Was looking for an exceptional butter cream cake for my wife's birthday. Started searching on Google for bakeries and Penelope's caught my eye. I stopped by the shop to get a sense of what they were about and spoke with Penelope's husband who was so passionate about his wife's cakes, I ended up ordering an 8' vanilla butter cream cake. I’ve purchased Penelope’s cakes since 2017 when I was pregnant with my first child. Since then, I’ve used them for every occasion, for all of the birthday parties for my two boys, and any other party. Their cakes are SO delish, I love the butter cream, and the designs are so beautiful! I’ve been referring others to Penelope’s and every one of them have been pleased. I’ll definitely be one of their long time customers!

This is the best cake shop in Southern California! My wife and I chose them to provide our wedding cake, and we could not have been happier. My wife had a rather unusual flavor idea (salted caramel and Bevarian creme) that wasn't on their recommended list; however, the bakers tried the flavor pairing and said it was actually phenomenal!
