“Excellent restaurant where you can find succulent and tasty cuts of meat, very tender and cooked to perfection. The wine list is vast, there are also very valuable bottles. It is essential to book, or you risk not finding a place. The service was very good. The price is over $100 per person with 2 courses each, but it is correct for American standards.“
“Jeremiah was an excellent server he was VERY patient And has amazing customer service , also was on point with all the refills and checking up on us while multitasking with other guest . Seen him breaking a sweat making sure his guest was happy and had every need met ! He’s amazing definitely deserves some recognition for his amazing work ethic !“
“Our first time at Leatherby's before Lion King. We thought enjoyed dinner. I had the apple goat cheese salad for my started, unusual & very tasty. For my entree I had branzino, delicious. My friend had the Bay Scallops which she loved. She also had the key lime tart for dessert. The service was excellent & the environment is nicely attired. We will return.“
“Much like many reviews I've read, this place is all about the atmosphere and I'd give it six stars if there was live music. You'll feel like Tony Soprano in an underground speakeasy. If they stepped up the menu, I'd go here twice monthly. Food was solid, but small menu and pretty basic food. We did have a great server too.“
“It’s Mastros. Come with extremely high expectations and plenty of room on your credit card. If you’re not ordering a steak, go elsewhere. The service is impeccable. The wine selection is too. The atmosphere is dimly lit and romantic. This is a fancy business dinner or special occasion type place. Must have a reservation.“
“Eddie V's is one of our favorite restaurants that we frequent throughout the year, drawn by their delectable cuisine and unparalleled service. Opting to celebrate our anniversary there on a Tuesday proved to be an excellent choice, as they surpassed our expectations, showering us with attention and care. This establishment holds a special place in our hearts due to the exceptional service provided by both the staff and management. The ambiance exudes positivity, complemented perfectly by the delicious food. Whenever we crave a perfectly tender filet, this is our go-to spot. The crab cakes never disappoint, and recently, we indulged in the exquisite lobster tacos. Despite our inclination to try multiple dishes, we rarely have room for dessert. However, on our anniversary, we were treated to a delightful surprise - the butter cake, both delicious and beautifully presented. It was the perfect ending to our meal. Thank you for crafting a truly memorable anniversary dinner experience. We wholeheartedly recommend Eddie V's for its exceptional food, service, and atmosphere!“
“I was in town on a business trip and decided to try this spot out with a couple friends. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the ambiance and the bartender. We ordered a bottle of wine and the sausage penne pasta.I initially ordered the linguini but was not impressed. They changed out my meal with no problem. The scallion bread is really good too. I'll definitely be back to visit.“
“Wow, a place with a beautiful view of Huntington beach. We were a big group of 60 for an office dinner. They gave us place with the beach view. I would definitely recommend this place for the following reasons1. Ambience on a nice weather day is amazing with view of beach. This is just across the road to Huntington Pier.2. Food is good and tasty.3. Service is fast and we had a great time there.“
“Delicious and excellent service, food and atmosphere. Our table had adorable Happy Birthday confetti ? The steaks melt in your mouth and if you’re going to get appetizers get the spicy shrimp ?. I highly recommend this place for anyone wanting great steaks. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“Overall we had a very nice dinner here. I honestly wasn’t expecting much when I saw discount gift cards at Costco, several discount offers through various channels, and a name as generic as “The Winery”. It all seemed like aggressive marketing. But beyond a few minor complaints, we had a good time here.Ambience / Location: It was very busy on the Saturday night we visited. $10 valet only parking, with no real self-parking options nearby. We had a reservation and were sat promptly even though it was packed. The interior is very nice, with the huge cellar wall and the view out to the harbor. We sat near the window looking out to the water. There was live music playing through the night. Along with a rather boisterous neighboring table, it made for a very loud environment. Not exactly the place to have a quiet conversation with your date. 4/5Service: The service was top notch. It’s been a while since I’ve been to a place with good service like this. Everyone is very friendly and attentive. The owners were walking around that night and checking on every table, and they even gave free shots and wine to a neighboring table having a 30th anniversary. 5/5Food: The food was great. Again I was not expecting too much, but for a high-end chain steakhouse style place it was quite good. We had steaks, and they were very well cooked. Perfect medium rare end to end with no banding. The sides were great too, the Brussels Sprouts stood out. Well seasoned and cooked. On the drink side we had wine by the glass. I was a little disappointed by their by the glass offerings because it was all New World wine (US / Australia / South America) except for one. And the waiter couldn’t tell us much about the one Italian wine that was there, he didn’t even know it was a Super Tuscan. I had to look it up later. One other small pet peeve: They ask if you want bread when you first sit down, which I normally assume is free because it is at a lot of restaurants. Here it costs $6 which you won’t know until the bill comes. Feels like getting nickeled and dimed.4/5Again, even with the minor complaints I’ll likely be back again in the future. I recommend a visit.“
