we did. Our server, Raymond, was so nice and attentive. He made us both feel welcomed. I ordered the sirloin steak, and my husband ordered the prime rib. We both ordered the vegetable - broccoli and baked potato. The portions were big enough for us to take some home to eat later. Raymond also brought bread to our table before our meals. The atmosphere was welcoming. The air conditioning was a little cool for me, but I get cold easily anyway. We had a very nice dining experience, and we plan to return in the future.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is very roomy and I had no problem using my wheelchair there.“

“Arthur J has been the staple go-to restaurant for me and my husband everytime we celebrate a new promotion, new job, raise, etc. We always invite out another couple to dine with us to celebrate, and the past two times (including tonight) was a bit of a disappointment. We have always ordered the tomahawk steak the past 4-5 times we've dined here, and tonight it was so fatty that there were probably only 16 oz of edible meat... from a 40oz steak. I know the bone is included in the weight, but I really could not see this Tomahawk feeding two people. I wish I had taken a photo of the Tomahawk because I really couldn't believe how small it looked. One of the entire end pieces was pure fat. Literally maybe a tiny sliver of meat (think like the size of a dime) on a 3x3" piece of fat. I did a brief perusal of the Yelp photos of the Arthur J Tomahawk to check my recollection of previous versions of the Tomahawk we had and yeah, the piece we got tonight did not look like anything from the Yelp photos or from our previous experiences. I rarely update Yelp reviews, but tonight's experience was just such a steep, stark contrast to the first time we dined here so many years ago. The first time we dined here, we ordered the Tomahawk and the manager came out and said the chef overcooked it, so he was embarrassed and refused to serve it so he let us choose anything else on the menu for free. Our party was shocked, we hadn't asked for any freebies. But that experience has always stuck out because it showed us how much Arthur J valued the quality of their product and service. In stark contrast to that first experience, I just can't believe how far downhill the standards have gone. I never like to just completely overlook the good parts in a review so here's the good: service was friendly albeit slightly slow, sides were good- especially the beef fat fries. I also like being able to pay the check on my phone.“
“The three of us shared the brussels sprout salad, which was absolutely delicious the lobster lollipop appetizer the robins Island steak, the scallop, potatoes, country bread, and for dessert we decided to top it off with the milk chocolate crème brûlée service was great as was the presentation. Nice wine list, I'll be back again and may order the same thing!“

“Easily one of the best experiences in a long time. We live in the area and have wanted to try this place for a long time. Josh as a host was incredible from the moment we walked in the door. He was so friendly and made us feel like regulars even though it was our first time. Ricardo was our server and we found he had been there fore 23 years. He was so nice and kind. The food is incredible. We had the shrimp cocktail to start, which was great. Then we ordered the famous burger and the prime rib. Both were amazing. We also had the bread pudding for dessert. Everything was so great, and all of the other tables were filled with what felt like regulars. Don't let the outside turn you off. Once you enter, you'll be treated to a great evening.“
“Parking is metered on the street. Also a parking lot that is available across the street. Check signage for parking. Nice ambiance. Interior is well decorated. The service was amazing. Francisco was our waiter. The best waiter. Very friendly and attentive. Ordered the bread, champagne, Caesar's salad, tagliatelle for starters. All were absolutely delightful. The tagliatelle had duck ragu in it. So tasty and not gamey at all. The best dish. The bread was also delicious. Soft and crispy at the same time. Got the ribeye, filet mignon, and gnocchi. With roasted potatoes, mushrooms and the hoppin john risotto as sides. Ribeye and filet were both cooked to perfection and seasoned very well. The gnocchi had lobster in it. Also very very tasty. All the sides complimented the main dishes. Then had a spiced rum with pear liqueur to end the night. Very nice and not overpowering. Thank you Fransisco for making it a memorable night. Will definitely come back and recommend to others.“
“I do not understand HOW this place has a 3.3 rating! The food is fantastic... a little pricey, but really great quality. Having a hotel right next to this steak and seafood restaurant is a great combo if you want a get away place for the weekend with your other half! Service is usually really quick and the atmosphere is good too. Having TV's outside to watch a game, a piano player or karaoke dj is just a bonus. Love to go here to eat!“
