“This is THE BEST fine dining steakhouse in North OC with a vibrant, classy atmosphere. From the steaks and seafood to the cocktails and old-fashioneds… everything is amazing. We’ve been patrons since it opened and would even order takeout (even old-fashioneds to go!) during the pandemic. A splurge but absolutely worth it.“

“Old classic American steakhouse. Bartenders are outstanding and pour a good drink not your standard 1 oz. . The Owners Jeff and Steve have greatly improved the place the last several years. I've seen their business increase. The food is very good and competitively priced. Some comments I read earlier that it was overly priced they must go to Denny's a lot. The weekends get packed. Sometimes 1-2 hour wait for dinner. They have entertainment on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. They also have great Happy Hour specials M-F. I'm just another happy customer that has been coming in for years.“

“Usually this place is spot on. Tonight, my husband's shrimp came out overcooked and one of my shrimp was a little mushy. Other than that, steak and salmon we perfect. Sides amazing. No room for desert, so we took them to go. Our server, Christian, was fantastic. Very attentive.“

“Quaint little sit down restaurant inside Ghost Town. We ordered the Roasted Chicken Dinner with mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. The roasted drumsticks and thigh were very moist and flavorful. However, the large chicken breast was dry and hard. My teen ordered the Ghost Town Burger with French fries and said it was dry, needed thousand island or a moist beef patty. Fries were crunchy (dry but had good seasoning).“

“CJ was an excellent waiter. All 4 of us had the Campfire Feast, everyone was enjoyed their meal. Timing of the food was good. Had time to enjoy the courses without feeling rushed. Steaks were cooked perfectly, brussel sprouts could have been roasted a bit longer. Very tasty!! Looking forward to our next opportunity to treat ourselves to a night on the town and still be in our own backyard.“

“Easter dinner at Black Angus was XLNT. The steaks were perfectly cooked, and size was more than either of us could eat. I brought my entire baked potato home. The wagon wheel size of assorted goodies was extremely generous, and the salad was cold and crisp. Server was friendly and attentive to us. Price was appropriate for the portions served. Our guest ordered shrimp and could not believe how many she received. Highly recommended and we will certainly be back.“

“As far as budget steakhouse goes, there's no better place than the Tustin Black Angus. The prime rib was excellent and the Wagon Sampler had always been satisfying. The service was excellent and I will keep coming back to one of my favorite chain restaurants around.“

“We made a reservation for 6:00 PM on a Friday so we could see the beautiful sunset through the windows. The restaurant wasn’t super busy at the time, so we got our food pretty quickly. We ordered the Miner's Filly filet mignon, slow-roasted prime rib, Chilean sea bass, baby back pork ribs, Miner's loaded fries, and a baked potato. Everything was quite decent. While the French onion soup and clam chowder were delicious, they were a bit too salty for my taste. Portions weren't huge, but they were just right. Our server and the busboys were great and very polite.“

“The ambiance is top notch whether you're inside or outside. It's my favorite spot for prime rib in the LA area. Parking can be difficult in the main lot, but they have a lower lot and valet parking
Food/Drink- 4 stars
Truffle fries- these were superb. definitely order
Escargot- a bit disappointed by it. The snails had more bitterness than expected
Prime rib- this was divine. Every slice of the prime rib was so flavorful. I love how you can request it to be cut thinly into English cuts. The creamed corn and creamed spinach were very good, and I appreciated that it wasn't overwhelmed with heavy cream, like a lot of other steakhouses. I was a bit disappointed by the Yorkshire pudding, which came out a bit dry
desserts- we tried the chocolate profiteroles and strawberry cheesecake. Both were pretty good / standard steakhouse quality
Service- 4 stars
Our server, Matt, was excellent. My only complaint was the pacing, as we did wait a long time between our appetizers and entrees.
Bottom Line
The ambiance, views and prime rib were top notch. But the pacing and dryness of the Yorkshire pudding left some room for improvement“
