“The staff was great and very friendly, but service was slow and it was very loud inside. Granted it was a Saturday night so understandable that they would be busier than maybe during the week and livelier. My salmon was excellent and my crab cake was perfect. The steaks we ordered were great and my toddler loved his French fries 🤣🤣. Very cute interior and i definitely want to come back. Parking sucks...again because it was a busy weekend night so leave early and be prepared to park on street b/c the lot fills up. Thank you for a great night overall.“

“Everything was top notch. My filet was cooked perfectly, martini was perfection, the crab-fried rice was unbelievable, the crab-stuffed shrimp to die for, and the dessert sampler out of this world. And, of course, the service was impeccable. Pro tip - stop by during happy hour for half off on cocktails and reasonably priced tasty treats.“

“I had the warmest experience at The Arthur J, from the hostess at the front door, the wait staff and the manager. I had recently lost my husband prior to my reservation and was determined to enjoy our anniversary dinner. Not only was a the food delicious, but the overall experience was beyond memorable. Thank you…. thank you. Can’t wait until I return for his birthday.“

“This is a very expensive restaurant. It is a steakhouse and this is clear from the somewhat limited menu which is mostly expensive cuts of beef. Both mine and my wife's steak were tasty but overcooked. The sides were large portions but again very expensive. The wine list is extensive with the average bottle price in the low 3 digits. The service was very good and the atmosphere is pleasant. If you're interested in spending in excess of $125/person there are better places to spend your dollars.“

“I recently dined at the JW steakhouse at the Marriott at LAX, and it was one of the most memorable dining experiences I’ve had in 25 years of traveling the world. The filet mignon was so tender it practically melted in my mouth no steak knife needed. The wedge salad with blue cheese, the glass of red wine, and even the peppercorn sauce though the steak didn’t need it were all spot on. Lisa, my server, was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, guiding me through the best wine pairings and making the entire experience feel personal and warm. Daniel, the head chef, was gracious and passionate, and his pride in the cuisine shone through every bite. For a hotel restaurant at an airport to deliver this level of quality is second to none. This meal ranks in my top five, and I can confidently say it was the best steak I’ve had in America.“

“We enjoyed a lovely, quiet evening with superb service and outstanding food!! The cotton candy WAGU appetizer was so fun and delicious. Very very unique. If you have a favorite wine, bring it. The restaurant is wine and beer only. Food was really really good. Try it!“

“Stayed at the hotel next door while on a cruise vacation, and the were the closest place. Staff was great! Had an option of Dinner or Happy hour, The difference is seating. We chose the happy hour and was directed to the bar area that had high tops. The meals were essentially the same with the difference being smaller portions and lower prices. The locals at the bar were a fun and friendly group of people, bar staff as well. The food was great, fyi the 1/2lb burger is the size of a cow! Even at a smaller portion, it was still a lot of food. Definitely a hidden gem as far as eateries go.
