“I’ve been coming here for years and this is my favorite location out of most of the Irvine ones. I always come in the morning for my vanilla oat late. I can count on my drink being made perfectly if I see Josiah or Koleen and the new worker Roshane. This place is always very clean and the workers are super friendly. The eggs are fluffy and have a great flavor. The tortilla is soft. Im not one for cheese on my food. But the cheese they use is also soft and melts right into the burrito. The salsa is a must to add onto before a bit. My new spot when I’m in the area 😍“

“While I have yet to try the bagel portion of this place I'll say their smoothies pop like no other. I love a nice strong fruit flavor when I order a smoothie of any kind and wanted to treat myself after a long work week. Ended up going for the solid uber eats deal and got two smoothies for 15 bucks. Overall taste popped, it actually came with a carrier (which is a low bar surprisingly with smoothie places doing online orders nowadays) and solid for the size given. I'd love to go in again someday soon and try the rest of their menu.“

But my review is for the service… There was a thoughtful young man who noticed I had my baby in one hand so he helped gather what I wanted instead of making me fumble with the display cases and then walked my coffees out to the car. “I ordered two cream pans and let me say it doesn't disappoint. So if you love creamy custard filling folded into buttery bread that is made with TLC, then Hamada-Ya Bakery is the place to go. Now let's say you eat one and save the other for the next day, I suggest refrigerating it. Then when you want to eat it take it out of the fridge and let it sit until it's room temperature. Your taste buds are going to be very happy you did. ?“

“Really nice, cool place, ample seating. Note: I DID NOT TRY A DRINK. Had the Matcha Coconut Tiramisu 85/100 really good leaves a really nice after taste. Regular (cupcake)??? 75/100 above average, a bit too buttery for my liking but for butter lovers they'd most likely rate quite a bit higher. Had the sea salt chocolate chip cookie, 9/10 GREAT“

“If you haven’t checked out HooRay Bakery yet, you’re missing out! Even though it’s an online-only store, it’s 100% worth ordering from. Their milk bread and matcha bread are my absolute favorites!!!!! super soft, fresh, and packed with flavor. The milk bread is fluffy, and the matcha bread has a rich, smooth taste that isn’t too strong.

Everything arrives fresh and feels thoughtfully made, like a true specialty bakery experience right at home. If you’re in the Irvine area, definitely place an order this is my go-to spot for these treats!“

“They are beyond and exceedingly a top notch Bakery. They filled a large perder of assorted baked goods during one of the hardest times of our life. The love that went into every pastry was greatly appreciated. It was such a great way to thank the over 200 guests in attendance to my fathers final farewell. We saw people embody dads generosity by sharing such decadent treats. To us as a family, we were voting grateful for that special touch that Crema Artisan Bakery added in celebrating our patriarchal great white oak of the family. “I have visited JJ Bakery Irvine over a decade. I love their Traditional Taiwanese breads , pastries and sweets. Here are a few items that I would recommend (in pic order)

1. Egg Tart: I always purchase two egg tarts when I have the chance. But, it got sold out quickly.
2.Taro Pastry: Real taro paste, not too sweet. It is very delicious

3. Custard Bread: One of the traditional Taiwanese breads.
4. Scallion Bread: It is savory. Sometimes, I like savory breakfast.

5. Flan: Flan is located at the refrigerator near the entrance. It is dense instead of watery. I love it.

6. Almond Cookie:Perfect snack while I am watching Netflix.( It won’t last 20 minutes though)“

“This is a dessert shop located inside a Korean supermarket. The service is excellent, the staff at the front desk were very friendly. He is one of the few employees I’ve ever seen who’s so outstanding. There are seats nearby where you can relax.“

“I had a beautiful pistachio filled pastry and a spinach w/feta pastry yesterday (didn’t take a pic). They were so beautiful and tasty too. My adult kid loves ube and had the pastry and latte. Everything is fresh and tasty. The seating area is clean but like a mall food court.“

“We ordered the mochi: strawberry, vanilla, ube, mango, yuzu coconut, and green tea. The yuzu was exceptional; it tasted like Korean citron tea, and the coconut made it creamy, while still keeping a tang from the yuzu.
The injeolmi (soybean powder) bingsu was also good, and they gave us a lot of mochi!
The raspberry gelato had seeds in it, and the taste was a bit sharp, but the mango was creamy and tasted like fresh mango!“

“Great selection of holiday cookies. Pretty good selection of cakes. The person who writes happy birthday on the cakes wasn’t there. My mom is old school and likes writing on her cake. Now adays everyone uses those toppers so I get why it’s not as important for them to have someone there who can write. Maybe teach everyone who works at the bakery how to write on the cakes anyway incase. Super friendly and great customer service.“

There is a 3 person minimum in the Store, which I understand. We both went inside and there were two people in there. They lady decided that the best customer service approach was to Yell rudely at my wife "THERE ARE ONLY 3 PEOPLE ALLOWED AT A TIME, YOU NEED TO GET OUT.". .....We both went out and we came back in and while checking out, I told the lady she was very rude to my wife. She decided again the best Customer Service approach was to argue and yell at me " THERE ARE ONLY 3 PEOPLE ALLOWED AT A TIME." This one BAD BOBA won't deter us from coming back, because we have always had good experiences there. She just needs to be called out on this. I am pretty sure she is the supervisor for the morning.“

I love how they recently came up with a smaller version of the apple fritter (they still have the original size, which is almost big as a volleyball!). I always ate the outside and threw away the doughy middle part of the apple fritter, so this smaller version is perfect! Not too much dough. Crispy and sweet all around!“

“I recently moved back to SoCal from being in NorCal for a decade, and one of the first places I visited upon my return. I've been going to Le Dip for at least two decades, and the Chicken Dijon is something that always lingers in the back of my head. I will say that I was left a bit disappointed at my last visit. I, of course, purchased a Chicken Dijon. The garlic aioli and the bread were the shining stars. The bread has the perfect balance of crunch and softness that makes it so easy to eat. The chicken breast was a bit dry, and there wasn't much present in the sandwich. I like the unique contrast that the artichoke provides, but it sometimes feels like it's just placed into the sandwich straight from the jar. The artichoke comes in large chunks, and it would be much better integrated if it were roughly chopped up beforehand. I hope these are so adjustments that the owners can implement, because I think it's going to affect their bottomline if it stays the way it is.“
