“We stopped in on a recent vacation to California. Growing up in Okinawa, I hadn't had Japanese cheesecake in over a decade. I appreciated the quick service and the cheesecake hit just the right spot. I appreciate that they are not overly sweet like many other places I have tried. We got a stamp card from them too which was pretty cool. I even got a cake as a gift and it traveled well back on a plane. I will definitely be back when we visit again!“

“Poul’s Bakery took our breath away , we couldn’t believe the cake we have taken pictures from we have searched the internet images and sent it to her the custom cake we wanted , and not only she made the identical one ,the taste was so delicious actually finished the entire slice, it’s rare for me to eat the whole slice, as many cakes are made with to much sugar , it overwhelms to entire cakes other ingredients, this was so perfectly balanced ,and l asked for second , so did few guests , we as host wished we ordered the bigger size , we don’t like the buttercream topping due to its excessive sugar , we ordered her soexisl topping , while you others ask no buttercream but we want Poul’s Bakery special topping we heard so much about it , sorry l don’t remember what it was called . My bad ,this Poul’s baker we also find out been around for decades as she is the second owner but uses the same original recipes. She said it’s a company secret Lol, we respect that Try Poul’s Bakery , it won’t s sidelong you and ask for a sample of their fantastic cannolis . And on the spot in events she actually make the cake front of your guests . We never tried that but people are ranting about it and went at viral with millions of views and shared ,,we saw it in her website . “This was the best experience ever. I’m not sure what his name was, but this guy with bleached hair who was working the register was the greatest of all time. Keep him forever. He was so accommodating, answered all of our questions and could not have been a better employee. He seriously deserves a raise, he is the best employee you have, and my group was loud and had many questions. The food and drinks were delicious and lived up to the hype, 100000% recommend.“

“The cakes and tarts are great, but unfortunately they don't have an oven and don't heat up their croissants! Which is a bummer because cold and stale aren't the best. But other pastries like mille feuille and lemon tart were incredible. Best mille feuille I've had in OC! There's no place to sit inside the cafe, but you can take your food and pastries to the general complex with portola etc, and there's lots of open seating spaces there“

“This was my first time actually coming into French’s Bakery, though I was already a fan after coworkers brought some of their cakes into the office. I stopped by to pick up a birthday cake for my niece, and I was so impressed!

They have a huge selection of cakes in all different sizes, and everything is very reasonably priced. Beyond the beautiful cakes, their display cases are packed with a tempting variety of cookies and other pastries that look amazing.

The staff was incredibly nice, welcoming, and friendly from the moment I walked in. It’s always a great feeling to get excellent customer service alongside high-quality treats. I’ll definitely be back for future celebrations and highly recommend them to anyone in the Costa Mesa area looking for an excellent local bakery!“

“Way better coffee than the chain coffee shops, and Chai is delicious too. They offer two chai selections, vanilla and spice, or mix the two. Small selection of pastries, which are average, packaged protein bars and juice shots, and a few breakfast items on the menu. Will try one of those next time. Friendly staff that you don't mind tipping, and cute, simple decor. Plenty of free parking.“

Corn mayo: lots of corn, lots of mayo. Very buttery. 1 scoop less of mayo would do. Would have been nice with some tuna/bacon/ham

Almond Danish: AMAZING! CRISPY, bready, almondy goodness

Green tea cornet: very distinct matcha flavor. Nice cream and texture, though recommend waiting for it to warm a bit instead eating it fridge cold. Would have liked it sweeter so probably the regular cream would have been perfect.

Brioche cream pan: delicious. Perfect sweet balance, love the texture. And a bit under $3!“

I have tried several different brands of desserts that are touted for their clean ingredients and for eliminating the most common allergens but nothing has come close to Nowhere Bakery quality and taste! My order arrived today and I was so excited that I tried two item, the brownie and the chocolate chip cookie. My mind is blown! They taste SO good, like normal desserts and they didn’t cause my body to react (I’m extremely sensitive to what feels like everything). I already excited and can’t wait to order my second box of goodies to have on hand for those night that I’m craving dessert. “i found the Challah bread in the store and kept buying it every week. after a few months i stopped seeing it in the store so i looked up the bakery just to find they are a mile away from my house. when i saw all the other baked goods they had i was very happy. i tried a few things but i cant find anywhere a list of baked goods they make. every time i see more and more things that i cant recognize but the smell is just amazing. if they watch this i would love to know how to get a list of what you make.“