“Great dinner! The menu has quite a few options and the great appetizers. We had a gift card so we tried the pork belly appetizers with white beans. The carmelization was perfect and the flavor was great. I had the mahi-mahi and it was cooked perfectly and had a nice crust with tender flaking inside. It looked like a small dish but it was rich with flavor and filling. My husband had the short rib which didn't even need a knife. It was so tender and also rich with flavor. I had their version of an old-fashioned and it had a nice sweet vanilla flavoring. It might be too sweet for some but I only had one drink. For dessert I had the chocolate mousse which was light and had a very mild flavor not overbearing sweetness. My husband tried the creme brulee and it was actually sweeter than the chocolate mousse. The sugar crystalization had a perfect char. We loved our meal and will head back again for their happy hour.“
“Another wonderful dinner at The Bungalow. We snuck in on the last night of OC Restaurant Week. Peter enjoyed the Corn Chowder Soup, 10 oz. lobster tail with mashed potatoes. And creamy Cheesecake (to go). So amazing. I had the Blackened Salmon and it was perfect. The sauce was Devine and a dollop of guacamole on top were so flavorful. And guacamole had a little crunch to it. Thank you! Deirdre“
“This Black Angus is a long-time coastal steakhouse, designed for a private experience & has a unique view of the freeway. I get my steaks medium & are always perfect. I recommend the New York Strip Steak with their sauce. The Sky-High Mud Pie is a top rated dessert choice. It also has an interesting bar.Wheelchair accessibility: Excellent disabled parking adjacent to the freeway & wheelchair accessibility.“
“This is my favorite restaurant! The food is great, the service, especially by Sean and the rest of the team is the best! Highly recommend! Plus it’s the only place in town that stays open the latest! Very friendly atmosphere. Great food, impeccable service and awesome atmosphere equal an amazing experience. I’d give 100 stars if I could!!!“
“This steakhouse could be a real gem, but the quality of the experience hinges entirely on the waitstaff you get. My steak itself was decent, though not mind-blowing – perhaps a bit on the expected side for a high-end steakhouse. Coming from New York City with its abundance of incredible steakhouses, I may be a little spoiled. However, the saving grace of the night was our server, Vicky. She was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure our every need was met and our dining experience enjoyable. Her positive attitude and excellent service really elevated the evening.“
“I haven't been to Black Angus for several years. Mainly because I'm a vegetarian. However I was meeting a client who did not know as a vegetarian and they wanted to go here. I was actually pleasantly to surprised to see that there was a couple options on the menu for me. The people that I were with were very happy with the food and the service was Top Notch. The place could use a little upgrade in upholstery, but overall even the atmosphere gave that feeling of that hometown ranchville.Vegetarian options: There's not a lot but there are definitely some options for us vegetarians so our meat eater family and friends can enjoy their meet and we can still eat with them.Wheelchair accessibility: This place is definitely wheelchair accessible from parking lot to table“
“One of our go-to place every special occasion... I always request the prime rib, fall-out the bone, so tender juicy, melts in your mouth. For me, you can't go wrong. If you you like meat or steak just like I do, just buy that Texas de Brazil gift card worth $200 for $150 @ Costco. I hope this helps you. Enjoy!“
“We've eaten at the Morton's Harbor Blvd. location several times, and decided to give this one a try since our daughter was awarded a gift certificate by her work. It's maybe ten miles further from our home and we agreed worth the drive compared to Anaheim. This review is based on a 4:00 reservation on a Sunday afternoon. First advantage is that there is a ton of free parking. The inside of the restaurant follows the Morton's theme - pretty dark, old school, traditional American steakhouse. Cool. We were greeted quickly and seated in about a minute. Nice corner booth, which I asked for when I made the reservation. Service here was outstanding. They are very attentive and checked on us with just the right frequency to ensure we had whatever we needed. Their wine list is extensive. Our food was excellent. I had the small Filet Mignon and it was cooked to my taste (medium rare), with their house salad. Great dressing! My wife had the lobster macaroni, and that was very good. My daughter had a salad and the truffle string fries. The manager on duty, Aly, spent a few very nice minutes with us which was enjoyable. Our server, Alex (Alexandria) was perfect. Very friendly, professional, and efficient. She's also one of the bartenders there.“
“This place is awesome. Last night was my second time going there. My friend recommended this place to me, because she lives in the area. And every time she recommend something to me or takes me somewhere to eat, it's awesome. The food is unbelievable. The service is friendly and top bar. The drinks are the bomb. The atmosphere is great. I was very happy both times. I would go back again in a minute! And definitely ask James to be your server. He was the best server ever last night. I think I might have had the best filet mignon of my life at this place last night. The grilled lobster is great. The seared scallops are the bomb. I highly recommend it.“
