“Went for lunch with reservation. Server was attentive, knowledgeable on menu and friendly. Everything came out timely from appetizers, to main course, but desert seemed to take a little longer. Shared PESTO CHICKEN AND FRESH MOZZARELLA FLATBREAD, PHILLY CHEESESTEAK FLATBREAD & CHARCUTERIE BOARD. I didn't try charcuterie which looked good, flat read was good but not to die for. Main course had the BRICK-OVEN ROASTED CHILEAN SEA BASS which was also very good, cooked excellent and left me satisfied but not full. Moved on to desert and couldn't decide on KEY LIME PIE (1 MINI) & BLUEBERRY AND LEMON (1 MINI) so got both - have to say I was surprised the key lime pie was not tart enough for liking and the pie crust crumbles fell as I scooped out of the dish with my spoon, the blueberry and lemon was excellent and highly recommended! I would return to this location for lunch or dinner, would love to have had a drink during happy hour to complement the meal.“

Chixy Natural’s Paleo Bowl was absolutely delicious! Such simple and yummy ingredients! Best of all, I didn’t have to cook it myself. We will be going there again!“

“Way better coffee than the chain coffee shops, and Chai is delicious too. They offer two chai selections, vanilla and spice, or mix the two. Small selection of pastries, which are average, packaged protein bars and juice shots, and a few breakfast items on the menu. Will try one of those next time. Friendly staff that you don't mind tipping, and cute, simple decor. Plenty of free parking.“

“We chose Penelope's Perfection to make something really special for my Mom's 100th Birthday party. The cake was spectacular. Everything & more we could have asked for. Highly recommended!“

“The last hidden gem in Costa Mesa. This easily tops waiting for chick fil a down the street. I let the cashier guide my order because I was too tired to come to a decision. He suggested the special which was wise of him because it includes 4 karage (tender fried chicken thigh) a potato croquette, 3 cali roll pieces and a salad with potato salad, excellent for a post 9 hour work day meal. My pregnant wife got the 5 piece karage and said it changed her life for the better. I didn’t take pictures because I was so in awe and in the moment. It was photo ready. The food comes out RIPPING hot. Which made us so comfortable eating there, especially pregnant knowing they make everything actually fresh to order, cooked to appropriate temperature to ensure food safety. Not just marketing fresh, there is nothing siting here waiting for you to order, this is not fast food. They tell you it’s going to take a few minutes and it’s worth the wait because they do not compromise on quality here. With that being said it’s not even that long and I will no longer be visiting chick fil a when this place is open and it’s much healthier.

Javier is THE BEST leader a place could have. He will truly make sure he, or his team, will take care of you. I’ve been coming here quite a bit now and every time my experience is incredible. The Pork Banh Mi is on the menu right now as well… IT WAS SO DELICIOUS (a must try)!! I have tried several different brands of desserts that are touted for their clean ingredients and for eliminating the most common allergens but nothing has come close to Nowhere Bakery quality and taste! My order arrived today and I was so excited that I tried two item, the brownie and the chocolate chip cookie. My mind is blown! They taste SO good, like normal desserts and they didn’t cause my body to react (I’m extremely sensitive to what feels like everything). I already excited and can’t wait to order my second box of goodies to have on hand for those night that I’m craving dessert. Finally I can partake and don’t feel like I’m missing out during events, potlucks, parties, etc… and I have no doubt that even people who don’t have food allergies/sensitivities would enjoy these just as much as I do. We’ve been trying their Honey Bear and the traditional pepperoni and the margherita pizza. The dough is a perfect chewy stretchy thin texture and complement the pizza ingredients really well. My favorite seem to be the pizza with anything ricotta. Tried the sauced one too that has their pesto, marinara and another cream sauce I believe, but while it is tasty, definitely gravitate to the hot honey Honey Bear and pepperoni pizzas.“
