SusieCakes is a fantastic bakery with great service, especially at the Costa Mesa location. The chocolate nutty sandwich was decent but the star was the delightful strawberry cake, with strawberry puree buttercream that was moist and super tasty. The service was lacking in friendliness but the cakes made up for it. The mini cupcakes were delicious, and the pineapple upside-down cupcakes were a must-try.
