“I love Maro's! As a local, this is my go-to spot for fresh, healthy dishes like the green beans and shishito peppers. The empanadas, especially the mushroom ones, are delicious. While I enjoy most of the entrées on the menu, my favorite is the bone-in filet—super yummy! The owners and staff are always on duty and aim to please, making you feel like family. The ambiance is great too, whether you choose to sit indoors or outdoors. For a more intimate setting, sitting indoors is perfect, but if you want to enjoy the fresh ocean breeze, the outdoor patio is the way to go.“

“Mozambique Steakhouse in Laguna Beach brings a unique dining concept to the area by blending traditional steakhouse offerings with South African inspired flavors. The result is a restaurant that feels different from most others in the region while still maintaining a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
The building itself is impressive and multi-level, giving the restaurant a dynamic layout. One of the most enjoyable parts of the experience is exploring the different spaces inside. The rooftop lounge is particularly popular and provides a great setting for drinks while enjoying the coastal air.
Inside the restaurant the atmosphere is lively and energetic. The dining room has a warm and stylish design that makes it feel upscale without being overly formal. It’s a great spot for both casual dinners and special occasions.
The menu focuses heavily on steaks and grilled dishes, but the South African influences add some interesting variety to the traditional steakhouse approach. The kitchen clearly puts effort into seasoning and preparation, and the dishes tend to be flavorful and well presented.
Service here is friendly and attentive. Staff members are knowledgeable about the menu and seem genuinely enthusiastic about the food they serve. The pacing of the meal is comfortable and allows guests to enjoy the full experience.

“Had dinner again with our favorite server, Eleasha. She never skips a beat. She’s always smiling and keeps us on our toes laughing. Love coming to see her when we are in town. Sirloin was great tonight. But we don’t come for the food. ❤️❤️“

“Hi. I was there for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I had fish with shrimp (creole on top) . I sat in the bar & the waitress was nice but I asked her if the entry was spicy & she reassured me it was not spicy. Well, it DID have a big kick to it & I could only eat about 1/3 of it because of that. She never came back soon after she served it to ask me how it was or I would have told her it WAS spicy. Your caesar salad was DELICIOUS & I highly recommend it. And your cheesecake with raspberry topping was good too. Had a glass of wine also. Sorry but I won't be back because the entry I ordered was spicy & told it wasn't . That was disappointing.“

“Best view, best service, and best food. Its always an amazing experience at Bourbon. The truffle rolls are amazing and they are the only location that has them. My steak was cooked to perfection and the truffle Mac n cheese was tasty. I always come back.“

So my last review was 3 stars 🌟 because it was not a positive experience, bad service etc... but giving it another chance I've gone back with friends 3-4 times in the past 2 months, had to see if it was a trend in anomaly. I'm happy to say that the service has been great, even greated at the front door, and a thank you on the way out, the food was great, came during Happy Hour and portions are the same, no games! No short order kinda deal, place was packed and food was great! Ill be back for sure and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND“

“Absolutely amazing experience! My boyfriend and I decided to try out this restaurant after hearing great things, and it did not disappoint. Our server, Allie (Alessandra), was outstanding! She was so informative, offered recommendations, and drink parings. Our dinner and drinks were delicious, and the overall ambiance was impeccable. We will definitely be coming back & bringing friends and family along! :)“

“Bungalow is our go to OCrestaurant. We go for family occasions, wine dinners, restaurant week, etc. Last night had my favorite cocktail, The Paper Plane, and miso Sea Bass. Had been a couple of months since I had it, and it was absolutely delicious!“

“This is the best Ruth's Chris in California in my opinion! I have been to many but this one is my favorite. Great service, great drinks and amazing hot food! The manager is awesome make sure he checks on you. Our waiter recommended great appetizers. Overall 10/10 and my kids love their steaks! My favorite dinner place and my favorite drink place. Tell them Amanda sent you! You will not be disappointed I promise.“

“The food? IMPECCABLE. I went with a large group of friends and we decided to try just about everything, sharing around the table. Yum! Best. Idea. Ever. The Ambiance was just as we had hoped - ideal for us to comfortably hang out and yap a bit. It was a perfectly fun and inviting atmosphere. The service? AMAZING. We had Mikey as our server. He was so fun, so attentive, so friendly. You'd think he was just one of our group. He made us feel welcome and watched over. I can't wait to come back to Salt Creek! And, Yes! We are asking for Mikey! So should you!“
